Still a Paradise in the Off-Season!

Morfi Cave Houses was a wonderful place to stay in Santorini. The location is fantastic, the space was perfect for our family of four, and everything was comfortable and well thought out. The owner/operator, Elizabeth, was incredibly kind and attentive. Even before and during our stay, she sent us very helpful and detailed recommendations for places to visit around the island. Since we visited in December during the off-season, this was especially valuable—it helped us know exactly which restaurants, shops, and sites were open before heading out. Santorini in the off-season was absolutely magical: cooler weather, stunning views, and all the iconic photo spots without the crowds. Morfi Cave Houses was the perfect home base to experience it all. Highly recommend both this property and visiting Santorini during the quieter months—it’s still an incredible paradise.

Loved the cave house

The manager met us at the drop of the transport and helped us with the luggage and getting to the place. Then she explained how to work everything. We felt like we were stars :) She also helped us book a sunset dinner and the catamaran excursion the next day, it was great. Just wished we could have stayed longer! They also had lots of goodies for us in the fridge like fruit, butter and crackers :)

The jacuzzi never warmed up which would have been great for the sore leg muscles after all the stair and walking we did. For a longer stay it would be great if shelves or hanging rings for pots in the kitchen. Luggage tables in the rooms and a chest of drawers at least in the main bedroom. The wood perches were cool but I still had to fight a lot with my suitcase

An amazing experience to stay in a 3500 year old Cave House in the heart of Oia. A great host and we would thoroughly re

Elisampeta our host and her team were extremely welcoming, helpful and nothing was a problem. Even with us arriving at 1am on a Sunday morning our Driver was there waiting at the airport to take us to the property. The property was exactly like the photos on the listing and everything was there that we needed. When we arrived there was fresh food in the fridge and chilled bottled water waiting there for us. Elisampeta arranged to meet us in the morning to give us a full rundown on the property and things to do in Oia and made some booking for us. When it came time to leave we left something behind at the property. The cleaning staff rang our driver halfway to the airport and we were able to turn around and retrieve it. I highly recommend Elisampeta and her team at SummerWhite. Anyone looking for a true Oia experience should book Morfi Cave House or one of the other SummerWhite properties - you will be well looked after and have an amazing experience. Thank you Elisampeta and the SummerWhite team!

Amazing amazing location! In the middle of the most popular places. You will feel like you’re in a dream. (It’s super close to one of the most photographed points). Elizabeth who’s the manager is very kind, responsive and helpful! She was just a message away and helped us book other local experiences too! They sent us a porter to help with luggage and trust me that was a blessing! Oia’s stairs are no joke!

-Many ants in the kitchen- which would come back no matter how much cleaning spray you use. -AC in the smaller room wouldn’t turn on in 1 go. Not a big deal but was a bit difficult given the hot weather. None of it was so bad that I won’t be back here in a blink!

It is in the heart of Oia, which is amazing! It’s even better than the pictures! However, one of the popular Instagram picture spots is right nearby, so be ready for aggressive tourists taking photos when trying to get to the cave house. Still would book again, because you have all those views from the terrace (and without the lines!).

One of the most special trips so far!

The location was perfect! It is located very much in the center of Oia, while it is on a closed alley and therefore not many people pass by. The accommodation itself is beautifully decorated, and is spacious, with two bedrooms, a kitchen space, a bathroom/toilet and the livng space in the middle. What is also to be highlighted is the terrance which is upstairs, with the breathtaking view of the ocean and the city of Oia. The outdoor jacuzzi was our 4-year-son's favourite space during our stay. Last but definitely not least, Elizabeth was always available and quick in responding to our questions and requests - thank you once again!

There are many cats - they are very cute but at the same time they may sometimes make things dirty. Well that's part of Santorini.

Lovely accomodation in Oia for a family to enjoy

The location, spacious apartment, all staff we encountered from the lovely host Elizabeth, the driver who carried our suitcases, the breakfast deliverer, cleaner, who left us a gift. We will always remember and cherish this place.

The smell of bleach or cleaning agent when we arrived, it was quite strong had to leave the door open, which bought in flies. It eventually went away during our stay.

Perfect Stay in Santorini

The place was absolutely stunning - when I think of Santorini, the Morfi Cave house completely embodies the beauty of the island. It was very clean and well located in central Oia, close to all the great shops and restaurants. The hot tub and balcony were such a bonus for our stay and I couldn't have asked for a better host - Elizabeth and her team were exceptionally great!

The house humidity is very challenging to control during the summer - there isn't much circulation in the house given the limited windows. There is a dehumidifier, which helps a bit, but the house can still get a bit wet from the AC on (and you're going to want that AC on during the peak summer times). Try not to cook anything in the kitchen, because it can get hot in there too.

A superb spot to experience Santorini from.

Well situated in the heart of Santorini. It is literally 10 metres away from the picture corner that all cruise tours come, except they stop before the house. The cave set up is interesting and unique. The view from the balcony was amazing. Our property manager Elizabeth was fantastic. She organised to pick us up from the boat and drop us off at the airport making the trip very simple. She knows the best restaurants to try and helped organise other excursions. It was like having a private travel planner

Elizabeth is a wonderful host. She replied our messages and questions immediately during our stay. She also recommended good restaurants and fun activities. The cave hotel is wonderful and clean . It located on the main road of Oia where very close to the iconic sunset spot and shops. My boys enjoyed in the Jacuzzi outside the cave house. Elizabeth helped us to arrange the mini van for pickup from the airport, also dropped off to another villa of our next stay. She even helped contacting our next bnb host to ask for an early check-in. Absolutely a wonderful and pleasure stay in Morfi Cave Hotel!

The location was excellent. The host, Elizabeth was ever helpful. From the time of picking us up from the airport to the time of dropping us at the ferry port, she guided us in every step, recommending us about how to get around, showed us restaurants, mini markets, bus stop etc. Also shared the best ideas on where to get the best views/experiences. Full marks to Elizabeth.

A little more utensils would be helpful to those who want to cook their own food. However, the kitchen was neat and clean and had the basic amenities.
