Clean, comfortable apartment, very convenient for exploring the town.

Great location for visiting and exploring Chester. Clean and comfortable apartment, heating easy to use so can be warm or cold as you prefer. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Quiet place despite lots of people and traffic outside. Responsive host.

Reflecting previous feedback: There are a lot of stairs, accessing and within the apartment. If you find these difficult or have large amounts of luggage this place is not for you. If you like old buildings and can manage stairs easily it is fine. The kitchen is good, but a long way from the dining area (up stairs). The bathrooms are good, the water is very hot and the temperature cannot be adjusted. Maybe this makes for quick, money saving showers (although my son opted for a bath instead, so maybe not!). They are also both together, away from 2 of the bedrooms. The penthouse apartment does have 3 bedrooms, but the information is slightly misleading as one is accessed through another with no closing door. If you want/need total privacy this could be awkward. The photos show all the apartments, check which one you will get. Despite these comments we (a family of 4 with 2 teenagers) were comfortable, had a lovely time and would go there again!

The location was excellent, in the middle of Chester. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Had all amenities. Would recommend.

Obviously being in the middle of the town centre outside noise from rowdy people was heard, but that can’t be blamed on the property.

Not Luxury

Location

This property is not fit for purpose and should not be advertised as a luxury apartment. We stayed as 4 adults and 2 young children and encountered serious issues from the moment we arrived. The apartment was freezing cold, poorly prepared, and not properly cleaned. The kitchen and bathroom were below standard, the dishwasher still contained items from previous guests, and the oven appeared used. Basic amenities were missing or insufficient. Shampoo was not refilled, tea bags were not replenished, and there were only three forks for six people, which is completely unacceptable. The most serious failure was the complete lack of hot water for the entire two-night stay. Each morning there was no hot water at all, meaning we were unable to shower or wash. We contacted the host immediately on both mornings. Despite instructions being given and a visit to activate a “boost” function, the issue was never resolved. Hot water is a basic, minimum requirement for any accommodation. Its absence alone makes this property unacceptable, particularly when travelling with children. This stay caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience and fell far below basic hosting standards. The property is misrepresented, poorly managed, and should be avoided. We will not return and do not recommend this apartment.

We would definitely come back, just not 100% on the apartment itself due to the shower and WiFi.

Location itself was brilliant, comfortable as well and very homely.

The shower in both (en-suite) and normal bathroom, one minute it was piping hot to the next stone cold, and the WiFi we couldn’t connect to, just wouldn’t work, other than that a really good stay.

The location is very central and convenient for Chester

We booked a two-bedroom penthouse, but on arrival were informed it had been double booked and was unavailable. We were moved to a one-bedroom apartment with sofa beds instead, which was a clear downgrade with reduced privacy and comfort. This caused stress from the start of the stay, especially as it was a special family weekend.

Perfect, Cosy & Affordable 👌

The property was very spacious, the rooms were clean and tidy and had everything we needed for the 2 nights we were there. It’s in a perfect location, 15 mins from the Zoo, and everything else was in walking distance. I would highly recommend this property to anyone that is staying in Chester.

The only thing that let this property down and I am guessing its because of the old buildings, tank systems would be the lack of hot water, we went as a family of 5 and we couldn’t all have a shower in the morning as the hot water had run out. But again this isn’t a bad complaint just my honesty. It did not ruin the stay we just split the showers. Everything else was perfect :)

Hidden Gem in The Rows

The location was absolutely perfect for daytime shopping and night-time adventures. It was modern, clean and welcoming with everything needed for self-catering. The beds were comfortable and pillows soft, and plenty of storage. The heating took some time to adjust but was toasty warm soon enough. We had an issue with the lock but was able to get in contact with somebody, who was very helpful. The steps leading up to the property would be a concern for young families or older people, but were fine for us (even after a few wines!) Would definitely go back :)

Good location

The apartment was dirty appeared not to be cleaned smelt like cigarettes and an off odour, there was a nail hanging out the wall, the floor was unlevelled and cracked throughout. The furniture in the lounge was outdated and had 2 broken chairs, we had to wash all the kitchen ware before using as it was dirty. We had to go buy cleaning products just to make it somewhat fit for purpose. We were staying with two children and it wasn’t safe.

The location was central and it was spacious.

It was dirty, the bed hadn’t been changed from the previous stay and was full of other people’s hair. We had to sleep clothed on top of the made bed. The standards of cleanliness were low and it was clearly not very well cleaned. The lounge area that is used for sleeping is uninhabitable at night due to the noise from the street outside and the adjacent slug and lettuce pub Bridge Street is one of the busiest nighttime streets in Chester and the noise is unacceptable if you are expecting people to sleep in the lounge room sofa beds. In the bedroom there’s an air-conditioning unit straight outside the window which goes on and off all night making an absolute racket and the noise cancellation between other apartments is next to non-existent.

Very spacious and clean

Very spacious, Very clean, Beds and sofas were comfortable and clean. The living room TV was extremely large and had a great quality screen. Bathrooms were clean and the shower was especially nice aswell as invigorating.

The only issue with the stay was with the TV remote. The living room TV remote's batteries weren't working, when changing it we discovered the batteries were full of dried battery acid, it was present on the exterior of the remote (albeit in smaller quantities).

The location was so convenient to where we needed to be throughout the weekend.

Going to sleep in the Central Vista lounge on the sofa bed was near impossible due to the street light entering the room through the blinds and the noise outside on the street.

A szobák kényelmesek, tiszták, kényelemesek. 2 fürdő/wc családdal praktikus volt.

A konyha mögötti fürdőszobában nagyon nehezen működött a csap, Konyhában patkányt találtunk, wifi nem működött hiába probálkoztunk 3 telefonon 2tableten és a tv sem találta a wifit , fűtőket 1.nap nem bírtuk kikapcsolni így nagyon meleg volt nem tudtunk aludni sem. Kimentünk a konyhába éjjel, ott éppen akkor mászott a mosogatógép alá egy patkány . A fagyasztó pedig teljesen használhatatlan mert az egész be bolt jegesedve. Nagyon messze van ez a luxustól. A konyhában a szőnyeg rettenetes koszos volt.
