Was OK, but bathroom not so great.

location was fantastic, interior and clenleness good, plus a few aditional bits such as tea/coffee etc. The comunications were good from the host and acess was quite easy.

The bathroom - did not realise it would be like a caravan bathroom in size, was not possible to clean theath or have a shave, the sink was so so small two cups of water and was full. Also there is a daylight window in the roof of the bedroom with a blind that did not work, the appartment above could look from balcony and see me in bed. Luckly was December/dark so was not too worried, but would not liek this in the summer. No instructions for the blind which I belive to work from the control on the wall, they lit up but did not work.

Lovely stay overall perfect location

I loved the location and how it was in the centre. Very spacious and bed really comfortable. Staff were quick to respond to any queries and instructions on the day were clear.

I thought everything was great accept only a 2 radiators overall one in the bathroom and one in the living area which didn’t work so in November it was very chilly at night so I would say this needs fixing for us to return.

The apartment was great. Loved the location.

Bathroom was freezing - no heating. Concerns regarding a third party accessing my details and then receiving scam what’s app messages requesting payments on 3 separate times which was very worrying. I emailed to ask if I need to cancel my card but got no response. On arrival at our apartment there were two males already there. They had been relocated to our apartment as their apartment was not ready. Unsure what we would have done if we had not met the two males as we had no contact number for the host. The 2 males provided us with this. The line was really bad and it was difficult to understand what was being said. I received an email relocating me to the apartment that was not ready and still had cleaners in it. Fortunately the 2 males said they would go back to their original apartment (16). Thankfully from that point our stay got better but it could have been so much worse if the 2 males had refused to move out of the apartment we had booked.

Lovely location!!

I had to call as arrived to get access codes to the property! Not a fan of the bed at all! The base, being a polished solid wood base, contradicts a mattress that then slides off.of the base!! Actually very frustrating! Personally not a lived in experienced thought process! Due to its small size, you need to nail everything!

The location and how close it was to the city centre

Paid for the night and had to wait around for over 3 hours after check in time in a city we didn’t know due to not being able to get in touch with the host and he didn’t reach out with the code for the front door or the lockbox. The cleanliness, there was blood on the bedframe near the mattress. Long black hair on the “clean” bedding and in the shower (my hair is red) and the state of the cutlery and pots were awful, they had dry food on nearly every item or dirty smudge marks.

Comfort and style in the heart of Chester

The apartment was very clean and welcoming with conveniences - fridge, TV, hob, microwave and shower accessible and easy to use, relatively not far from the train station and had convenient parking about 5 minutes away. Myself and my travel companion really enjoyed staying at the property and would most definitely book again.

I loved the location

The apartment was not what i was expecting it was more of a uni dorm bed sit not a full apartment like i though i had booked. First entering it looked clean but after really looking around it was clear it wasn't. The chairs were really stained i did not want to sit on them the coffee table next to the bed had not be cleaned or wiped. I did not use anything out of the draws as i found what looked like a needle of some sorts. We did not watch the tv as it was in the most awkward place right next to the door. I stayed with my partner and two month old baby it was boiling in the night we could not sleep and we could hear the traffic all night.

Nice apartment but...

The location, the apartment was modern and well equipped

I could not reach anyone by telephone on the afternoon of booking in as I had WiFi issues.Managed to get codes to gain access.When inside noticed marks and stains on walls and furniture.The shower was dirty with mould on grouting and dirty shower hose.(this had been reported in March)there was also only one bath towel.I messaged to request another for my wife but did not receive one.Also a deposit of £100 was taken before arrival which i am told I should have refunded 3 days after departure. The apartment was also directly opposite a bar where loud music played till midnight on Saturday.

Great place to stay

The apartment is the perfect size and layout, absolutely ideal for a couple, and has all the amenities you would ever need. Location is excellent as well as you are in the heart of the city but tucked away enough that it feels relaxing and quiet. There is a small car park 10 mins away and we got an uber to chester zoo for £8. All pubs, shops and restraunts are within a few mins walk. All round excellent and fantastic value for money.

I was trying to get into the wrong apartment because the instructions told me once I was outside apartment 3 , I should use the code to gain access. After trying about four times I discovered I should have been in apartment 2. Maybe a typo. Also didn’t appreciate the over a year old newspapers.

Location was perfect!

Hard to scan id photo so unable to put in card details for security deposit. Communication to sort out this problem was not great and spent the night before wondering if we would get access information to the property. We received it at 4.00pm after saying we would be there at 3.00pm. Very difficult to find...no mention of it being down an alley. Clearer instructions needed. Tiny bathroom with hair on floor and smelly drains. Lumpy pillows and saggy mattress. Found hair on mattress protector when bed was stripped on checkout. No hairdryer, no teatowel. We would not rebook given that Travel Lodge next to Pepper Street carpark was the same price. Overall a great location and price but with a bit more effort and attention to detail it could have been a much more positive experience.

A lovely small flat in a superb location

The flat is really lovely and the location is amazing. It is right in the centre of Chester and just around the corner from the Rows. It's a short walk to everywhere. There's also parking nearby. I'd choose to stay here again.

Great location. Felt safe. Warm and cosy, nicely presented. Modern decoration and clean. Host responded well to messages. I parked in the car park at the end of Cuppin Street which I found reasonably priced considering the central location.

Nothing. The property was great. Don’t get confused if you book 14-16 Grosvenor Street and then receive directions for 1 Cuppin Street. It’s the same building (back and front), on different streets. You access it from Cuppin Street. I queried with host and they explained it before I arrived.

Upon entering there was an overwhelming smell of damp , we immediately realised it was not the apartment we had booked. It had one window in the apartment which was painted shut , a large skylight high above the bed with no working blind to close over and a terrace and windows up above where people e could clearly look down straight into the bedroom. In event of a fire if you were unable to get out of the door there was no escape route …It had a tiny bathroom where you could only just manage to sit on the toilet with a very small shower with folding door .. we had paid for a larger apartment with a double shower with sliding door as my wife is disabled, meaning the bathroom was inaccessible for her. We contacted the agent to explain we had been given the wrong apartment and they would not help , they said it’s personal preference and we are fully booked , they refused to help. It was not personal preference we paid extra to book the bigger apartment with the larger bathroom and was given the wrong apartment ! So we then contacted booking.com who also spoke with them to ask for a refund so we could book elsewhere where as my wife could not use the bathroom and they refused. We spoke to the couple next door who confirmed they had our apartment and had actually booked ours .. all our follow up communication was ignored by the host and no solution was offered , this was my 10th wedding anniversary which was totally ruined and ended up costing a fortune as we had to find alternate accommodation last minute.
