The check in process was communicated well and was very smooth. The room itself was clean and very nicely decorated with a lovely view of the picturesque city walls and the river. The bed was super comfy, which is rare in my experience. I had an issue with the car park access but this was resolved quickly by the hosts. The place is also fantastically located to get to the city centre and the river.
Being on a main road there is a bit of noise and the blinds don't block out much light so, if you're a light sleeper like me I'd recommend ear plugs and a sleep mask.

The location was very good. The parking was reasonable £10 per night. We stayed for two nights. The parking has to be pre booked.
