Callista Villa

Location was excellent. Near sunset point, restaurants and market. The most unique, and picturesque place we have ever stayed at. The most relaxing place, to take in the beautiful views. The kitchen being on the outside of the main sleeping quarters was a plus. There was no need to tackle the crew ship crowds during the day. Venturing out in the evening to shop and go for dinner was peaceful.

The property was in the heart of oia, the most beautiful town in santorini, and it was like an oasis from the touristic part. It is very private. Amazing experience of living in a “cave” Style vila, everything was modern, clean and the person that was taking care of us, Anastasia, made our holidays even perfect by taking care of restaurants reservations and tours. We didn’t have to worry about anything, just enjoy all time. The vila is super nice. We traveled with our kids, who thought we were in a star wars movie. So unique this type of property

Incredible experience! I booked this holiday for my sister's birthday present as Santorini was her dream... Where to start explaining how amazing this place is?! Firstly we booked airport transfers directly through the accommodation. George met us at the airport and was absolutely lovely. We were then greeted by Zina who helped us amble down the winding streets to the villa (a colleague also carried our luggage). Upon arrival my sister burst in to tears at how incredible the villa looked and the view over the Caldera. Zina gave us a tour of the cave villa and pointed out all of the features including complimetary water, wine and fruit and then sat down with us and a map to recommend restaurants, places of interest and excursions - she added me on WhatsApp and sent all of the places we had discussed over a text. Every day we had a text from Zina to see how we were getting on and an offer to book restaurants and activities (highly recommended as places - particularly sunset spots - book up fast!) Special shout out to Roula, our housekeeper for the week. A wonderful kind and friendly woman who did an amazing job all week, despite the language barrier we had a lots of laughs and chit chat. Future guests, please tip her generously, she deserves it! We arranged through Zina's recs a visit to a Greek night in Akrotiri, filled with music, dancing and plate smashing which was amazing! George was our driver again and we enjoyed catching up with him. On the last night, Zina bought us cakes and biscuits which was a lovely touch. On the day we left, we took the last pictures of the Caldera and had selfies with Zina, she made our experience one that will last a lifetime so we had to! Everyone we encountered at Calista Villa was exceptional from the moment I booked and communicated with Charis, to the beautiful Zina, our drivers George and John, the lovely guys who attended our hot tub and carried our luggage. Nothing was too much trouble!

Callista Villa is the most amazing property we have ever stayed in. Zina met us at the meeting point, 2 helpers carried all of our suitcases down all the stairs to the property. Zina could not have been more helpful during our stay. She checked in with us every day, made reservations at local restaurants for us, booked our catamaran tour, even offered to drop off some medicine when one of us became unwell. My mother left her watch behind when we checked out, and Zina immediately went and found it and posted it back to us. Her service was amazing. The accomodation was more than we could have ever expected - the view is incredible. Thank you very much Zina.

Incredible view and privacy from patio and hot tub, but still very convenient to main pedestrian street. Wonderfully helpful and responsive host, Anastasia. She helped make our stay so easy!

Shower didn’t drain quickly. Can’t access kitchen without going outside to patio.

Our host Anastasia is extremely welcoming and caring. She is available anytime for questions and suggestions. There were many people who helped us with the luggage. The property is well maintained, clean and the view was fantastic. The hot tub was a bonus. Would love to come back here.

Maybe add more light inside the bathroom infront of the sink and add a dine table inside the room as well.

We loved everything so much! From the hot tub to the location of the property and everything else in between it was the best! Not only is it a place to stay but the hosts care so much about you and your stay as well as giving you ideas of everything there is to do and see.

This is a very nice cave appartment in Oia, with an amazing view on the Caldera. Everything clean, everything working perfectly. The jacuzzi is super.

Tall people should be careful as the door is quite low and the bed is just 2m.

The property was extremely beautiful and clean. It was in the perfect location, secluded/private with an amazing view. The jacuzzi was great to relax in, and we were within walking distance to many sights/shops/restaurants.

We enjoyed everything about this property.

The host, Natasha, is very professional and nice. All arrangements including transfer, luggage storage, restaurants suggestion are bravo!

Location is in the center of Oia

this property was beautiful, comfortable, and in the perfect location. It has two single beds in the main area and a TV. It has a bedroom with a single bed and a master bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable! Everything was perfectly clean! The staff will help you anytime you need. the hot tub has the best View of the caldera. You are just a few steps away from watching the sunset at the castle or watching the sunset from the windmills. If you are a tall person over 6 feet you will have to duck in a lot of the spaces. also the bedrooms have glass windows into the main living area. We just put a towel up for privacy bc my teenage boys were in the main area and I wanted to change in my bedroom. It really is the best location!

The master bathroom has a sink in the shower. Which seems awesome until you have socks on and want to brush your teeth and your feet get wet. lol.

Location is exceptional, in the very heart of Oia but in a quiet and private area. Anastasia and Giannis were super hosts, taking care of our luggage, arranging our transfers and giving good advice for restaurants. The view form the house and the jacuzzi is breathtaking. The level of service is worth a 4-star hotel, do not hesitate to book!

Fantastic views from the interior, hot tub and external dining area. Compared to other properties, plenty of privacy. For three people the interior was quite spacious and the 2 toilets / showers were a bonus. Cute kitchen attached to the cave, 3 steps from the buolding entrance with everything we needed. Decent AC and wifi so nothing to complain in that respect. we were permitted with an early check in and late check out (perhaps easier to provide due to low season) which was much appreciated and showed a good attitude from the owner. Host appeared very well informed and eager to please. even helped with printing airplane boarding tickets. There are quite a few steps to the property as with most in Oia so it might not be the best property if you have young children but with a double bedroom, a seperate single bedroom and 2 sofa beds it was perfect for us as a couple with a 14 year old.

Nothing. You get what you pay for with this property. We stayed in larger, more expensive properties during our trip and Oia Sea Cave was probably priced about right. No negatives, plenty of positives.
