We got the ambassador villa with the private pool and everything was lovely! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous and plentiful as well. The perfect stay! You are located in the heart of Oia with a partially obstructed view of the picturesque white villas from your immediate terrace but it adds privacy and the view is one step out! Highly recommend staying here overall.

We recently stayed at this property in Oia and were extremely disappointed, especially considering the steep price tag.
The biggest issue was a 12-hour power outage. While we understand the outage was beyond the hotel’s control, the way the situation was handled by the staff was unacceptable. There was no effort to assist guests or make accommodations, nor was there any offer of partial compensation for the significant inconvenience. We were left without lights in the room, no air conditioning on a hot night, no ability to shower with hot water, and unable to use the private pool in the evening — which was the main reason we booked this property.
On top of that, the property itself was not well maintained. The outdoor areas and furniture were dirty and covered with cat urine and feces, which made it unpleasant to sit outside and completely diminished the advertised “luxury” feel.
When we raised these issues after our stay, the hotel refused to offer any goodwill gesture or refund. Their response was dismissive, essentially telling us that because the outage wasn’t their fault, they bore no responsibility for the fact that the amenities we paid for were unavailable.
For the price, we expected a high level of service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this hotel fell far short in every respect. There are many other beautiful properties in Santorini — I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
