Nothing we only slept there 1 night out of the 2 we booked it was horrible

Nice comfy stay

Nice simple room, nothing fancy but price-wise really worthy. We loved the wooden floor and the owner was a pretty nice guy. The mattress was a tad on the harder side but still comfy. The room has everything you need I’d say.

The bathroom could use a makeover or at least brighter light and the bath mattress is a bubbly wet mess that pretty much never dries😬

"Comme ci comme ça", already not easy to sleep in dormitory

Near the pier, comfy common space with free water, good maitress, electricty near your body in dormitory, little intimisy protection in dormitory.

Very little curtains for above bed people in dormitory, shower just dying without nothing to hang clothes or soap, humidity smell, also very few common lockers ?

Lovely homely stay with very friendly staff

The staff were lovely and super friendly. They had a lovely homely feel in the reception/lounge area. Perfect location with it being so close to the pier, beaches and lots of fabulous restaurants.

The door did nor lock and we were not provided a key, although we had no issues this did concern us slightly when going to sleep. However the hostel feels very safe.

Smiling staff can make your day

Super friendly staff, drinking water and kettle available 24/7. Very good location, close to the beach and shops but quiet at the same time.

The only thing I wasn't particularly happy was blocked and slightly stinky shower. Not a big deal, but definitely some room for improvement with that.

Bedbugs

Avoid this place at all costs! I have never had such a horrible experience at a hotel. After a few days in my room, I started getting dozens of bites. At first, I thought they were mosquito bites, but then I discovered the nightmare: a full-on bed bug infestation! I found adult bed bugs, baby ones, and even dead ones embedded in the mattress. The worst part? The manager refuses to take responsibility. Not only is he refusing to refund me, but he even had the audacity to claim that I brought the bed bugs myself! Completely unacceptable and ridiculous, considering an infestation this severe doesn’t happen overnight. If you care about your health and hygiene, stay far away from this place. I have videos and photos as proof, and I will be reporting this to the authorities. Also, the showers were always clogged, it was dirty. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else!

Good rest.

The beds are super confortable and the place it's clean. I stayed in a 4 dorm bed and, although it's a pretty small room, there's space for all you staff and lockers as well. It has free water and aircon.

It's not a really social hostel like others but it's a chill place.

Everything else. The bathroom was disgusting. Every time we used the sink, the bathroom started to smell. It looked like it had not been properly cleaned in weeks. Further, the door DID NOT have a lock. Everyone could walk in during the day and during the night. This made for a very uncomfortable night. There is no one at the reception almost all day. No security.

Horrible BED BUG CITY

Nothing absolutely dreadful, bed bugs !!!! I’ve never experienced bed bugs before and this place is riddled.

BED BUGS - I’ve never stayed anywhere with bed bugs before, here the place was riddled and they are aware of them and there is nothing being done about them, they put an electric heater on during the day but this does nothing. HORRIBLE OWNER - The owner was so rude and nasty to his employee, shouting at him in such a patronising manner infront of guests. UNCLEAN - everywhere is dirty, common room bathroom and beds.

The location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful ! The bed were comfy enough.

It was really dirty so I didn't feel at ease. It felt like the room wasn't ventilated enough and the bathroom was scary and stinky. And the beds were too close from one another.

The televisión was blocked, and we couldn't play even Netflix on our account, youtube, or whatever. The room floor was dirty, and the toilet lid was broken. Any toilet paper. The bathroom floor becomes a mess after the first bath, and the cloak in the shower doesn't swallow well the water making a pool at your feet.

Firstly Nitro House is falsely advertised. It is not what the photos and descriptions represent. My friends and I stayed in a 8 bed dorm for three nights, 29th June to 1 July 2023. As soon as we arrived, they put us in a considerable small sized room, no windows, boxed together. The aircon was automatic meaning it didnt come on during the day. That lead to the room having no ventilation. Along with mold all on the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom (pictures can be sent upon request). Overall it was constantly dirty. Throughout our stay not one cleaner came in our room! Worst of all, our room turned out to be infested with bed bugs (come to the conclusion of the state of the property it makes sense). With proof of a video of my bed having bed bugs, this ruined the whole experience of the beautiful island of Koh Tao. Immediately after notcing bed bugs, I went to the reception in which the staff didn’t seem to have any empathy and show any concern. Making me think they didn’t belive what I was saying even though I showed the video clearing out lining the bed bugs. Which has come to my well-being, this will continue. Days later all my friends and I have bed bug bites head to toe! this has ruined more of travels by having to visit clinics, pharmacy, cleaning all our clothes bags etc and even having to purchase medications to treat the bites. This is unacceptable and the fact the staff only said sorry isn’t good enough. I therefore would like to speak to someone higher up to deal with this issue further. Whether any compensation can be given due to this awful and unforgettable experience we had to deal with. Look forward to hearing back. Many thanks Claudia Navarro

Perfect for backpackers - best price in area.

Cleaning everyday. Staff friendly. Comfortable dorm bed. Free cold water refill and hot water station. Common area comfortable with free use of TV (netflix, music etc) and air con. Large fridge available to use. Great location very close to pier, restaurants, dive shops.

Air con in room was set warmer than we wanted. Unable to access common area in evening as child would go to sleep with lights off in there. Alternative common area available but no Aircon.

Bathroom in the room not really a good idea sometimes this one, the door is really bad because of the wood /water issue there is no door or shower curtain so there is water everywhere in the bathroom When you share with 4 others, you don't really want to put your feet in all this water!! Maybe curtain for the upper bed could be nice too, because on the top we have all the light when the other person go to the shower, outside..

Asked to get the room cleaned (we were staying a week) and they basically just emptied the bin and didn’t restock toilet roll or even sweep the floor When we left the property, we accidentally left a set of airpods on the bed. Went back for them a couple hours later and they “hadn’t been found” despite knowing full well where they had been left.

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room comfortable and I really liked few Areas with sofa that you can chill; one of them is with AC and you can even watch Netflix in rainy days!

The building itself it is a little bit old and rusty but it is with new paint and it is clean and you can see that someone cares about this facilities.
