Great location, close to everything. Friendly staff always tried to provide help while we stayed there.

The villa is located right in the centre, in walking distance to everything. Perfect location to get around Ubud. The decor is beautiful and all the little touches (toothbrushes, burners for sitting out at night) really make the stay a lot easier. The projector screen is a really nice touch too.
The host was really helpful and helped us book transport and day trips.
I would really recommend if you want to be in the city centre, still with the jungle feels.

The villa is in an amazing location right in the centre of Ubud. The market is right outside but as the villa is tucked away, it is very peaceful whilst being in the centre.
Lots of mosquitoes so it would be great to have had an electric mosquito machine!

Lovely compound style villa! We felt like we were in our world. The property manager Mariah was super helpful and managed to organise our activities. Great location close to many restaurants!
Noisy critters which are to be expected in that part of the world

Great value, helpful staff, nice villa
Nothing we didn’t like

Pool, kitchen and bathrooms and projector screen. Host responded well to a few issues we had. Host got an iron for us when requested. Very close to everything. Host organised transport for us for a day trip and airport drop off. Excellent restaurant recommendations. Air conditioning and fans in all rooms.
Some beds were rock hard and some were way too soft. Our last night there was extremely loud music playing past 2:30am. The first night there was a lot of rain and the pool pit near the bedrooms caused a lot of noise. Some of the bedrooms need new window coverings as far too much light comes in the morning.

We have a fantastic stay at Ubud Villa Heart for a week in August. We were 4 adults and one toddler.
There was a little communication hiccup before we got there. A week prior to the trip I contacted the email supplied on booking.com to organise an airport pick up and didn’t get a response, so I messaged the phone number that was listed on booking.com (number ending in 218) - this person supposedly used to work with the hosts but doesn’t anymore. After some confusion I got in touch Maria, the manager of the villa (her number ends in 569). I had already organised a car with this other person, but I cancelled it and booked one with Maria (I didn’t loose any money).
It is a lot easier to book a pick up through Maria as the villa is on a street with permanent market on it and only regular drivers are able to go down it (ones that Maria organises). Though it’s not a far walk from the main road up the villa, it is if you have all your bags and it’s hot (this happened to my sister travelling with a toddler). Though the communication at the start was a little confusing, Maria is very helpful and responsive. I have passed on this feedback directly to the hosts, so they can hopefully update the phone number listed.
The location of the villa is fantastic, close to lots of great places to eat and cultural sites. I highly recommend getting up early and walking north up the street until you get into the rice fields, you can see the sunrise over the rice patties. There are some nice little coffee shops around the area and you can do part of the sweet orange walk - we saw a Javan Kingfisher when we did this.
As the traffic in Ubud can be bad, we really appreciated being so close to everything we wanted to do. I would take this into account if you’re travelling with children and need to get cars around (rather than motorbikes).
Though the villa is located on a busy strip there are thankfully mainly motorbikes and pedestrians so it doesn’t get too loud.
- The wrong phone number listed on booking.com
- The slow internet

What an amazing oasis in the centre of Ubud. Close to everything, shops, bars. Restaurants. As a family of 5 with kids it was perfect, though rooms are separate so you have to get used to it.
Loved the projector and cinema screen. Bring your laptop as WiFi works better that way.
Maria was fab, organising trips and nothing was too much trouble. If I come back this is where I’ll stay. ❤️
There’s the usual mosquitos but cover up as you do in this part of the world.

Central location in the city. The villa manager, Maria, was excellent! Responded quickly and arranged the tours which we liked on a short base.

Setting and location and the space was quite lively
Towels are not replaced daily which is not great when it’s so humid, specific cables were required for connection for television to access streaming which no one would travel with, I think these should be provided by host.

Great location, lovely rooms and separate living area for communal family time.

Location was top notch. Villa was spacious, quiet, clean and good working air conditioning.
All the rooms were spacious and nicely decorated! Charming.
The host, Maria and the driver were both very helpful.
Maybe a second key, but we got along fine with just one.

Absolutely beautiful. So peaceful and quiet. Right in the middle of Ubud, you have the whole villa to yourself. You can cook yourself or do villa service from the restaurant upfront. Amazing place

Could not fault the location or the staff

Location was fantastic, shared space yet lots of privacy, thoughtful design features, clean and peaceful
Nothing, everything was excellent - maybe not for those that don't appreciate such direct exposure to Bali's animals, critters, noises and wake-up calls

we stayed 2 nights with a family of 5. The villa is in the middle of a market street and consists of multiple rooms around a pool/ garden. What we liked:
- spacious
- lovely pool and garden
- friendly people and staff
- lovely pets
- fruit as a welcome gift
what we didn’t like:
- humidity in the rooms, it smelled like mould
- thick, fluffy mould growing on the bathroomwalls
- the bathroomsink didn’t drain (very slowly)
- all, but one bed, very saggy and soft
Way too expensive for what it is!

