Our toilet bin didn’t get emptied for the 3 nights we were there, so thankfully it wasn’t hot as was out of season or it would’ve been very smelly, we also didn’t get any coffee refills. The shower had to be held while using it so it made washing hair a problem.

Felt the write up on line did not match what you got. Thought the ocean view was right outside our door but it was up two flights of stairs. Looked over somewhat of a spot for broke. Furniture

Perfect location. Great for sunsets.

Super comfortable for a family of 4. Enough space and nice bathroom. The water temperature was a little hard to control but otherwise a good sized bathroom. The location was perfect in Oia - just away from the throngs and throngs of people but seconds away from the action. And the private terrace to watch the sunset was an absolute treat. Really enjoyed our stay.

The balcony for sunset was amazing, since the streets on that area get SUPER crowded at that time. The location was perfect too- a quick walk into town for shopping and dining.

The ONLY thing that I could suggest is hooks to hang towels on after taking a shower so wet towels dont need to hang on the beautiful dining room chairs.

One of the best places to stay in Oia for sunset. Our host Boggi was a wonderful and attentive.

The property in located in the stunning village of Oia famous for the Santorini sunsets. Although our accomodation was on the lower ground level, you have access to a viewing platform area with deck chairs etc to have your own uninterrupted view of the sunset. Accomodation is very comfortable and cosy. Boggi is a wonderful host, keeps in touch with you daily to check that all is good and if you need anything. Cleaning staff are lovely very pleasant. All in all wonderful accomodation and would defiantly recommend this place.

Wifi was not strong. Oia can get very busy with tourists at sunset.

1. I had booked a two bedroom apartment with a balcony and the photos shown in booking.com for the selected apartment was showing a balcony with the windmill views and even in my room facilities it was mentioned that it includes a balcony. But once reached, we have found out that it was not a balcony but a patio which is about 10-20 steps up from the apartment. So it was very much misleading while booking, Booking.com should take EXTRA CARE while posting the room photos to avoid such aituation. 2. Water source in the apartment was very bad, water colour was yellow through out our stay. When complained to the staff, they said its the same all over Oia but we were intelligent enough to check with another hotel near to ours and it was not the case, so it was evident that the apartment was not being maintained well. We anyway had paid a lot for this apartment and also had to use bottled water through out our stay for all purpose which was an extra spend for us.

Scam - misleading pictures! View of scrap metal, trash, abandoned items

The porter was nice.

Warning! Do NOT stay at this place. “Thetis Cave Houses” also known as Poseidon Mansion. Very misleading, ruined our vacation. They promised a refund and LIED! Over 800€ down the toilet! I have video of this woman saying she would refund the full amount and has refunded 0. 😔 Dishonest and misleading! This is the worst experience in all our travels across the world. We talked to other guests who felt the same way. The pictures of the view are a total scam! You will only get that view of their large house is not booked and you are allowed on the terrace. Our evening sunset view was scrap metal, wire, trash, and abandoned items 🙄 Nothing like the pictures. Our sinks worked but the other issue is our shower did not work, other guests showers worked, and nobody came to help or fix it until I contacted booking.com to report directly. The owner says it’s because there was a power outage but this is not true. 1. Electricity returned soon after 2. The sinks worked! 3. Other guests had working showers! We couldn’t shower after an international flight or after a day of walking around hot blazing Oia. She even said she doesn’t likes guests complaining so we should leave and we would be refunded🤔 I have video of this. We did leave. No refund! Shame on this business! Terrible. She saw my review in another forum and accused my family of causing problems for other guests- MORE LIES instead of making things right. 0 customer service, respect, or integrity. My family is in the hospitality industry in the US, we NEVER cause issues anywhere, and would never treat guests this way. Absolutely ridiculous. Wasted so much time. HOURS with booking, stress, and energy figuring out where we would go instead of relaxing and enjoying our visit.

The location was centric, less than 5 mins walk to the spot where everyone sees the sunset.

The facilities were only for 3 people while we were 4 of us, staring from the shampoo and shower gel, we were given only 3, plates, forks and knifes, glasses were only in set of 3.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts who would go out of their way to help you. Check in was super easy with the transfer from the airport. Assisted with carrying bags to the room which was greatly appreciated.

The view from the accomodation was a let down unfortunately. There’s a small balcony reserved on the other side of the property, and it overlooks essentially a junk yard. The photos are misleading for the view. With that being said, the location for the accomodation is spectacular, so you are only a few steps away from some beautiful views.

Excellent stay at the beautiful Santorini

Excellent location, excellent host. Chrysa took care of us since we arrived in Santorini. She sent her colleague to help us in moving the luggage from the car park to the location that required passing through lots of steps. She addressed all issues asap and was very helpful throughout the stay. Highly recommend all future visitors to book this place.

Best view in Oia

The location was stellar! The rooftop space is one of the highest positions and therefore the best spot for sunset viewing. The cave suites are lovely and very clean. The Manager, Horatio, could not have been more helpful or kind. He went out of his way to accommodate us. Having freshly baked. Bread dropped off at the door each morning was pretty magical. Can’t say enough good!

Good but not as expected.

Great location in Oia, very easy to get to from the bus station and right on sunset boulevard and very easy to get to all the main attractions in the area. Host was very easy to get hold of when required. Was very good value for the area as everything in Oia is exceptionally overpriced. Bed and pillows were really comfortable and was very quiet at all times so makes for a relaxing stay.

The listing was a little misleading, upon booking I thought that the room had it's own balcony attached to the room, the balcony is in fact in a public terrace area of the property. Additionally, although the 'balcony' has sunset views, the view isn't the greatest as it faces some run down buildings and not the pretty hillsides of Oia as I expected - all the reviews talk about the view from the roof terrace but to highlight the roof terrace with the real views of the hillsides is for use by the most expensive room in the property and not to everybody which we only found out upon checking in. It is also mentioned in the reviews that the breakfast includes cheeses, meats etc.; however, there was only a fresh loaf of bread (which was amazing), some jams, cereal, milk and eggs. The water pressure in the shower was also terrible and I would expect for a property of this price that there would be a decent shower.

Oia sunset from a private terrace and a comfy bed

If you're in Oia to see the sunset, try this place. Even though the apartment is "down below" in a cave house you get access to a terrace above with amazing sunset view, while everyone else is outside the gate clamouring for a look. The room itself is cool and pleasant, with a tiny kitchenette and some basic ingredients you can use to snack/breakfast on. There are plenty of electricity outlets in the room. The bathroom is simple but adequate. Shops and restaurants of Oia are just a short stroll away.
