Comfortable, convenient

Nice little pods which provide good level of privacy. Kind and helpful staff, great that there is somewhere to refill water, and the showers had HOT WATER!

The blinds are ever so slightly see through but wasn’t a big issue! And just make sure not to bring any form of food anywhere near as there are already a few tiny ants about so you could only imagine what’d happen if you did!

Pleasant stay

The beds were spacious with a shelf to put your things. Quite comfortable. They also provide filtered water for no extra change.

The black pull down curtain at the end of the bed is see through. So be aware it’s not an area to change. Making changing times difficult if there are many people around. Shower seemed to always block, it didn’t drain very well. Leaving a musky smell in the showers.

Beautiful, comfortable, close to the pier

The property was very nice, clean, beautiful, comfortable and spacious.

I booked for 10 nights and ended up having to pay to stay at another hotel as well as paying for this one because the location was awful for a long stay with a child, especially since I don’t ride a scooter. For anyone else, it’s probably fine. But since it’s on the street with the pier, the food on the street is awful and overpriced. Everything about that street is bad. Its not safe to walk on the street, the shops are terrible. That street seems to only exist as a last resort for people staying the night before their ferry. Taxis are 400 baht each way, to anywhere, meaning I had to spend 800 baht each day to go anywhere peaceful on the island, and then I was stuck there all day. In the end it would have cost me the same amount at the accomodation each day. The accomodation itself is nice, but if u are travelling with a child and want to pop to the beach for a swim and walk peacefully I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lovely stay

Really lovely place in the perfect location as it’s literally a walk away from everything but nice a close to the pier. Room is really clean but if you leave food out or drinks there are a lot of ants but that’s the same as everywhere in Thailand.

Very nice private room

The private room was clean and very comfortable. We got water, coffee and clean towels every day. The location is also great, near the port but a short scooter ride to other parts of the island. We initially booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 8 days.

Comfortable and good value for the price

Spacious room. Good bathrooms. Solid cleaning daily by housekeeping. Great value compared to all other offers around the island. The rooftop chilling area had nice views of the sunset with electrical plugs to sit with your computer. It's a quiet property yet you can still meet new people because it has a few hostel dorm, even if we stayed in a private room. All the staff were helpful. Short walk from the ferry pier. Short walk to food and 711. And only 20 minutes walking from Sairee beach. Pleasant walk on the way there. The hostel can help you rent scooters cheaper than the other businesses we saw around.

Very aggressive owner

I had a very upsetting and humiliating experience at Nirvana Guest House. The last night, I got my period unexpectedly and stained the sheet. I did my best to clean it, but a mark remained. When I checked out, the owner suddenly started yelling at me in front of another guest — a man I had just been talking to. She told me I was disrespectful and asked how I could leave the sheet “like that” in front of him. I felt deeply embarrassed, vulnerable, and ashamed — not because of the stain, but because of how she treated me. It was a natural situation, and instead of showing any understanding, she publicly shamed me. Even the other guest told me later that she had also been aggressive toward him. No one should be treated this way. If you are a woman, please be cautious. I would never recommend this place. Her lack of empathy and aggressive behavior made me feel awful.

AC not working

The AC wasn't working, it turned itself off every few minutes and didn't cool at all! The night was very exhausting, the temperature was at like 30°C.

very comfortable bed with lots of privacy. the blind is slightly see through but with the black out curtains in the room its very dark. The aircon worked really well Great location, just up from the piere. I really liked the roof space and having a little kitchen up there is a bonus

The Wifi was patchy Only 1 toilet and one shower for 10 people is a bit tough. yo have to walk down to the other dorms bathrooms. That being said, they were very clean I checked out at 7am for the ferry but didnt get my key/towel deposit back as the office wasnt open. The option was to return these things the day before but I needed a key to get in my room as I came back after rception was closed and wanted to shower in the mornning. I think if the deposit is as much as a nights accom there should be away of getting it back especially as the ferries run at that time

Amazing

We booked a private room with a double bed. The room was perfectly clean, beautiful, and spacious upon arrival — the same goes for the bathroom. On top of that, the helpful staff provides regular room cleaning during your stay. You get fresh water and toilet paper every day. Even though the accommodation is located near a road, there’s no noise coming from it. There are many great restaurants, bars, and dive centers nearby. It’s also close to the pier. We originally planned to stay for just 3 nights, but ended up extending our stay to 7 nights. The lady working at the reception (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. They’ll help you rent a scooter for a great price, lend you snorkeling gear, and assist with booking transportation to your next destination. Thank you — I definitely recommend this place!

Great location on the road up from the pier. The room is spacious, well-lit and comfortable. I only had brief interaction with the staff but they were friendly.

The water pressure is incredibly low for both the taps and shower. It made washing generally a bit painful and more time-consuming.

Very cute place, cheap, and well located if you have a motorbike

The woman at the reception is perfect! I fell in love with her! Really close to the sea and the pier - 5 minutes walk!

If you don't have a motorcycle you are stuck...far from the center of the island and the restaurants it is not walking distance The toilets smelled of pee and there is no current in the shower, sometimes there is no hot water either :/

Great, specious bedroom at good location close to the pier, the dive schools and restaurants. They also change the towels every day.

Location is very good - 5 minute walk to/from the pier, the nearest beach, lots of shops, diving centers, places to eat around. The mixed dorm I was in was quiet, clean, cubicles are very spacious and private, lots of space to put your stuff on, because there's a wide shelf along the entire bed. Hot shower. Rooftop space to chill in, with a beach view. Staff is friendly and helpful. Water refills available. Hairdryers.

Nothing major, but having no fridge and having no access to water and kettle when the office is closed (this place is not 24/7) was a bummer.

location was great. close to restaurants, bike rental, dive schools and only a short walk to the pier. the room was spacious and clean, had working air conditioning and a hot shower. room was cleaned every day with fresh drinking water and toilet paper provided daily. staff were friendly and helpful. extended for an extra night and it was no problem. we were able to do laundry through the reception too.
