The hostel has a simple high-tech style, made of natural materials like wood and uniquely designed plywood. Minimal decor, but very comfortable beds—firm yet pleasant, with privacy curtains. The view from the window and terrace is pure jungle. The guests were quiet despite facing a central walking street—no noise thanks to a closed door. The air conditioning ran from 6 PM to 10 PM. The host is extremely kind, and they have a pet named Rikitikitavi, a friendly “mongoose” that loves guests. There’s even a contact zoo on-site. Overall, a great experience!
A small downside: the bathroom is a bit of a walk at night.

Good location, great to have air con at night, staff were great, free coffee and water and one day there were biscuits(!), comfy pillow, good privacy curtains arpund the bed, nice soft bedding, sunset view from rooftop terrace, and the hostel didn't hike prices for peak season as much as many others
Bed was a bit hard, sometimes there was no soap at the sinks, bathrooms are rusting a bit, toilets strangely at the front of the stall, needs more surface space/shelves in bathroom and toilets cubicles, pretty bad shower water pressure
