The location was great. They cleaned our apartment every day and I loved that! Highly recommended!

We arrived late at the apartment (our flight was delayed), advice for the owners, I hope they won't be angry (:)) put 1 bottle of water in the refrigerator (tap water is not drinkable).

Great location to has as a base.

Great location, just a few steps from center of Oia, but not noisy at all.

The A/C in the double bedroom smells bad when working below 22 C, so it’s either freezing cold, or damp moisture smell when working. Definitely needs some updating. The electric appliances are very old too. In general it was not bad for our short stay, but quite uncomfortable for longer ones.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of Oia

Staying at Alafouzos Cave House was truly an unforgettable experience. Located right in the center of Oia village, the house offers breathtaking views of the Caldera and the iconic volcano of Santorini—waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream. Just a short walk from the famous Oia Castle, we were able to enjoy the world-renowned Santorini sunset from one of the best spots on the island. The cave house itself is beautifully maintained, combining traditional charm with modern comforts. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect for exploring Oia’s picturesque alleys, shops, and restaurants. A special thank you to Konstantinos, the owner, and Yannis, our wonderful host, for their warm hospitality and helpful recommendations. They made us feel right at home and ensured everything about our stay was perfect. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the magic of Santorini in style and comfort!

Excellent..!

We found Konstantinos’s place to the be the perfect way to experience Santorini. Upon arrival, we were greeted with help carrying our luggage. It was spacious, clean, and extremely close to all of the action in Oia. We especially loved how close it was to the sunset lookout. The hot tub was an amazing touch and we were please to find out that it was actually hot since we stayed in end-April so it was low 60s F. The terrace felt warm under the sun regardless of the temperature. The view from the front terrace of the city and the caldera alone was worth the every penny. He offered recommendations and help if we needed to get places. It was a perfect location. Gorgeous and quiet. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and a better time. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was just like the movie and pictures that show Santorini. Thank you to Konstantinos and Giannis for your help!!!

Τα παντα ήταν τέλεια!! Πεντακάθαρα και φανταστική θέα!! Ο ιδιοκτήτης ο Κωνσταντινος με υποδέχτηκε στην ώρα του με χαμόγελο!! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!! Οταν θα ξαναπάω στην Σαντορίνη θα μείνω σίγουρα πάλι εκεί!
