Great location to stay at to beat the Oia blue domes crowd

Great location if you want to see the Oia blue domes. 2 min walk to the picture spots so very easy to beat the crowds early in the morning. Toilet needs a bidet since flushing down toilet paper is not allowed on the island. Note that even if you book the room with the caldera view with the plunge pool, it is not entirely private since the people that are staying in the upstairs suite has access to the same exterior door right beside your plunge pool, and their window looks down into your plunge pool area. Not a big deal but just a good note for people wanting privacy.

No bidet available with the toilet, and flushing down toilet paper is not allowed

Excellent location, friendly staff. Beautiful sunrise and sunset views.

Hidden costs- towels changed every 3 days "for environmental reasons", if you want changed before that you pay €25 per person. For over €3000 for 7 days this is dissapointing and a needless extra. We didn't actually get fresh towels for 4 days as no cleaners came on second last day. This also meant we ran out of toilet roll.

paradise, amazing views and sunset, wonderful. Felt like royalty!

The location was the best in the whole of that part of the island. Other people wanted to take pictures and were amazed at how we had the place. The staff looked after my son and his new wife who were celebrating their honey moon. They felt like a king and queen!

Location can't be beaten.

This intimate cave is perched right on the cliff with a spectacular view of the caldera. The jacuzzi was so relaxing after a day of walking and touring. It's also protected from the wind. The rooftop apartment has an enviable view of the sunset with a private balcony. We loved the service and location.

The porter didn't arrive to take our bags on arrival so we had to carry our suitcases up and down cobbled lane ways to reach the room. It wasn't a great distance but we were already exhausted from travelling. The room doesn't have any coffee facilities, only 1 wine glass, 1 champagne glass, limited kitchen utensils and a flimsy bottle opener. Jacuzzi was dirty on arrival and cockroach in bathroom.

Stay in the perfect location in Oia

We fell in love with this gorgeous hotel in Oia, Santorini – perched atop the caldera with breathtaking sunset views. Though cars can’t reach the doorstep, the staff promptly collect your luggage from the drop‑off point. The room exudes authentic cave‑house charm and matches the photos perfectly—spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. The team was incredibly helpful, swiftly accommodating all our requests. The iconic blue‑domed churches, shops, and eateries just a short walk. There is a small castle nearby where you can get a 360 degree view

Very nice experience

The location is fantastic—just a stone’s throw from the iconic castle of Oia. In the mornings, you can even hear traditional Greek music, which adds a lovely, authentic touch to the experience. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The only downside is the number of tourists passing by, which means you might overhear conversations while relaxing in the hot tub and taking in the breathtaking sea views. However, the overall experience at Sophia Castle View more than makes up for it.

The view was amazing!! We had the top room with little balcony. Great location! We got help to walk our luggage from drop off and pick up area

There were some bugs and a cockroach. It crawled underneath our kitchenette and couldn’t get it out!! We messaged them for help but was told that the cliff area will sometimes have it. It took awhile but scary as it was scurrying around our room so fast! We couldn’t sleep because we thought there was more and couldn’t get one of them out fast enough

perfect property and location

driver was 40 minutes late to pick us up for our prepaid return trip to the airport. Almost missed the plane and had to end a perfect trip with the tremendous stress of potentially missing a plane and ruining the rest of the honeymoon. The good news: We didn’t miss the plane. As long as the driver shows up on time, this is a perfect place to stay! Awesome

An exceptional apartment and great service overall. The property management took care also of my transport to and from the airport, there is a helpline / reception that will also take care of every of your needs. Had one of the most friendly check-in experiences. The apartment is wonderful, your location cannot be more central and the views from every window have been breathtaking. Everything is in a walking distance - restaurants, shops, landmarks. I am definitely recommending this apartment.

Sophia Castle View was the perfect place for us to stay on our honeymoon.

Sophia Castle View was an absolutely wonderful property for our honeymoon. There might not be a better location in Oia! It’s a charming and comfortable cave house with an updated bathroom, a balcony with the best view in Oia, and a kitchenette. The property manager and other staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was brought to us in takeout containers every morning to enjoy on our balcony. It was fabulous and a lot of food! The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. I still cannot get over the view. We felt like royalty as we watched the sunset on our balcony with glasses of wine as everyone else packed in on the steps and streets below.

Felt like a film star staying here! Best view for the sunset, if you can cope with being above a huge crowd, in your own terrace, exposed to all, drinking fizz,then this is the place for you! What a magical moment !

Everything was awesome. Beautifully located in the heart of Oia, it had stunning Caldera sea view and great facilities. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. They gave us complimentary wine as well. It was a beautiful experience.

Absolutely beautiful location and excellent staff

One cannot ask for better location, enjoying the sunset view from balcony with a bottle of welcome drink, spectacular view and amazing staff - temporary storage our luggage before the room ready for check-in, transporting our luggage to the room, and arranging taxi to airport. Thank you Tony.

A very small thing not big deal , the cleaning lady forgot to leave soap for hand wash , and second day she give us 2 shampoo but not body gel, maybe check a little bit more careful next time . The rest all good

The location is amazing! It offers breathtaking views of both Oia’s traditional houses and the sunset over Amoudi Bay, or even sunrise over the Caldera. It is located in a pedestrian area, 5 meters away from the Castle, and it’s just a short walk from the parking lot, about 5 min. Everything looks exactly like in the pictures, or even better. The room has all the facilities you need: coffee machine, hairdryer, iron etc. There was everyday cleaning service and beach towels were also provided. Breakfast was a plus! They deliver it every morning and you can choose between some options, we tried all of them and all were great. Last but not least, the staff was very attentive and responsive, they communicated with us all the time and were very prompt whenever we had a request. They made our stay very comfortable and carefree!!
