Suntari Homestay

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the town, making it easy to walk to restaurants, markets, and the main attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, with fresh-smelling towels and everything very well maintained. It was also very comfortable and cozy, making our stay even more enjoyable.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The only thing worth mentioning is that a neighboring property has a few roosters that can be quite noisy early in the morning. However, this is completely outside the property’s control, and it didn’t bother us at all. We slept very well, very comfortable, and it didn’t affect our stay in any way. The excellent location, great value for money, cleanliness, and comfort make this place absolutely worth it.

Home stays are great because you get to feel like a local coming home at the end of each day. Nyoman and Ayu are great hosts who took great care of us.

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in southeast Asia. The property is very clean and modern. It is owned by a family that’s lovely and accommodating. They go above and beyond to help. They even take care of your laundry if you ask them! Bonus: the breakfast made by the mother is delicious!

Staying at Suntari Homestay was one of the highlights of my trip to Ubud. This family-run homestay offers genuine Balinese hospitality that you don't often find. Nyoman, the owner, is one of the kindest and most humble people I've ever met. The warmth, care, and kindness shown by his family made me feel truly welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. The location is excellent, close to Ubud Palace and many restaurants, cafés, and attractions. There's also a secure parking area, which was perfect for my scooter. I genuinely loved the atmosphere of this place and the people behind it. If I return to Ubud, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended.
