I booked the cheapest private room I could find within walking distance from the ferry, and where it clearly said it was a convenient DSA. There were no choices of rooms, all being listed as budget double rooms with fans. I arrived with 0 expectations, especially after having read the Google reviews. To my surprise, the room was perfectly fine! You booked a budget room, right. If you need MORE than a spacious enough, clean room with attached bathroom, a comfy bed, toiletries, toilet paper and towels, then just book a more expensive place! You get better value for money on the mainland, but for Island accommodation, it was actually good. Do not believe the Google reviews. The room had a strong fan and it also had a very weak Aircon which did indeed dry the air in the room, so it wasn't damp inside. My wet clothes dried up overnight. It was a drying rack for clothing in the room. After all the room was listed as a FAN room! There was a hot and cold water dispenser downstairs and a few tables and chairs. Excellent WiFi. 7 eleven across the street.
It was nothing I didn't like.

Good location.
AC didn't work. No cleaning for 8 days. WIFI worked 2/8 days. Ants infested.

Very friendly staff , great location, great value for money, overall a great place to stay.
The only issue we had was that there appeared to be a leak in both the bathroom and next to the bed, it wasn’t a huge deal but there was quite a bit of dripping water.
