The staff was friendly.

There was a lot of humidity in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep, and there was a musty smell because of the dampness. There was no cold water. The place feels a bit sad and neglected.

Chill, clean and great value for money

Very great value for money! Out the way of the main party of town but near some beautiful beaches! Was close enough to the centre and a really chill location. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend for a good price in Koh Tao.

Private balcony was great. Spacious. Comfy bed. Lovely lady working there.

Paid for air conditioned room, however when we got there we were told it was 200 bhat extra a day which we decided against. Room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Fan didn’t do the job.

Great stay

Nice quiet location, but not far from everything you need! Bike rental shop close to the hostel, also can rent from the hostel, helped us book a taxi to the pier at the end of our stay Staff were lovely and helpful.

Our room was quite hot with no aircon but we were offered to upgrade so no fault of the hostel, we were just on a backpacking budget lol

Stunning hotel & balcony view, great staff, unreal location

This hotel was amazing! Balcony with a stunning view, comfy spacious room, very nice and clean, and you can do laundry there too which is a great price. Really nice and helpful staff. Location was perfect too! Super close to cafes, restaurants, convenience stores etc as well as close to hikes/beach

Good stay

We liked the fact that we could make our own breakfast in a (truly) basic kitchen. We were greeted well and accommodated quickly as we came very early from the night ferry, which was very nice. The location is not in the centre, but there were plenty of local restaurants nearby and you could rent motorbikes nearby to get around the island.

Good value for money in a calm but great surrounding

I liked the location very much, it was a 15 minutes walk away from the pier. Moreover, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. What I also liked very much was the inner court yard where I could practice yoga in the morning and the calm surrounding, although situated in a crowded area. The location between pier and Freedom beach was perfect and there is a beautiful viewpoint close - make sure you check out the bar on the top! Good value for money (I had a private room).

The bathroom could have been cleaner. Different from other guests, I appreciated not having an AC (since I caught a cold some days before), but I heard that the rooms up on the first floor were quite hot.

Sandra was lovely & very helpful as we upgraded to air con room as room with fan was still far too hot.

there is no maid so our room wasn’t made in 6 nights that we stayed there but apart from that everything was good.

Quite out of town, but if you rent a scooter it's alright! Rooms are clean and basic, good value for the price you pay. Could get quite stuffy, but it's April in SE Asia! Bathroom was okay. All very clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms stink of mould. The refrigerator in the room heats the room temperature above that of outside! Air conditioned rooms were double the price. The doors have a wide enough gap beneath them to allow insects and lizards into the room.

Awesome rooms and location

Rooms is awesome, super big and comfortable. Location is just 1.5 km from the pier and the journey down there is full of great places to eat (most of them cheap and tasty).

the location is not very good, unless you rent a bike everything is way to far away. if you want to have an ac in the room make sure it’s written in the room’s description, if not it’s an extra charge of a few hundred bat per night

The rooms were very large and clean, more like apartments and ensuite was handy. A very quiet location, so not a social hostel however we enjoyed the quiet. I would strongly suggest renting a scooter if your staying here as about a 20 min walk to the centre

For the price it’s a really good place , simple but good

the room is small but you have everything what you need, also a fridge what is really good- can cook. the people from there were really friendly :)

Lovely room with good AC and hot water. big fridge & wardrobe in our room. There is facilities to cook food too The woman who runs the place is so lovely we really enjoyed our stay but just be aware that there are nearly roosters who like to wake you up early!

Budget effective but

The location is not too bad. Very close to action. Not close to the metro but you can walk or try the bus if not rush hour. The young guy running the hostel is a good fella. Once you get to know him, he is great. Cheers buddy. In general, for what is possible, the place is kept clean. The common area is nice. Pool table and few benches and tables create the right environment for social interaction. Quality price is good... Because price is not high.

The room is tiny. Toilets are all pretty rundown. No hot water in the toilet on my floor and not real hot water in the toilet upstairs. Luckily it was warm and I don't mind a cold shower.

We did not get what we paid for, it felt like we got scammed.

Very big room, that has everything you need in it.

The owner advertised breakfast and a balcony which we both did not get. They, too, were not open to negotiate a reduced price of 15% less because of these shortcomings. The owner did not seem to care and tried to convince us that the Information listed on Booking.com was not up to date. The room did feel like a basement as we also did not have the advertised window. It was uncomfortable with cold light. Unfortunatley we did not enjoy our stay here.
