you have your own cabin to sleep in, ac was working, delicious breakfast
location far out, up the hill, quite dark after sunset. if you don’t rent a scooter / travel alone as a woman, keep that in mind.
(15-20 mins walk from pier)
it‘s super loud 24/7 due to the huge power plant next to it.
If you’re looking for a place to relax, this is not it.
(also no chill area) techno blasting out of the speaker in the morning, at climbing/breakfast area
no running water on my second morning, toilets didn’t flush - imagine the smell in the morning from 6 ppl using it
bathroom / facilities gross!
from toilets to sink, dirty.
also couldn’t really help with ordering a taxi

Really cool hostel with e jungle feel to it. The rooms themselves were rugged feeling, but still clean and comfy. They do a great job cleaning them. I like that the toilets are separate from the rooms but still in the same block so you're only sharing with the people in your room. The climbing gym was pretty cool as well, the guy who sets them Tony is a really good boulderer, and you can tell he cares about the climbs he sets. It also comes with breakfest included and it has a great selection. Good, affordable hostel, would definately come back here again
I was sad that it closed at 8pm since I would've liked to stay in the common area and meet other people, but I understand the staff would want to go home ! But it's a great place to stay overall

Rooms so lovely and very private and clean
Slightly further out of town but still not too far of a walk

Julian on the front desk is a diamond!
The place was safe, clean, lots of space, comfy bed and they provide a great breakfast and it’s just enough away from the lively town. The window views from your bed are magical. Power station next door but it’s not a major issue. Also has a super cool climbing wall inside. Very lovely and attentive staff - loved it! Great place

Dorms are well set up with the bunks, storage and bathroom all in different sections of the cabin. Super friendly staff, towels and a lock all included. Bathrooms are also very clean with hot water in the showers. And a discount at the bunker cafe!!
The only downside would be the location if you didn’t have a scooter it is a 15 minute walk to the pier and 40 minute walk to Sairee beach. So defo rent a scooter and also make sure to bring bug spray!!!

I likes that there is a bouldering section as part of the facilities and customers can get a discount to use the facility
There were some inconveniences that the staff informed about before answered out of their control. There was a power outage, but along the whole island.
For the facilities, it was a little bit annoying to climbup the stairs, though the hostile is also on an incline

Absolutely everything was perfect! Loved everything. Good location. Clean. Air con worked well. WiFi worked. Staff were so friendly. Showers were hot & good pressure. Big lockers. Hanging rails in and outside. Love the design & jungle feel. Breakfast was incredible. The whole place is great.
That I couldn’t stay longer!

The best hostel I’ve seen in Thailand so far. The owners have thought of everything that matters in a hostel. It’s very quiet - the neighborhood, the guests it attracts, and even the design itself. Clean, super atmospheric (like a treehouse), and comfortable. On top of that, the owners are incredibly kind. You can also use the climbing wall, gym, and pool table. Highly recommended.

The view and location is phenomenal, the staff is friendly and the cleanliness is almost flawless. Only thing that could‘ve made the stay a little better is maybe hanging some mosquito nets on the balconies because there are a lot of insects outside.

The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast plate was plentiful. The staff was really helpful. I arrived during a storm, so being higher up the hill and trees was great. The other areas were significant, and the hostel near the main road was flooded.
The location is a bit far up the hill if you are walking - consider renting a scooter if you decide to stay.

Layout of the hostel was nice. The locker area had decent space so everyone put their bags there instead of by their beds in the room. It was easy to pack things without disturbing others and also not be disturbed as the rooms were fairly quiet as no one packed their stuff there. Beds were big and spacious, curtains were good. Little shelf at the end of the bed to put your stuff.
As someone who doesn’t ride a scooter, the location was terrible, up on a hill with not much around. But for people who ride scooters, I think it’s a good stay.

really cool spot up in the jungle, also partnered with a climbing wall if that's your thing (it is mine). the rooms are compact but cute, the view i had looked into the jungle which was great, i slept with the curtains open to wake up with the sunrise.
the showers clogged a lot in the dorm i was in. they could do with a proper deep clean. it's also next to a power plant which makes noise 24/7. i can sleep through anything, but bring earplugs if you can't.

AMAZING!!! Gorgeous location - great climbing wall. Great facilities and super social. Loved our stay here.

