Nice flat close to the City Centre. You can walk to most of the sights you want to see in Chester and it's just steps from one of the places to join the Roman Walls walk. You get a door code for the front door and then a key from a lockbox on the apartment itself. The neighborhood is mixed - I found men sitting on the steps to the building, drinking, several times when I arrived back from being out. It was a bit intimidating. But it's close to everything with a Tesco Express right across the street.
On a very busy city corner. With the windows open for air, the traffic sounds and noise from the street were really annoying. Ambulances, police cars, lots of exterior noise. The hairdryer in the place was broken so I had to go buy one of my own. There was no air conditioning during a heat wave. You can't actually talk to an owner - it's an apartment complex with everything done by chat. And the walk from the train station to the flat is longer than you expect and not an easy walk.
