    8.8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
I stayed at Hotel Arok in Strasbourg from 13 to 16 October while attending a conference and was very pleased with my choice of accommodation. In fact, I recommended the hotel to the conference organisers. The hotel was exceptionally clean and appeared either to be newly built or recently refurbished, as everything was in excellent condition. My room was lovely, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay. For a three-star hotel, the standard of accommodation was very good. There were, however, a few minor areas for improvement. The bathroom had no hooks for hanging towels or clothes, and the shower was open to the rest of the bathroom, without a glass screen or shower curtain. Consequently, water splashed onto the bathroom floor when showering, although I noticed that it dried quickly. Toiletries were also limited to liquid soap in dispensers by the sink and in the shower. There were no additional toiletries or shower caps. This did not cause me any inconvenience, as I had brought my own toiletries and slippers, but it is something the hotel could consider providing for guests. Despite these small drawbacks, the positives far outweighed the negatives. The hotel's cleanliness, excellent condition, lovely room and pleasant staff made it a very good place to stay while attending my conference in Strasbourg. I would happily recommend Hotel Arok to other visitors to Strasbourg.

Lovely hotel across from the station. Met our needs perfectly. Pleasant welcome and breakfast was good. Comfortable nights sleep, quiet and leaving luggage to collect later is no problem as they have lockers available.
