We arrived at the property and it was cold and the house was not back clean. heating wasn’t working properly it was more

I did not like anything about about the property. The property was cold and not heating or hot water.

I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Clean and close to the centre without the big price tag of the city centre hotels

The property was clean and great for our little trip to Chester on a budget. The host was very friendly and attentive.

The property was very cold we asked the host about the heating when we arrived and he had someone there to look at it very quickly so we went off about our day pleased it had been sorted so fast but on returning to the property we realised it was still very cold and didn’t seem like the heating was working so we asked the host if there was something we found do to switch it on and he again tried to help but we couldn’t figure out how to get it to work so it remained cold but we got wrapped up and other than that it was a lovely stay.

Woke up with slugs all down stairs, the fridge was broken and stunk, the kitchen stunk. One bedroom window was single glazed and cracked. Was dirty. The main door did not look secure at all. Overall was not nice

The house was dirty and the landlord wasn’t responsive

It had 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, even with stuff for babies

He was really insistent about asking me about what time I was going to arrive, calling me a couple of times, even though I told him I was going to tell him with two hours in advance. The oven was really dirty, it even had a pot full of dirty oil We had to clean all the dishes because they didn’t seem clean We had almost no toilet paper We only had 2 towels for 5 people, I asked him about them he said he will come back to me with the answer and never reply again, we had to share the towels among us The house has a lot of dust, my mother had an allergic attack

served the purpose of a late arrival, needing somewhere to sleep.

a friend and i stayed over night, arriving late and checking out at 10am. It would have been nice to have a slightly later checkout especially as it was Sunday. The area was really quiet and there was parking for at least 2 cars. Plenty of settees and table/chairs if a few of you are staying.

The property needs some attention inc the boiler and bathroom. Some areas were tired. Luckily I'd packed some tea bags otherwise we wouldn't have been able to make a drink in the morning.

The boiler was turned off, luckily my husband is a heating engineer so knew how to safely turn it on. The bath needs a desperate upgrade, and they left minimal toilet roll for 4 people so we had to shop. It's ok for a quick stop off and that's all, but clean.

Little further out of town than thought but actually very cheap in taxi and no parking issues in city centre

Avoid

location was great

It was scruffy and tatty and basic cleaning not done. Garden was complete unusable. Rotting shed and unused cars in drive. rotting window frames and dirty all round. . Cannot believe the property is suitable for rental. Very disappointing. Feedback sent to landlord but no response. Avoid !
