Danai House provided us with the most exquisite stay in Oia..beyond beautiful is the only way to describe the views, the setting and our whole experience. Thankyou to Maria for her immediate response to calls and the wonderful staff who carried our bags up and over steps on arrival and departure. A gorgeous house in a fairytale setting away from the touristy laneways.

Our stay was relaxed & fun.

The location is perfect, close to everything but you’re just out of the hustle & bustle of everyone. The view from the spa is gorgeous. The staff were friendly & super easy to communicate with, we also appreciated our luggage being carried all the way from the bus area to the house! The home is bigger than meets the eye, value for money 10/10!

Great location

The house is spacious, and since our family was big we were able to have our food together even if they stayed at a hotel across. It was clean, and had the view of the dome overlooking the caldera. The host is also easily reachable and coordinated with us efficiently.

Nydelig sted, ubehagelig stank

Den fantastiske utsikten, beliggenheten, interiøret, eksteriøret, boblebadet - alt 10/10, akkurat som på bildene. Badet er enda finere enn på bildene da det er pusset opp i samme stil som resten av huset. Dusjen er meget bra. Liten 2.etasje hvor barna sov i en koselig «hule», eget do oppe så de slapp å gå ned den bratte trappen på natten, det var supert.

Jeg misliker virkelig å gi en dårlig anmeldelse av et så vakkert sted, men her må folk vite hva de kommer til. På tomten vegg i vegg er det noe buskas hvor det holder en kattekoloni til, vi talte vel 15-20 stk. Vi elsker katter og har selv katt, problemet her er stanken. Det lukter så sterkt av katte-markering spraying at vi omtrent ikke orket å sitte ute på terrassen, ivertfall ikke spise der. Til og med inne kjente vi lukten, denne stramme stanken fra ikke-kastrerte hankatter som markerer territorium. Det ble ganske uutholdelig og vi gikk derfor på butikken og kjøpte diverse luftfriskere og sprayer, noe som hjalp innendørs, men ikke ute.. Vi ga beskjed til husverten, men ut i fra svaret virket det ikke som det var noe de hadde tenkt å gjøre noe med. Der vi kommer fra er det en enkel sak å spraye på middel for å forhindre katte-markering, de kunne vertfall gjort det på terrassen, da kassen til air conditioning’en (som står rett utfor inngangsdøren) og selve inngangsdøren virker å være spesielt utsatt.
