Kind of ok place

I had been at this hotel before and liked it so I booked it again. The location is good. Breakfast is ok.

The cleanliness of the room needs attention. A lot of efforts need to be addressed. Also it is hard to get in touch with anyone in the place. WhatsApp is their preferred way to communicate but it is not always possible to get an answer.

Quite place at the heart of Ubud

Great place, very close to Ubud center yet calm and away from crowds. It is in a temple-like structure on its own. All rooms are very quite and relaxing. The room is large and clean, and there is kettle. The breakfast was great. The owners were nice and helpful. There is a tap for drinking water. So, the place has everything to ask for a very good price. Thank you!

not very welcoming

The room was big. The breakfast was good: we loved the banana pancake and the fruits! The bed was comfortable and there wasn't that much light in the room, so we could sleep quite well.

First thing that we noticed when we arrived was the noise of pond pump. It was so loud that it ruined the peace of the garden. Another thing that distressed us was seeing so many animals in small cages like dogs kept in there all day. It wasn't pleasant to sit on the chairs on the terrace because there was no privacy and the owners didn't welcome us. We asked if we could have the check in before 2 pm but when we arrived the room wasn't ready. The preavious guest cheked out at 12 pm but they spent two hours for cleaning. In the next 4 days they never cleaned our room and towels (that even had some holes in them). Hairdrier, like Booking said, was included in the price but it wasn't in the room and I had to ask for it. The sink got clogged on the second day and we had to ask 3 people (maybe because of the difficulty to comunicate in english), and wait all day, before they came to fix it. There are so many guest house in the same place with a lower price and greater hospitality!

The property is very beautiful highlighting the Balinese heritage. Great breakfast provided. There's a two wheeler rental right next to the property for easy commute. Right at the center of the Bali market.

An oasis of tranquility in the heart of Ubud

It's an oasis in the center of Ubud. The family managing the house is lovely. The bed is very comfortable, the garden is beautiful, and the wifi works very well.

Good for money but mold smell

Location, you can hire motorbike easily, good hot shower.

Unfortunately room smells mold, and there was some sewage smell in the toilet. The duvet is not inside the duvet cover. It's just between the sheets. It was coming out when I was covering it and the quilt was in bad condition. You can see that.

Budget Perfect

The staff are sooooo kind! Let us check in very late. The property grounds are really cute as well, small but cute. Our AC worked really well and the WIFI was reliable! Shower water stayed hot! Delicious breakfast.

Only issue was it could be cleaner. We had a massive cockroach run across us on the bed when we were going to sleep. If we had booked a longer stay I believe the hosts would've addressed it immediately.

Lovely, relaxing stay in a Balinese family home

I only stayed here for a night and a half. It's got a great vibe, staying in a Balinese family home. I enjoyed briefly hanging out with other guests from our porches. Can't beat the location in central Ubud on a small street not far from the main east-west road. They offer transportation by car at reasonable prices, too.

At these prices, I can't imagine picking on anything. Some people won't like the family environment, with kids and dogs running around, and caged birds making noise. I thought it was charming.

Highly strategic. Located inside a Balinese family compound. It felt like living like a local in Ubud. Staff was really friendly. Has a scooter rental too so very convenient. It felt very safe because a family lives there so someone is always around and knows who comes in and goes out of the property.

immersive real Bali family life, yet with a confidential and private feeling

Lovely family feels, very welcoming a small patio in front of your "just what we need" room. Definitely the best place if you travel solo and want to keep your energy to yourself while being very close to the city enter of Ubud. You have also everything to cook and some local warung around. It is an immersive moment

Good location, water on a first day. AC with dry option

Booked due to reviews and didn’t agree. The staff probably didn’t like us there was barely any interactions. Felt like bothering when asking for the breakfast both times. Just one option. The accommodation was dirty, bed had some stains even on the cover sheets and mattress smelled so bad. Disappointing
