Anemos Caldera Oia

Great hospitality from the team including Vassili and Ali, really amazing welcome and goodbye they provided us during our 3 night stay. They helped with the luggage as going to the room there are couple of stairs to go through. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea, mountains, and iconic blue domes. The room was neat, clean, beautifully decorated, and offered a unique cave-living experience. Just make sure that the rooms are located within the main pedestrian way of tourists and the balcony with jacuzzi is not fully private, as people stand to take photo of the stunning views. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of most of Oia’s main attractions and the bus station, making it very convenient to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious and offered great value for money, with generous portions.

Make sure there is many stairs to reach the rooms, but staff helped with luggage. Also the balcony with jacuzzi is not fully private as the room is within the main pedestrian way of tourists and stand for taking pictures.

Very clean , cave like feeling and Jaccuzi. The most important that it was very close to 3 Dome View point. Ali was awesome and helped us with moving our luggage. I thought I will do it myself but once you get there, you realize that you definitely need help.

Sunset is not visible from the property otherwise it’s a great property

Everything! The photos match the actual room exactly. The view is the best part - I felt like I was living in a dream for my 2 nights here. The room is much larger than it seems in the photos. Lots of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hot tub overlooking the caldera felt like a 5-star experience! Another big plus is the distance from the car park/motorable road. Anemos is well-located from the main road and you don't need to walk too much to reach the property. There are a few steps, and staff helps with moving bags to and from the room, which is greatly appreciated. It is also very close to the main attractions: the castle, windmills, famous blue domes, as well as several excellent restaurants. Special mention to the owner/manager Vasilis who was super easy to communicate with over WhatsApp. Every detail including port transfers and breakfast were handled seamlessly. Restaurant recommendations were spot-on and I had some wonderful meals there. For a traveler arriving from continents away, it's the little things that make or break a vacation, and Anemos truly does a fantastic job at making a guest feel welcome and cared for.

Tiny thing, but this did not hamper my stay in any way: the front of my room had an extremely beautiful view, so people would stop all day long to take photos. While I was okay with this, if you need complete privacy, this might be an issue. It just means the views from Anemos are indeed that good!
