Spectacular place with breathtaking views

This cave house is spectacular. The view is breathtaking. Its sooo spacious and was perfectly equipped with everything we needed and more. My only regret was not planning to stay an extra 2-3 days. The host, Elizabeth, is absolutely the best! She contacted me ahead of time, offered to prebook everything to make our stay relaxing, gave great recommendations, made herself available 24/7, and was just the loveliest human. I plan on calling Elizabeth soon because are definitely going back!

Excellent Property - Even better host and team

1. Bang in the center of Oia, overlooking one of the blue domes. 2. Super responsive host, Elizabeth. And has an excellent staff - porter (massive kudos to him for helping everyone with the luggages through the roads and stairs which aren’t accessible by car) and house keeping. 3. Private transfers to and from airport arranged and on time with a friendly driver who again helped with the luggage.

Amazing - planning to return!!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about our stay. From the second we booked, Elizabeth could not do enough for us. - She personally met us to hand over and collect the keys. - She organised our transfers from the airport. - She organised our trips. - She organised someone to help us with our bags down to the cave. - She gave us recommendations on where to visit, where to eat, what to do whilst we were there etc. - She was available 24/7. Not only the above, but she was happy to organise any dinner reservations, taxis, anything! Nothing was too much trouble, and she really did make our trip 🥹 The cave was stunning, in a prime location, but still felt very private. The view was absolutely insane, we sat on the terrace for hours! We are already looking at trip back, if you are thinking about booking, don’t hesitate! You will have the best time, and you are in the best hands.

Beautiful home with a wonderful view

Beautiful cave home with a wonderful view! My group had such an amazing stay. First of all, the location is amazing. It’s very close to where you enter the village and it’s close to everything which is really great. Also, kudos to the host Elizabeth. From the moment our booking was made, to the time of our check out, she was available to help. She made dinner reservations for us, she arranged our transportation from the airport to the house, the from the house to the port; with no extra fees. I would book this place again if we ever go back to Santorini.

Beautiful cave home in the heart of oía.

This was the perfect place for our stay in Santorini. Just off the Main Street you drop down a set of stairs to your own private oasis with spectacular views. Walkable to all shops and restaurants. Easy to get to other parts of the island using the local bus. The house itself was super clean and well equipped. Staff was super friendly. We spent a lot of time just enjoying our patio and small pool/tub. Such a relaxing time.

Not a problem for us but I would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. The stairs to the home are very steep.

Superb view and facilities to relax in. Location was convenient, walking distance to view spots and restaurant. Excellent morning and night view of the sea and blue domes. sleeping inn and toilet was uniquely designed. Unforgettable experience and valuable for money.

As we went by bus, late communication from check-in and ended up searching the villa under the hot sun with luggages in Oia town. Please message host for the right address and avoid directing yourself to the address specified in this platform.

Magical views and modern cave living!

This is a dream cave with gorgeous views of caldera and the blue domes. Elizabeth is a good host and very attentive. The property was cleaned and well kept. The patio is the best part with a large jaccuzi and enormous views with a coffee table. We felt great having to see the domes every day from our patio while the tourists formed lines to get the same view. They help you carry your luggage as there are steep staircases. Elizabeth helps you book your entire excursion. You get good privacy because no one can walk into your balcony which is pretty common in Oia.

Since this is a real modern cave you miss out on a normal bathroom. The bathroom does not have doors or even a small privacy curtain. If someone walks inside the master bedroom they can clearly see someone in the toilet (it was really inconvenient). The ventilation is horrible and you will have to leave the house if someone goes to the bathroom. The flower trees are pretty but excessive as it gets infested with bugs and mosquitoes so sitting on the patio at night is not fun.

Incredibly comfortable stay with views, location and privacy

We had an incredible stay! The privacy this villa gives you is amazing, and the views also are unreal. Perfect spot in Oia to walk everywhere you need, including around the corner to the sunset views. The host, porters, and driver were all amazing and helpful, making the whole experience perfect. Elisampeta, the host, was so sweet always with amazing recommendations and was extremely attentive with responding to any questions we had. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting!

We didn't have housekeeping during our 2 night stay, which would have been nice to empty bins and replenish water but wasn't a problem. May have been due to the public holiday in Santorini. Plus, if we really needed it, we could have messaged the host, and she would have sent someone.

Unbeatable accomodation in the heart of Oia

We absolutely loved our stay at Opsis Cave House. The location was perfect – right in the heart of Oia with an unbeatable view of the iconic blue domes. It was especially magical at sunset, watching the sky turn all different shades of pink behind them. The accommodation was stylish and thoughtfully furnished, and the bed was really comfy. We also really enjoyed the hot tub – a great way to relax after we walked from Oia to Fira. Elizabeth (our host) was wonderfully kind & attentive, helping us book activities, recommending lovely places to eat and arranging transport so we could truly unwind. We highly recommend staying at Opsis Cave House - you won’t regret booking. We can’t wait to one day come back!

