Good location, only four people per room, very nice staff, very clean facilities, free coffee, tea and water:).

One downside is that movement in the room is quite noticeable on the top bunk, which can be quite disruptive.

Filthy rooms, black mould, and aggressive upselling

We are travelling across SEA for 12 months, and after staying here for over a week, this is easily one of the worst accommodations we've found. The hygiene is shocking—we actually had to go to reception to complain because our 4-person dorm wasn't cleaned once in a whole week. The bathrooms are covered in black mould, the floorboards give you splinters, and the beds are rock solid. The cleaning staff are beyond inconsiderate. They constantly barge into rooms without knocking, talking loudly and leaving doors open, which kills the AC and makes the room humid immediately. Yesterday, they barged in openly wondering why my partner and I were still in bed, not realizing we had extended our stay. The only redeeming factor is the common area, but you can't actually relax there without staff constantly pestering you to buy scuba courses. They even boasted about taking diving boats out during a severe thunderstorm, which another local school confirmed was totally unsafe. Between the lack of cleaning, intrusive staff, and safety concerns, I would avoid this place.

The DPM Hostel was incredible! The cleanliness was excellent, everything was very well maintained. The value for money is amazing too, definitely worth it. When I arrived, the staff welcomed me warmly and were always attentive and helpful throughout my stay.

Just stayed at the Hostel and wow, what a gem! Super clean, great vibes, and the staff were ridiculously friendly the whole time. Plus, it’s really affordable, which is a huge bonus. The highlight? One of the days we had a barbecue and it was absolutely amazing! Felt right at home here definitely my go to spot next time.

Very nice!

Nice 4 bed dorm with bathroom included. The common areas are also cozy and you have free water/coffe/tea. Comfortable beds with curtain. We didn't do the diving course but we did a snorkel tour that was also cool. Totally recommend it.

Perfect for divers.

Comfortable beds, quiet to sleep, towels and shower gel provided. All the staff were so nice and friendly. Dormitories were quite large, and ensuite. Free water refills, hot and cold. If you are here to dive, I think you can't go wrong with this hostel, it's probably the nicest dive shop dormitory in Koh Tao.

Can't pay on card which was annoying. The lockers were tiny, as in same size as my foot tiny, (photo provided to show I'm not exaggerating 😂) luckily everyone in my dormitory was sound, but I can imagine that is not always the case. There is also no window, which is a shame. I am not sure that the pictures reflect how the dormitories look, but they are not bad, I just think the pictures might be outdated. Wasn't very social, I think it's because there wasn't really a social area for the hostel guest, except for the really nice diving shop, it looks like it was made over by Queer Guy. But seriously if I didn't already have my dive certs I would probably have got them here, they seem really nice and passionate about it, and safety, they even stopped one girl diving because of problems she was having with her ears, I thought that was really good.

The beds were comfortable. They play amazing music. Staff were lovely.

The division between beds are so thin. The location although very accessible is so close to the school. It tend to get so loud. The room I was in didn’t have sound proofing. Can here the noise from The outside. Can hear people talking so loud early in the morning.

The location where is located on the main street and is super easy to find. The front staff looked friendly and always show me a smile.

The bed sheet is not clean enough and makes me itchy. actually, I have been seeing the staff clean the bed after the customer left, and the bed sheet has no change. the curtain was closed all day and made the room dark.

The staff was just the best. Fantastic vibe, everyone is so helpful, accommodating and always there for you. The atmosphere was honestly 11/10

I didn’t love the rooms. They could be updated and cleaned better. Bathrooms were really not ok. I did have a major issue with my bed which was in fact immediately resolved although I chose to leave earlier than planned. While I thought I was getting my value for money with the diving course there are certainly better deals available locally.

Staff was very accommodating. Had an issue with withdrawing money and they allowed me to pay later. They offer diving packages that many seem to enjoy although I did find significantly cheaper elsewhere despite their guest promotion. Common areas seem like nice chill spots.

Not negative but the hostel veeeery heavily caters towards Spanish tourists. Location is not the best: it’s halfway between Sairee and the Pier but not super close to either.

the beds were comfortable and it’s nice they don’t turn off the aircon in the middle of the day as I was ill and needed to stay in during my stay. they have a cool lounge area with complimentary tea, coffee and water, and there’s a shop just next door for your craving fixes.

the bathrooms were atrocious. crawling with millipedes and just the flooring has this awful netting on it so god knows when they were last cleaned. the property comes with no soap and all the sinks I used were loose, just an overall fragile state of ceramics in this place.

It was spacious, clean, had AC, was quite for the night, had everything but a kitchen or even just a fridge to store something.

The one lady staff who just always said NO to anything I asked and was unhelpfully and unwilling to help in any way. However the other staff were nice and kind and accommodating and I just decided to approach them than the one lady

great vibe, but only really for divers!

great vibe, perfect place to complete any diving course and meet likeminded people

on the first night my bedding was clearly not changed and i was told I had to spend the second night with unclean bedding before they had more to change it. this was NOT okay and I made that clear but no effort was made to satisfy me. i could not leave as I was completing a course and had already paid a lot of money.
