Villa Oasis Oia with Caldera View

This accomodation was better than we hoped. It's so incredibly cute and well appointed. The host and his family all contributed to our visit and we loved our stay. The location is remarkable. It couldn't be more central and we dropped down to street level and were instantly amongst the village attractions. The view from the rooms and deck is excellent offering perhaps 120 degrees of unbroken view of the caldera. Most important, it offers another 90 degrees of the sunset and ocean, above all the tourists hanging onto the edges for a glimpse. Amazing and a credit to the host.

The property is newly developed, so they have some simple and obvious loose ends which they're working on. You do get a little noise from the street, but it's no problem and atmospheric. There are building works (dormant) that when complete will shape the eventual views from the West deck, but there's view to spare so no issue. We perhaps would have liked a little washing machine.

This is a wonderful place and Dimitris is an excellent host. I looked at many places and chose this in large part because it is filled with light (unlike cave houses) and sits above the main pedestrian walkway so you have the rare (in Oia) combination of a fantastic view (especially from the HUGE wraparound terrace) and privacy. It is above his mother's wine store and his sister's spa, both of which I visited and enjoyed. Once we arrived and saw how many of the cave houses are situated so people constantly walk right in front of your space (or into it, as people simply ignore signs about not entering private areas to improve their photo angle by 0.0002%), I was even happier we chose Villa Oia, where we were 15-20 feet above the action). The space itself is very comfortable and well-stocked. If you have any hesitation based on the loft bedrooom, we did not have any problem and we are both 66. There are a fair number of stairs to get into the Villa, but if that is an issue, Oia is probably not a great destination. Demitis arranged our pick-up at the ferry (and to the airport when we left), met us at a location very close to the house (another plus compared to many other options: it's a short a walk from the main drop-off point), helped us with our luggage, and gave us a good orientation to the house and the area. While we were there, he was gracious. charming, very responsive and helpful. He arranged a car rental that picked us up at a nearby location and cost 1/4 of what I had seen on-line (which would have required a 50 euro cab to/from the airport). It was a very different experience from renting from Hertz, but it was all fine for driving around the island for a day, which I recommend unless you are an anxious driver. He also got us into a restaurant that I couldn't get through to. A wonderful experience. I would definitely rent again and recommend to my friends. If it's in your budget, rent it.

Everything was perfect, only thing which we were missing was breakfast, of-course in fully equipped kitchen, we could have cooked it as well but like other luxury places, if there is breakfast facility then it will the best

This villa was absolutely amazing, from start to finish and over the 3 nights we stayed there we had the most wonderful time!! Dimitri met us where the taxi dropped us off and took us to the villa. He was so incredibly helpful and informative and nothing was too much trouble for him. He even wanted us to let him know if there was anything at all that could help to improve our stay....there was not! Everything was exceptional, we also met Dimitri's Mum and sister. The whole family helped to make our stay so special. The jazuzzi on the huge terrace area was to die for with incredible views over Oia town. Would love to come back and stay another time and would definitely recommend this villa to anyone wanting an amazing holiday in Oia. A big thank you to Dimitri and family!!

Absolutely nothing!!

We liked everything! The location was central to all of the sites, shops and restaurants in Oia. The property was recently remodeled and is adorable. The host Dimitri helped us book transport to and from the airport, helped with luggage, booked dinners and boat cruise for us and advised on tours. The wrap-around private balcony with a jacuzzi and views of the Caldera was incredible. We wanted a rental that was not a tiny cave. We also wanted more space for a 5 day stay with a great view. I highly recommend this place!

Nothing. We travel all over and I can honestly say I had no complaints at all about this rental.

Absolutely everything. The location - was central and easy to get to everything you needed but just away from the main hustle and bustle. its higher up so you have privacy and you never feel like people could see into your property. You are just off the main strip of restaurants and a short walk to the best restaurants and bars. The property is conveniently located above the best massage studio in all of Santorini and a beautiful little store - a must try!! The view - unobstructed view of the sunset. The view that other tourists wait hours to secure their spot, all yours and private from your wrap around terrace. the sunrise and sunset view is breathtaking and i could argue it is the best view you can get from all of Oia. At night, the view is just as beautiful and you can see all the way to Fira across the water. The amenities - This beautiful properly was so thoughtfully decorated and the interior design is absolutely amazing. The jacuzzi, with a view! The jacuzzi was one of the best features to have during the hot summer. The property was kept clean and tidy with the host coming to check on the jacuzzi and did housekeeping while we stayed for 5 nights. the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for simple cooking. The bed was very comfortable with pillows that screamed luxury! Robes were provided and they were the perfect attire for the sunset when it was windy. The hosts - No doubt, this was the best part of the trip. From the moment we got off the plane we received a message from Dimitri to make sure we landed safely and to ask if we needed anything. He jumped on the phone with our Taxi as he was a little lost and so kindly directed him to the right part. Dimitri was friendly, informative and kind hearted. He made sure we had all the right information and had the perfect balance of giving you space but kindly checking in ever so often to make sure you were ok and had everything you needed.

Nothing - I almost didn’t want to write a glowing review for fear that this place would book out the next time we want to come. But Dimitri and Daphne deserve all the success in the world and we can’t keep this gem hidden. We can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely amazing! Beautifull apartament with incredible two sides views. The best localization in Oia - You are in center but you have privacy. Owners were the kindest, welcoming people. Taking care about us like a good friends. Place perfect clean, very cozy and luxury. First class in all details like fresh flowers, top cosmetics, wine in fridge or beautifull lux furniture. You can feel like a VIP - Just perfect! Jacuzzi is a bomb! Surprise: In real apartament is more amazing than on photo. The best travel experience ever had. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!!!

We liked absolutely everything about the property. If I could give it an 11 I would. It’s location was spectacular with views exactly how they’re shown in the pictures. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The location was so convenient and simple. everything is brand-new. It’s decorating is impeccable. The service was above and beyond. and unbeknownst to us there was a spa on the first floor. it wasn’t advertised so it was a nice surprise. The owners are a Mom,Daughter and Son trio and they treated us like they had known us forever. They are so nice and accommodating.

Huge terrace with amazing view of both the village and sunset - you really get the best view in Oia with this villa! Also, the inside is spacious and cosy, I loved the interior design, thought and detail put into it.

To be honest - nothing. We loved it!

O proprietate incantatoare. Esti exact in centru, cu o vedere panoramica exceptionala. Din balconul amenajat foarte confortabil, dintr un pat cu baldachin sau din jacuzzi, care este tot pe terasa, poti admira atat rasaritul, cat si apusul, pentru care vin majoritatea vizitatorilor in Oia. Interiorul este fermecator, tipic grecesc, insa cu tot ce poti avea nevoie. Gazda are o mare grija la detalii. Foarte curat. Un plus, gazda ne a invatat sa incalzim apa din jacuzzi pentru seara si a fost minunat sa vedem noaptea luminile insulei din jacuzzi. Aproape de restaurante, magazine si puncte de interes. Am beneficiat si de serviciile profesioniste ale salonului stilat de masaj de la parterul locatiei. Fiind o proprietate cu nota 10 am fost curiosi si ne am prelungit sederea de 5 zile in Fira cu inca doua zile aici. Mentinem nota 10, proprietatea o merita!
