The location, a bit of a walk from the main road. If you travel light it’s okay but if you have two luggage it’s cumbersome.

I felt safe, secluded, and taken care of while still close enough to the thick of things.

Perfect location for Ubud, within walking distance of everything I wanted to see. The whole vibe felt vintage Balinese - massive room, lovely staff, marble bathroom, wooden bed, high ceilings, breakfast was great. When I was checked in the owner made sure to point out which directions the sun rose and set in so I could enjoy the view. Super quiet. The scenery was stunning, set in a family compound with a rice field backdrop. I stayed for almost a fortnight and it was perfect for a longer stay. Each of the big yoga studios are reachable within an hour’s walk. Exploring the little lanes, nooks, and crannies of Ubud with such a central location to escape back to was a delight.

Extremely bad experience. Worst homestay ever.

Property was horrible. No parking available. Walking through narrow roads with luggage are really tough. Management team were not ready to response as well as help .

Room is basic

I didn't like my stay here , we stayed here for 4 days, its little away from street you have walk with your lugage to reach this place. We were okay with that, but one always expects a comfortable bed and cleaniness and hygiene. But this is far from comfort and hygiene. The bed mattress was old and blanket , towels had smell in it. And beyond that, we asked the employee not to go in our room in our absence, but guess what, the owner himself went into our room and upon inquiry he was not guilty. Breakfast table had also alot insects and ants running around upon asking he said i dont have time to clean. 🙄.. Also lizard died in front of our room for 2 days it wasn't cleaned at all Tip, dont take bike for rent from owner he tries to blame you for damages and everything. Thankgod we had videos and photos for proof

The people are very kind and accommodating. It's a quiet environment yet it's close to the city center. Also, the hotel has beautiful Balinese style architecture.

The rooms were huge , we had 2 bedrooms which were very large and with separate air conditioning The bathroom was huge Overall the villa was beautiful with Balinese style I loved the stay , it is centrally located Everything is nearby from the ridge walk to the ubud palace and the art market

Peaceful and friendly

It was close to centre of Ubud but far enough away from Bisma street to be very quiet. My room overlooked the rice paddies. The building and decor are very traditional Balinese style. The breakfast was lovely and plenty.

Friendly staff/family and were very helpful with everything. Wifi in our room was great, family went “above and beyond” like letting us use their old family pram, finding us good deals on local tours, very forgiving and understanding of our annoying children, offered to cook me extra breakfast given my wife wasn’t eating etc. Located in a quiet area but still walking distance to things in town

garbage bin was too small? not a huge deal though and was emptied daily

Amazing budget friendly place to stay

The location was off the main road and therefore peaceful and quiet, but still withing walking distance of Ubud center and most tourist attractions. The staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating and very helpful in finding guides and drivers. The few issues that arose they handled beautifully. The breakfast was delicious with great variety and something for everyone, though we did have an order mix up on our last day. The rooftop had an amazing view, and we enjoyed eating there every day. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.

There were some spiderwebs in the corners and sand kept falling from the roof ever time it rained.

The place was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice. The cottages are located in a very quiet area so rest assured. The breakfast was at the rooftop, the view and the food were great!

The way to the cottages could be a little bit confusing as it’s not completely accurate if you’re using google maps, but locals would always help you :)

This place is magical! The people who work here are a family and some the kindest people I have ever met. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe during my stay. My room was huge, spacious and clean. High ceilings, comfy bed, big windows and a huge bathroom. A real feeling of grandeur and elegance! The delicious complimentary breakfast is served on the shaded rooftop overlooking green spaces, nearby homes and with views to the volcano! Your breakfast is prepared fresh while you wait. You can access the rooftop and free wifi anytime to enjoy the views, quiet, complimentary tea/coffee and lovely breeze. There is a small fridge in the room and if you want to it is ok to use the rooftop kitchen for your own cooking. I also used the laundry service during my stay which was done in 24 hrs, priced per kilo and returned in perfect condition. The location is reachable only by scooter or walking, as it is surrounded by rice fields. I loved this! My Gojek car brought me from Canggu to the closest street nearby and I was able to follow the signs and walk to Hibiscus Cottages from there easily. You will be very close to downtown Ubud, walking easily to anything you would like. I loved it here! I will definitely be back! Thank you for having me :)

Tolle Lage, zurückgesetzt Umgeben von anderen kleinen Cottages und Reisfeldern. Ruhig und trotzdem nah an der Einkaufsstraße. Alles wichtige in Laufnähe. Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Besitzer sehr freundlich. Traumhafte Aussicht beim Frühstück. Frühstücksportion für mich ausreichend groß, jedoch kein Buffet. Man bestellt ein Gericht und das wird dann frisch für einen gemacht. Kann den Balinesischen Pfannkuchen mit Banane sehr empfehlen. Roller können innen geparkt werden. Toller balinesischer flair

Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig, man merkt dass sie schon etwas älter sind.

Heerlijke rustige logeerplek vlakbij centrum Ubud.

Zalige suite waarin we logeerden met giga grote badkamer, kingsize comfortabel bed en privé terrasje. Het heerlijk ontbijt wordt iedere dag vers klaargemaakt. Vlakbij het centrum van Ubud en toch zeer rustig, aan de rand van de jungle. Een aanrader!