Location is excellent, right in the middle of it all and yet super private and quiet. Ubud has notorious traffic issues and we have always stayed out of Ubud a bit but this was so awesome to be right in the heart of Ubud.
Family who look after you (as Villa is at the back of their home ) are so lovely. They have cute cats and dogs and koi fish, great food from the restaurant, it can be delivered to your table! They came in everyday to clean up after us all and the place was very tidy. Our bed in Poise room was super comfortable. Pool was smallish but deep and perfect for a cool down. We would definitely stay here again. Maria and her family were excellent hosts.
I can’t think of anything I could say that disappointed us. We were 2 families and we just had a brilliant time!

Maria was such an amazing host. Very responsive to my messages and questions. Super nice and accomodating.
Maybe providing or letting guests know ahead of time that they will need outlet adapters if our outlets do not match the country's outlet/voltage. Ants/bugs sort of surrounded the rooms, but the raid spray they provided helped and you can always request to have the rooms cleaned.

The location is very good and safe. It is near to Ubud market and palace. There are a lot of dining options nearby. We could even order food from Savannah Moon and the food will be delivered to our Villa. It was nice to have toiletries provided. Maria is very helpful and answered our questions patiently. We had a great stay here.

Great location, restaurant on site
no tv or Netflix - only a few old PlayStation games

Loved the layout of the villa, the rooms and the staff. Maria the villa manager and all the staff were so lovely and helpful, they can organise and help everything. We had our 18 month old baby with us and they dealt with the company we hired to childproof the pool. The villa is behind a restaurant so can be a little hard to find on the street but just enter through the restaurant entrance. We loved the home cinema for watching movie and sports. You can connect your phone so it was great for raining days. Very comfortable and homely feeling.

gorgeous pool, close enough to feel together but everyone had their own house and their own clear space, absolutely in the center of downtown but it felt very quiet and peaceful, and Maria was an angel who helped us with everything. Would definitely stay again

Fabulous stay. We have travelled to Bali many times and this was the first time we felt we actually stayed in true Bali. Villa was tastefully decorated, location excellent but the best was Maria. Maria was concierge, ray of sunshine and made us feel that we were family.

The house is located in beautiful Jl Kajeng, a lovely part of Ubud, in the centre of town but a short walk to the stunning rice fields. So much wonderful street life but the house was surprisingly quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The house and garden were well equipped and full of character. The layout was fantastic with the separate living and sleeping areas/bathrooms. The Savannah Moon restaurant at the front was excellent. Fabulous property!
Not a complaint but a safe for valuables would be good. Other than that it was perfect.

The Villa was in a great location right in the Ubud Markets with a restaurant at the front with great food. The Villa was quiet and comfortable for our family group of 7 people.

The host, Maria, is an absolute gem, super lovely to deal with, so accommodating and arranged wonderful drivers and activities for our family on multiple days. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Ubud with tons of restaurants, shops, market stalls, the temple and palace right at your doorstep. The villa itself is very comfortable and spacious and we loved the resident bunnies : )

The villa is right in the centre of Ubud. Everything is at walking distance. Our host Maria was extremely helpful and made sure that any inconvenience was quickly resolved and compensated. She even arranged a birthday cake for our daughter! The villa has been recently refurbished. Everything looks very clean and tidy. A real piece of heaven in the busy heart of Ubud.
We had some power issues but our host Nord ensured us that this has been permanently fixed.

very quiet, the family were lovely
the only issue was lack of signage which they are addressing

Fantastic location! Depending on which direction you take, you're either a short walk away from the center - the market, places to eat, have coffee, hail a ride, change money, temples etc. Though I would recommend waking up early, going up the opposite side of the street and shortly finding yourself enjoying a quiet morning in the midst of the rice paddies.
The couple who operate the cafe in front, and their staff, are also extremely nice and helpful.

Close to the centre of Ubud and short walk to many restaurants and shops, but far enough off the Main Street that inside the villa was quiet
Great property for sharing with friends or adult family on holiday
nothing!

Great location and a good size villa
We enjoyed our stay but thought the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. We also noticed that the AC in two of the three rooms weren't working too well.
