As a solo female traveler, I felt so lucky to stay at Home Stay Evo! The location is super convenient, with tons of great restaurants and cafés right nearby. It is within easy walking distance to famous spots like Radiantly Alive Yoga and a quick motorbike ride to the School of Unified Healing, which made it the perfect base for my spiritual learning and healing in Ubud. The homestay is wonderfully affordable for a long-term stay, and I loved looking out at the beautiful garden every morning. Most importantly, Waya and her family are incredibly friendly, warm, and made me feel completely at home.

The fixed overhead showerhead could use a small improvement—since there isn't a detachable hand shower, you'll need to bring a shower cap if you don't plan on washing your hair every day!

Fantastic room in a truly tranquil garden, just a couple minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of ubud center but really feels worlds away. The room, tidy, clean and modern would make more sense as part of a luxury resort for 100x the price. Here it is an absolute steal!! I will be staying here again should i have the fortune to be able to. They also offer discounts to guests on scooter rental, a well looked after scooter which was a pleasure to ride.

I personally struggled to connect to the wifi on my phone but my laptop and partner managed just fine, maybe something to look into

It was a really beautiful place, the garden was lush, and enclosing; you feel like you enter a cozy oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the center. The garden was well maintained. My room was great; the bed cozy, the balcony was nice and private. The view from the balcony was also really lovely - lots of trees etc. Wayan and Pandi, host siblings were so lovely! Really kind, friendly and cool people with great energy. It was nice to have chats as they were on the property. Wayan’s really funny, warm & great company! I also used the spa services: waxing & masssage. Wayans 20 years of experience really showed. Everyone on the property were really nice. They’d greet me when I left & entered. Just genuinely kind & warm people. Their presence made my stay. As a private person , looking for zero social pressure & to relax, Evo homestay was perfect. You were left to your own devices and only a WhatsApp message away from attentive, quick service (request to clean room, extra toiletries, new towels) I stayed for about 2 weeks and would gladly have extended. Its proximity to the center & feeling of being secluded was perfect. during the time I stayed there was construction next door; once that’s complete - it’s a very peaceful place. I had a great stay here. The room was very clean, and the staff responded quickly to all of my requests. The location is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax, while still being convenient to get around. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting the area.
