THE ROOM IS VERY SPACIOUS. WE HAD THE WHOLE PLACE TO OURSELVES. IT WAS A FAMILY APARTMENT. IT HAS TWO ROOMS WITH INDIVIDUAL BATHROOMS. IT IS LOCATED ON THE GROUND FLOOR. BUT IT HAS A TERRACE AT THE BACK WHICH MAKES THE PLACE VERY WONDERFUL. YOU COULD WAKE UP TO THE BRIGHT FRESH SUN. The place is very serene. The apartment has a queen bed on each room and has a couch outside. They have a kitchen area to cook and dine. They have a refrigerator and water dispenser. It was like staying in an apartment. This place is good for groups.I LOVED THE HOSPITALITY OF THE OWNER BAGUS AND HIS FAMILY. THEY SERVED OUR FOOD EVEN IF IT WAS ALREADY LATE. MY FAMILY AND I ARE GRATEFUL.
The construction at the main entrance. But it was acceptable for a progressing business.

Very good location and very nice room. I am surprised. I will love to come back again
Only the down side is a construction right in front

They are such a beautiful family who were super welcoming! From the moment I arrived they picked up my suitcases and showed me the place. They made me feel like family. Nothing was too much. If I needed something, they would bring it straight away. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone I know visiting Bali.

The property was built in a good location - set back from the street so didn’t hear any noise. The rooms and living area was spacious and clean.
The hot water was hard to work out as it took ages to get hot. There was a kitchen but barely any cutlery so was hard for breakfasts

The room was big and clean. I had a room upstairs, and the jungle view was amazing. Breakfast was alright. Wifi worked fine. The Balinese family living in the compound shared some fresh snacks with me :)
There is some serious construction going on around, but it wasn't too noisy.

The location was central on Jalan Suweta which is a ten minute walk to central ubud.
The listing on booking.com seems to be of a property that is well kept with beautiful gardens, clean bedding and helpful staff. The reality is that this homestay/stay is a far cry from the listing. The entire compound is under construction and I had the hardest time dragging and lifting my large suitcase across multiple construction sites in an effort to get to the room. I could not find the exact rooms since there are a number of other stays in the compound and had to ask residents/families within the compound to direct me to the room. The room and bathroom itself were not particularly clean and I had to ask the host to clean it on arrival. I suspect there were bed bugs on the bed since I woke up with multiple little red bites overnight. I would not be recommending this stay. At the very least, the listing needs to match reality. Small grace is that the host Bagus was reachable on whatsapp to request for the additional cleans and order breakfast.

Very clean and spacious room. Bed and sheets felt very comfortable and allowed me to have a good sleep. Staff was very friendly and helpfully and let me check out late. Everything went smoothly and I would definitely book another night or two for my next Ubud trip. They offered me breakfast every morning :}
Unfortunately it was surrounded by construction during my stay and finding the way to the homestay was not easy. I also ended up getting the room on the ground floor next to their kitchen, living area and bike parking lot so it was noisy from early morning on with bikes going in and out and people talking and children playing loudly next to my room. I advice people who like to sleep in to ask for a room in the first floor further back, should be more quiet there.

Once you enter the main entrance, you walk by a huge construction-looking empty grey building. Don’t worry. Don’t feel discouraged. Nobody works there. So there is no noise or dust. The house with the rooms lies further in the back of the property. Rooms are spacious and new, with private bathroom, hot shower, balcony, water cooker in the room , plenty of plugs, plenty of lights, plenty of sitting options (couch in the room and sunchairs on balcony). Breakfast included, which gets delivered to your door every morning. There is a kitchen with stove, fridge and a water refill Exceptional service. They clean the room, bathroom and balcony every day really thoroughly. Family and staff is really nice, heartfelt and open. I stayed 6 nights. It is quiet and tranquil, yet close to Ubud palace and the Center.

The room I was in had nothing, not even a drop of water. There was always a dirty cigarette smoking nearby. The people were terrible, with bad manners. The towels were just like a floor towel. But my children, who went to a different place, said that the people in that building were beautiful.

Very close to centre, lovely staff, tasty breakfast!
The building next door is renovating so it can be a bit noisy for now but that is not the homestay’s fault. Would like some sort of reception so you don’t have to look for staff when you need something, or maybe some kind of number.