The property is at prime location and near to sun set point and sunrise is visible from the balcony. Absolute stunning location

Property is as per the description. The setting is cave bedroom. Note that while property is great, it has some shortcomings. Property manager Elizabeth requested not to dispose toilet papers in commode, which causes lots of hygene issues. Next because the bedroom is cave settings, the room has lot of moisture content. Even though there is de humidifier, the propertybhas some constant odour. The de humidifier competes with Aircon for room temperature whichbis challenging. The property is perfectly situated for sun rise and very close to sun set and prime location blue dome is next door.

Stunning compact cave house with amazing view

Stunning compact cave with exceptional view from verandah and hot tub. Two toilets and showers and small kitchen perfect for breakfast packed lunches and snacks. Absolutely loved our time here and would thoroughly recommend.

We loved everything but something to note is that 1. Steps down are steep so not good for small children or folk with mobility problems 2. Beautifully compact so not spacious 3. The most private cave house we saw but still it close to other verandahs and you could have noisy neighbours. 4. Regular daily cleaning by lovely staff means daily visits even if you're relaxing in the tub and may include a dog .

We loved the picturesque views from this fabulous patio and enjoyed the friendliest staff.

The staff (Mattheo & Elizabeth) were amazing and ready to assist with anything. They arranged for airport transfer and met us to carry our bags down the harrowing stairs. The patio is everything and more than the pictures show. The cave bedroom gave us the best sleep because it was so dark and quiet. Oia is unbelievable and truly the most beautiful and picturesque place I’ve ever been to. I’m still happy we chose to visit even in the down season as we were able to see everything without a million other visitors but do be aware there are very few dining options in Oia. For dinner plan on taking a transfer to one of the other cities and then there are quite a few good options. Lotsa and Hungry Donkey were the only places that we saw consistently open, there were a few more at random times each day.

These might be items typical to Greece that we Americans weren’t used to but the hot tub wasn’t quite as hot as expected. So with the cool temps at night it didn’t get quite hot enough to enjoy in the evenings. Also between the hot tub and open showers we definitely could have used more towels but honestly we never asked for more so that probably could have been fixed.

Wonderful location and view!

Wonderful location and veranda. We loved the private spa and the view is to die for. Nice amenities and Elizabeth, the host, was fantastic with top notch personalized service. Liked there were 2 toilets and showers, also. Patio was lovely with plenty of room.

The bed and couch were very uncomfortable and instructions on hot water were not found until last day so we took cold showers both days. It was so hot, so it was not a big deal to take cold shower but info should be shared with guests about how to turn on hot water ahead of time. The couch is very hard and NOT a good place for anyone to sleep. Although it says it fits 4 people, it is more for 2 people, 3 people max if they sleep on very hard couch. There is not room for 4 unless very small children. AC in living area does not get very cool. Investing better, more comfortable furniture for living area, especially more comfortable sleeping couches would be a HUGE improvement and make it perfect.

The location couldn't be better. People were queuing up for sunset views on the street outside, we were looking out over the water and had the perfect view from our loungers. The property was immaculately clean, very well maintained, and extremely convenient to the main thoroughfare in Oia.

Very minor details, as overall it was excellent. As a six foot one man, and a somewhat forgetful one at that, repeated head bumps from going through low doorways was a very literally pain in the head. Also, while neither myself nor my wife are heavy drinkers, if we were, getting back down the stairs into the apartment if you had a few sherries on board at the end of the night might be a little treacherous. Tis a bit steep, to say the least of it.

Great stay at a premium location.

It was an authentic cave house experience. The property was perfect for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). It had 2 bath/toilet areas which made it easier for the family. Views from the property were awesome as was the hot tub. The host "Elizabeth" was awesome. She helped us throughout our stay and was very responsive on WhatsApp. Location is great (if staying in Oia).

The 2nd bed was fine for our kids, but won't work with kids 5'+ tall. It would have been great if the hot tub was along the property wall to give it infinity pool view.

The view is spectacular. The cave house is clean and airy. It is very centrally located in Oia, but still feels private. The hot tub was good (would have been nice if it was a little warmer). Elizabeth was a very gracious host (arranging our airport transfer, booking our catamaran cruise and recommending restaurants)! The porters and cleaning staff were helpful and friendly.

The cave house was pretty small for four people (two adults, two teenagers).
