Snug apartment

The location was perfect. Clean modern apartment.

Could have done with some hand towels, hooks/shelf in the bathroom. A sink plug, drainer and tea towel in the kitchen.

Discusting

Did not stay around.

The apartment was disgusting, I try had not been cleaned since the last customer, radiators not working, radiator hanging off the wall, TV In stupid place, kitchen was dirty, bed was awful, stains everywhere. Room was freezing cold, landlord would not answer the phone, really disappointed as this was Valentine’s Day and a surprise for my partner, left the apartment within 30 mins and went to stay in a holiday inn, at a further cost of £260.

Overall it was okay

The location was really good! The property is a nice size, the little extras like teas and coffees are a nice touch. The bed was nice and comfy and big which I was thankful for!

The layout was odd, the tv for example was in a weird spot on the wall right next to the front door, there wasn’t a couch (though room for this) but two heavily marked chairs instead. The property was clean on first glance but closer inspection you could see it wasn’t very clean. The tiny tiny cold bathroom was a pain to use.

Turned up. Got ignored. Were never given a key. Had to book a different hotel. Absolute legends👍🏻

Where it was situated would have been perfect for our weekend away.

Unfortunately it had not been cleaned so we refused to stay there. We were offered another property which we accepted.

Frustrating

Good location near to town

We were not given the code to access the property. We called over ten times as well as sending emails and messages and received no response. We were only given access to the property after speaking to booking.com customer service (which took an hour in itself). If you have any issues at all, do not expect any response from the host. It was very cold and dark outside, so it was very frustrating not being able to access the property until after 7pm, despite check in being at 3pm. The property was listed as a one bedroom apartment, but was actually a studio.

Grubby, not as advertised. The pics on the advert show other apartments. What we were allocated was a bedsit with the block. When I mentioned this to the landlord they weren’t too bothered and said there are pics on the advert. When I went back on the advert there actually are a couple of pics kinda cleverly hidden with pics of the better apartments. All very misleading

Great location terrible bed

Location and decor. Really great place to stay

Couldn't sleep on one side of the bed as the mattress was completely sunk so I spent 2 nights on the sofa as my husband was too tall for the sofa

What a waste of a days leave.

Nothing, there was no experience - spent 4 hours training to gain access to the building to be told there is no stay.

Unable to access the apartment. Contacted booking.com and still couldn’t obtain access. Really really poor - hosts never answered their phones and left us stranded.

Great location but scammed for money.

Great location

I was scammed €248 received messages saying I needed to pay this cleaning fee or my booking would be cancelled. Stupidly I paid. A really bad experience. The apartment was ok the mattress needs replacing and a lightbulb in the bedside lamp., and also the sofa. It was ok for the money but will be wary of using booking.com in future.

Was OK, but bathroom not so great.

location was fantastic, interior and clenleness good, plus a few aditional bits such as tea/coffee etc. The comunications were good from the host and acess was quite easy.

The bathroom - did not realise it would be like a caravan bathroom in size, was not possible to clean theath or have a shave, the sink was so so small two cups of water and was full. Also there is a daylight window in the roof of the bedroom with a blind that did not work, the appartment above could look from balcony and see me in bed. Luckly was December/dark so was not too worried, but would not liek this in the summer. No instructions for the blind which I belive to work from the control on the wall, they lit up but did not work.

Lovely stay overall perfect location

I loved the location and how it was in the centre. Very spacious and bed really comfortable. Staff were quick to respond to any queries and instructions on the day were clear.

I thought everything was great accept only a 2 radiators overall one in the bathroom and one in the living area which didn’t work so in November it was very chilly at night so I would say this needs fixing for us to return.

The apartment was great. Loved the location.

Bathroom was freezing - no heating. Concerns regarding a third party accessing my details and then receiving scam what’s app messages requesting payments on 3 separate times which was very worrying. I emailed to ask if I need to cancel my card but got no response. On arrival at our apartment there were two males already there. They had been relocated to our apartment as their apartment was not ready. Unsure what we would have done if we had not met the two males as we had no contact number for the host. The 2 males provided us with this. The line was really bad and it was difficult to understand what was being said. I received an email relocating me to the apartment that was not ready and still had cleaners in it. Fortunately the 2 males said they would go back to their original apartment (16). Thankfully from that point our stay got better but it could have been so much worse if the 2 males had refused to move out of the apartment we had booked.

Lovely location!!

I had to call as arrived to get access codes to the property! Not a fan of the bed at all! The base, being a polished solid wood base, contradicts a mattress that then slides off.of the base!! Actually very frustrating! Personally not a lived in experienced thought process! Due to its small size, you need to nail everything!

The location and how close it was to the city centre

Paid for the night and had to wait around for over 3 hours after check in time in a city we didn’t know due to not being able to get in touch with the host and he didn’t reach out with the code for the front door or the lockbox. The cleanliness, there was blood on the bedframe near the mattress. Long black hair on the “clean” bedding and in the shower (my hair is red) and the state of the cutlery and pots were awful, they had dry food on nearly every item or dirty smudge marks.

Comfort and style in the heart of Chester

The apartment was very clean and welcoming with conveniences - fridge, TV, hob, microwave and shower accessible and easy to use, relatively not far from the train station and had convenient parking about 5 minutes away. Myself and my travel companion really enjoyed staying at the property and would most definitely book again.