Good location, clean, amazing staff, big bathroom, hot shower. Breakfast was nice and they even made us some when we got back from mount batur a little late. Bed super comfortable and good aircon. Amazing value for money
Construction outside but i’m sure it’s just temporary.

Helpful and friendly staff, a good location, and a tasty breakfast. They help with arranging transfers to the airport, renting a bike, and a lot of other minor questions.

The place is quiet. Cleanliness is okay for me.
Breakfast amount is not enough for 5 people and same Manu for 3 days even though these are delicious. And then early breakfast is not available if you are early travellers for us.
The location of AC is not good for sleep. It's above my head and my head is too cold during midnight.

Very helpful staff. Lovely room with great aircon and a huge bathroom and bed.
Breakfast was included, delicious and filling.
It was a bit noisy at times with the children screaming.
The smoke from the burning rubbish fires around Ubud make the air acrid and smelly. Not the fault of the accommodation but it does impact on the general impression.

Nice location, very clean and modern looking, wifi is very fast and stable, friendly staff.
The toilet is clean but looks a bit rundown. My room was facing the entrance/main area so it would get loud at times.

The room is large and clean. The bed is very comfortable and the provided breakfast was good.
The room is within the extended family complex and there is a lot of activity and some noise from family members and other homestay guests. It was confusing at first trying to find the room and someone to talk to.

Great home stay and a wonderful experience to be with local Balinese families who were so accommodating and cooked us breakfast each morning (banana pancakes, omelette and fruit) served to our terrace. Location great only 10/15min walk into centre of ubud. A great restaurant 10 metre walk (mr ketut) and a mini mart across the road.

The location just few meters away from Ubud center.
The breakfast was delicious.

we enjoyed the price, everything was clean and it was very close to the city center
I wish to have more information about the breakfast, because we had a problem to find an owner to discuss what time we could expect the breakfast since we had early activities. additionally we booked two rooms, we had a family room and our friends double room and they had their room 50 m from our place, we wish to know about it.

location, cleanliness, spacious rooms, big toilet, comfortable bed, great balcony view.
Unable to communicate with the guy to order breakfast, short concise sentences face to face and in writing via WhatsApp wasn’t enough to get 2 breakfast (even if we where two people).
You can hear anything at night - other rooms, toilets, water, dogs are barking and it’s very loud.

Convenient location, room very clean and nice, we also liked the breakfast. Only disadvantage was that there is no reception desk (I think owners live next door) but sometimes if we had to ask them about something it was difficult to find a person we could talk to. Otherwise our experience here was very nice.

The location is very good, close to Ubud Market. There were a lot of plants in the property. Very well maintained. Rooms were spacious.
We booked 2 rooms. One was in one house complex and another was in a second complex. We had very senior ladies with us who needed our help all the time and this came as a surprise once we reached. Secondly, water and soap was provided in only one room. We were told that the people staying in the second room have to buy water. After we arranged for water ourselves, the owner sent water dispenser. It was of no use anyway. Soaps were not provided in the second room. Thirdly, there was a dog in the second housing complex that was quite aggressive and did not allow us to enter the complex at night. We called the owner multiple times for help, but he didn't pick up. At last, a good person in the first complex helped us by showing an extremely narrow alley.

The place is just lovely. Rooms are tastefully decorated and so spacious - it almost felt luxurious. Bathroom is in very good condition. Breakfast was filling and beautifully plated (you can choose between eggs, pancakes and Indonesian). The staff is friendly and helpful. Very good value for the price.
The temple close by had gamelan training going on every night until late, which was very loud - nothing the owners can change really, but maybe bring earplugs.

The family owner is friendly. The price for 1 day stay is extremely cheap. Huge room size for the price... its almost like a full house. Location within walking distance from all the activity center in Ubud.

The breakfast was very yummy and changed every day a little bit. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
The water pressure in the shower is quite low

The room was big and clean. The staff was nice and always knew if you were home or not, so they always cleaned when you was away and did not disturb while you where in the room. They also brought you breakfast when they saw thet you were awake!
The room was very noisy at night, since there was some kind of show right outside until midnight.