Like the style of the hostel. Climbing gym attached, made to sound as though it was free for people staying at the hostel, however must pay
Basically no common room. One small outdoors kitchen. Location requires a scooter. The hostel is next to the power plant for the island, so it is pretty loud and can hear it throughout the night

Looks good at night
So noisy from the island power station next door. Bad location. No water provided. Eaten alive by bugs

Team is really nice ! The bed is soft, room is quiet ( because you ve 2 spaces to store your bag AND to sleep ). Price is ok. I stayed 5 nights instead of 2. So so amazing. Love so much the view, the atmosphere!
There is Power electricity just near by, so either you got used with the noise either the team provide you free ear plugs. Maybe to be a bit cleaner.

The staff was really nice, they provided free water refills and a small communal area equipped with a kettle, so you could eat and prepare some basic meals like cup noodles or oatmeal.
The bed was very comfy and the lighting and big open windows created a spacious yet cozy atmosphere.
You also get some discounts on the associated bouldering gym and restaurant.
The location next to the power plant is unfortunate, they constant rattling of the generators can get to your nerves sometimes, but that being said, I personally didn't have any issues sleeping.
The bathroom could use some work, because of the used materials a lot of the wood is starting to rot :(
There was also no hot water, the toilets weren't cleaned at all during my 4 nights there and we experienced multiple power cuts during our stay (which regarding the location next to the power plant is a bit odd).
Also the lights outside stayed on the whole night and were pretty bright, which isn't really that great when you're trying to sleep :(

Beautiful place, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the common areas are great with small fridge and fan, there’s also water to to up your bottle.
Only but is a big one for me. The hostel is close to a energy plant that makes an awful noise 24/7, it’s like been close to a very busy bus station.

Beds were awsome to sleep in. Did seem at all that the room was filled with 8 people sometimes, really good space. Staff was really nice and helpful. In the middle of the island and just a quick walk to the pier. Close to many things.
Showers could be better

Good atmosphere, beds were comfortable and the room is surrounded by trees which is nice.
The hostel is located next to a power station which makes a noise 24/7 so you have to be aware of this

My second stay here. Lovely location tucked away in the jungle - bit of a slog up the hill with your backpack from the pier but only really a 10 minute walk to restaurants and so on. Lovely and quiet and the Bunker does good breakfast and coffee. Staff are really pleasant. Good size lockers for your bags.
Shower isn't the best - can be tricky to get it at the right temperature and the water goes everywhere. Not the worst I've ever had though! Not the place to stay if you want a really social, party place - there are plenty of those closer to the beach if that's what you're looking for. Other reviewers have mentioned the power plant next door - I didn't think it was that loud but they have free ear plugs just in case.

Amazing place, best location on the island, friendly and welcoming crew, great food and lots of activities to do with the greatest view !❤️

The hostel is amazing. It’s in the jungle, the dorms are super nice and clean. Also the staff is super nice and there is even a climbing gym.
The only thing is that the hostel is a bit far away, but if you have a scooter it’s not a big problem. It is not the biggest social hostel and not the place to be for partying, but if you are into sports/nature then I think it’s great.

Loved that the rooms have nature all around and individual curtains and windows. It was nice to keep my curtain open and wake up from natural sunlight which is not common in hostels. Nice if you just want to relax or rock climb. The room also had two toilets, two sinks and two showers for 6 people which was amazing! This hostel isn't too far from the piers
This is a bit far from the main part of town with the bars, popular restaurants etc but the island isn't particularly large so easy to skooter around but a bit far if you plan to walk everywhere. I just stayed at another hostel for the bulk of my time.

really comfortable beds, curtains covered the whole bed so you had privacy, the staff were really nice, and it’s a good location (only if you rent a motorbike). also, a very quiet hostel (if you are looking to socialize, this is not the place)
you can tell that the bathrooms are not cleaned every day and properly

The place is really nice, in a quiet place, the bed is really comfortable and you get your privacy. The staff is really nice.
Is a little far from where the things happen, but is manageable. I do recommend renting a scooter!

It’s up a hill and there’s a bit more to climb to get to your room. However, it’s quite cozy and has a unique tree-house aesthetic that stands out.
The location is not that good especially if you have activities near the pier. The hot water doesn’t work. And staff can be unresponsive at times.
