Seems like a chill place to socialize and make friends.

Room wasn’t clean. Bathroom was not clean at all. No towels provided. Staff guy not friendly. Private room door needs a curtain to block light. Floor needs a deep clean.

Great spot to stay in Koh tao, very comfortable and chill.

Very chill environment, the pool table is great and the garden.

The shower head wasn’t completely attached to the wall and fell down a few times when turned on.

Unsafe and Hostile – Got Robbed and Blamed

I stayed at this hostel from April 19th to 24th. On the morning of the 24th, I woke up to find my bag open and my money stolen. I went straight to the police to file a report, as anyone would do anywhere in the world. I returned to the hostel accompanied by the police, and instead of receiving support, the staff reacted with hostility and aggression. One of the employees (about 6'1", light brown curly hair, several earrings and tattoos) acted in a threatening and confrontational way, and a female staff member had to step in to calm him down. That same staff member accused me of lying, claimed the money "never existed," and told me to pack my things and leave. He even mocked me by saying not to forget a gold box or something like that, as if I had made the whole thing up. He insisted going to the police was pointless, showing a complete lack of empathy and professionalism. I can prove I had that money. And honestly, who would choose to spend their time dealing with the police and filing reports instead of enjoying a paradise beach—unless something truly serious had happened? ⚠️ I absolutely do not recommend this place. There's no safety, no support, and no basic human respect from the staff.

nice location among the trees with good food options nearby. walking distance from the port and other amenities. good areas to chill out, working aircon for rooms and nice staff.

Good location, but the bungalow private room is not worth the money.

Lovely helpful staff and decent common area with pool table.

The bungalow room had an uneven mattress with no top sheet and no AC. The uneven floor and ceiling were a bit unsettling and the wooden stairs were starting to decay

best time :)

this has been one of my favourite hostels of my trip, the vibe here is so friendly and welcoming with the staff hanging out with the guests it felt like a home. there’s a great social area downstairs where everyone hangs out or you can go upstairs to the sofas and beanbags to chill. yes it might be a little rough round the ages in the dorms but nothing awful

BED BUGS - when complained met with hostility and no care or change

Was really nice untill we relized our beds where infested with bed bugs. We saw lots coming out of the beds had to go sleep on the roof on bean bags others had to find another hostel in the middle of the night cause they were being bitten so much, i am covered in bites and now need deep clean all of our bags, got laundry done at the hostel but which will now need to be all re washed (refund not offered) .When we approached the staff in the morning they were very unapologetic and quite rude, they admitted they were aware of this issue and were working on it but did not think it would be necessary to warn guests, we were reluctantly offered one night refund and no apology. As we checked out business continued as normal as they checked more new unsuspecting guests into bug infested beds .Other than this a really lovely hostel most of the staff were really lovely but think the way they delt with situation was very poor and the whole situation was really discusting.

Great place for socializing but lacks maintenance/cleaning

The common areas and the bar/rest are lovely and ideal for socialising, and the staff is really nice and helpful. The location is also ideal if you aren't looking for tranquility, very close to the pier and next to lots of restaurants, pubs and other shops.

The dorm was really messy, small, poorly mantained and dirty (except for the sheets, that smelled great, and the matress was really comfy). Half of the lockers were broken, and no keys were provided. The bathrooms were ok but not really clean neither.

Good vibe in this hostel. The common room in the first floor is good. And the chill area in the second floor is nice. The AC will to the hole day.

Island life. Just chill'n

The staff were great. Always helpful . Garden and bar space is top notch . If you want a drink you can but you don't have to. A good Pool table. A good area to socialize and meet people . Air con good. Close to the main drag but far enough away as well. Free water. Rooms cleaned daily. They have dogs, friendly but if not your thing bare in mind. Do go and watch the sunset. The dock just down the hill is good.

If you hire a motor bike take pictures . Its a necessity on the island where ever you hire from . Not something I'd needed in Cambodia or Vietnam. They have good ladders but one of the few places where the bunks are 3 high.

it was surrounded by nature and there were a lot of welcoming common areas. Right outside the hostel there are many thai restaurants and the hostel is closed to the ferry station. If you stay there I suggest to go to the closed Rasta baby pub.

The staff were really lovely.

The first room the roof leaked when it rained the second room the air conditioning unit leaked on my bag and soaked every belonging I had!!! The showers the water pressure was very bad, came out as a dribble. The mattresses had springs that poked through!!!

The lady running the hostel is super nice and creates a welcoming atmosphere. The hostel is central, close to the pier, not in the party area, so it doesn’t get to loud at night.

Very nice

The hostel has very nice ambience for young travelers who seek to chat and have a good time with others. It has nice areas where you can sit and relax both outdoors and indoors. It’s a very nice property in a great location. The staff are very friendly and flexible.

It could improve when it comes to hygiene. The toilet trash bins were full most of the time with toilet paper overflowing and sometimes even wet due to the showers being right next to the toilets. Due to this it always smelled which made it unpleasant.

Highly recommended for a quiet stay and near the best beaches

The facilities are very clean, the staff is the most helpful and nice I have ever encountered, specially Fai Eveille. The vibes are very cool, like a small family for few days with staff and guests.

The only thing I didn’t like is the matress. It’s honestly very uncomfortable and old. Still good price for money because everything else exceeded my expectations.

Super nice staff, Faye is always doing an amazing job to keep the place fun and social, and Dao keeps everything running and organized. The food from the restaurant is 10/10, the location is great and the place is beautiful and has a great atmosphere while being budget friendly :) Cannot recommend this place enough.
