What’s up with the dull ringing sound that goes off every five minutes or so?

Convenient to many places which people like to see and stroll through at their leisure.

There was a bizarre sound that went off from the time we would return at around 10pm until midnight when we finally had to ignore the sound and somehow managed to go to sleep. Not sure what is up but it may have been the elevator. We are not people to complain so we didn’t make a fuss but others with light sleeping habits will find this unbearable.

Great place in central Strassburg

Friendly and helpful personnel, great location - walking distance from the center, spacious clean room, late check out at a very reasonable price.

Impossible to book the parking space in advance, breakfast is ok but you would expect more in terms of variety and quality.

Would not recommend

The hotel is central and has underground parking for €25 for 24 hours (just make sure you turn right and not left after entering) In the room, the twin beds were both clean and comfortable.

Unfortunately, the hotel in general is shabby, unclean and not a welcome retreat after a day of sight-seeing. If you want a nice bar and restaurant then next door Sofitel is so much better.

It was fine, clean and a little bit of space.

Staff were unhelpful, room was a little tired, I've stayed in far better Mercures. No water (unless you want to pay for it). It was all a bit "meh"

Nice hotel in the city center but street side rooms are noisy.

The room is nice and has everything you need, with a clean and nice bathroom. The location is in the heart of the city center with restaurants and shops wihin walking distance. There was a coworking space downstairs.

If you have a street side room you can hear the traffic from the street. The windows have no soundproofing glass. The number of parking spots available at the hotel itself are limited and need to be reserved in advance. The receptionist tried to charge an very high deposit that we had to negotiate downwards.

Great City Hotel - No complaints

Great location, even though parking was limited the receptionist gave us lots of advice on the options. They responded to queries through the booking.com app nice and quickly. Windows open full + air conditioning. Great breakfast on the roof, plenty of seating. Really close to the main square, shopping, cathedral etc.

Windows do open fully so if you have adventurous children just be careful. Our rooms were next to the lift and stairs so it was a bit noisy with bangs and beeps, but in the morning we discovered there is an additional door in our room that we probably should have closed.

Great location, needs an update.

The location is really central, which makes it easy to get to most places. Lots of restaurants and bars close by. They do have their own car park which is very handy. I enjoyed having breakfast on the 7th floor, with nice views over the city,.

The hotel feels extremely dated, and really needs a refurbishment some time ago. Everything is sooo basic. It also doesn't have it's own bar, which is always handy when travelling with colleagues.

Great hotel location within walking distance of major sights and to the train station, quiet overnight, very comfortable beds + two pillows, spacious bedroom and bathroom, friendly staff

Old furnishings - rooms would need renovation, little emphasis on ecology (impractical disposable cups instead of glass), expensive breakfast
