Nice stay with lovely staff.

Clean and roomie beds that weren’t bunk beds. The staff were so lovely.

The shower on the top floor is just a toilet with a tiny space for a shower.

Great location, nearby the port

The location is great if you want to spend time near the port (although this is not where the action happens). The staff is lovely and willing to help out, even when it's not directly related to your stay at the property.

The beds are so not comfortable at all. The room's a bit weird. I stayed in a non-ac room, and not all beds had access to windows. The door to the room would not shut (essentially, everyone could've entered the room).

Really uncomfy beds and the room was very cold which would’ve been okay if there was more than a paper thin blanket. It’s also quite a noisy hostel so not much sleep had.

If you're looking for a fun, social, and unforgettable experience, this is the place to be! From the moment I arrived, the energy was incredible. The staff were super friendly and made everyone feel welcome, and the whole vibe was perfect for meeting other travelers. Every night there was something going on—bar crawls, themed parties, games, and music. It’s the ideal spot if you want to have a good time and connect with people from all over the world. Despite the party atmosphere, the rooms were still clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet when you needed to rest.

While my overall experience was fantastic, there are a couple of small things that could make it even better. The bathrooms could be cleaned a bit more frequently during busy hours

Worth the money!

Staff were lovely and amazing! Bed so comfy and toilets are clean. There's bar at night gives us a chill vibe and shout out to Benny and Thee that's make my stay enjoyable. The property is walkable to plenty restaurants around, pharmacy just right at the opposite side of the street and 7-eleven only 1-minute walk.

Ok but Never gonna come back here

We upgraded to a air con room easily so the room was good temp and the beds were fine. The man that checked us in was nice.

Pretty much everything else - firstly the water didn’t work for pretty much the whole stay which meant I couldn’t shower for three days. - the staff were nonchalant and not very friendly. - the staff were sleeping in our room which would have been ok they were barely sleeping they were coming in and out of the room chatting and turning the lights on and off ALL NIGHT LONG till about 3:30am. Then from like 7:00-8:30am their alarm was going off every 10 mins until i eventually opened their curtain and told them to either get up or turn it off. Which was so awkward and then I struggled to go back to sleep. Which is all ironic as one of their rules is to be quiet in the dorm. - also we were just sat chatting on my bunk and both of the staff came in together and told us we’re not allowed to have s*x which we weren’t and it made it really uncomfortable as both staff were just stood at the end of my bed. Like why can’t we just sit there. Then saw it’s a rule that if u break you have to pay 5,000 so felt like they were tryna make us pay extra for something we would never do in a dorm !

TOURIST BEWARE! I was scammed by the Thai managing person at the Loft!

Nothing much apart from the location wise.

I got scammed by the managing person at the hostel, and he's a local Thai guy. I rented a bike from Loft hostel for 200 baht per day, as the Thai managing person promised. When I returned the bike on my last day, I was charged 250 baht daily, p/s: I rented it for six days. I was surprised and only discovered that the bike I received/rented wasn't from Loft but from another shop without my acknowledgment. Later, I was asked to pay 1,000 baht for the damage to the bike. I was in total shock and speechless. The past 6 days, I've been cautious and know I have never damaged the bike. The bike was clearly not brand new, and someone must have used it before me; it had some minor scratches, and that's pretty normal too. And I discovered I was not the only “tourist” falling into the same tactic. SO, BEWARE! Overall, the incident was sketchy, and the dishonest responses of the Thai guy I dealt with and argued with were disgusting.

Great Value for Money, recommend to young travelers.

Location was very close to pier and had everything you need around you. Staff were amazing, can easily organize trips and activities for you. They also got everyone involved with activities including drinking games and quizzes in the evening. Would definitely highly recommend this hostel to any travelers going to Koh Tao. Great value for money.

quiet but cosy and vibrant

the property was right next to the pier so we only had to walk 3 minutes to the hostel upon arrival. We got a free cocktail as we stayed for 4 nights which was nice and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The personal bed space was large and had a side board where we could leave all our personal items. We didn’t have aircon but each bed had its own fan and we were in the room upstairs which didn’t have bunk beds- something we really appreciated.

There is a balcony but there wasn’t much space on it- but that is being picky. To get to the main bar we had to walk 15 minutes along a path/ track but that was fine

the location is really good, very close to the pier just 2 mins by walk, stay 3 night get 1 free cocktail

the bed is very old... spring loses elasticity. so and the spring are lose the they put the music very loud at night, when you try to talk to people, will because of the music can't really hear each other, and it's not a club for dancing so don't really know why they do that in the hostel? The music will keep that loud until 10pm or even late.

I was in Thailand 2 Months and I must to admit that this hostel is the best hostel in I ever been in Thailand, the staff was amazing, and sanitary in the room was great! In addition the vibes in the hostel is so friendly, it is nice to meet good people there, so if you are single traveler this is excellent choice for you.

Las camas en forma de cápsula con cortina estaban genial. Hay fiesta y música hasta ciertas horas, pero te avisan de que es un hostel con bar y música. Tú decides! Nosotros estuvimos genial!!! En la habitación con AC.

Hormigas en la cama: se avisa que nadie entre comida, supongo que alguien llevo, porque había un camino que pasaba por mi cama. Cucarachas en el baño. Utilizaban métodos para matarlas, pero aún así habían algunas, por la noche cuando ibas al WC.
