Wonderful Stay

The staff were wonderful, super friendly and always ready for any request, even if we checked in very late the night receptionist was great. The services they offer like the massages made the stay even better, I booked for 2 nights and we ended up staying 4! Thank you very much to the therapist also. Very nice breakfast and also lunch we had 1 day. The location is nice because it's away from the busy streets and traffic in Ubud but also very accessible, very quiet and peaceful. I recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud.

The only reason we did not fully enjoy was a tour we booked because the driver didn't speak any English and it was very difficult to communicate. He did nothing wrong, was very friendly, but I wish we could have had some information related to the places we were visiting.

Ok if you are a minimalist, on tight budget, and don’t mind walking on dirty floor or you wear slippers in the room.

The beds were quite good for sleeping, eg no noise when turning your body left or right. Not much noise at nights other than insects or birds chirping, which to me was quiet enough to sleep well for 3 nights straight. Aircond was good. There is water dispenser at lobby, hence guests can get more drinking water easily.

Apparently the floor was never cleaned at all throughout the 3 nights I stayed, it has sands on it almost everywhere. Toiletries were not replenished until we requested. Towels were not replaced with fresh ones, hence we used the same towels for all 3 nights. The wooden walls in bedroom and bathroom had a weird smell at the first night we stayed, but thankfully the smell was gone since the 2nd night onwards.

Nice from the outside.wouldn’t stay if you’re not a fan of rats

We stayed for 2 nights in the lower room. In our bathroom I heard rustling and then squeaking. Turns out there was a rats nest above us in our bathroom so that immediately grossed me out. Informed staff the next day as we’d woken up to rat droppings on the floor. They didn’t seem particularly surprised and said they’d clean the room. We came back to rat droppings still on the floor. I had multiple communications with staff not so much onsite but online. They were particularly unhelpful and rude

Very disappointing

Not much at all, this property was nothing like what we were sold on the pictures!

The property was dirty, the bathrooms were awful, no hot water, things were falling apart, the breakfast was terrible, we had booked three villas and all three bathrooms had major issues! Our bathroom had mushrooms growing from the walls! Not a pleasant stay unfortunately, it was very disappointing! Booking.com you really have to vet your properties properly!

The staff were very flexible, warm and friendly. The rooms were clean.

The shower didn’t seem to have warm water, which was fine given the climate. The shower head wasn’t fully functional.

Pleasant stay

Beautiful place, friendly staff, tasty food, clean room. Bathroom was huge and very clean. They come sweep the floor, tidy the bed and empty bins every day which I liked. They also provide info and tickets for experiences, I booked ATV and rafting through the hotel, I paid around £50 which included both experiences and a driver that picked me up from the hotel, took me to the ATV then to the rafting and then back to the hotel and it was great experience overall.

Location is quite far from city centre, around 10min bike drive. Restaurant closes around 8pm and not really any other options nearby. There was a dog from the hotel and a few times I saw it marking/peeing on the sunbeds. I didn't really use the pool but the first day I chilled on the beds and tbh I did notice a strong smell but didn't think of it much until I saw the dog after. No bueno.

I stayed here twice when in bali! The surrounding rice fields are stunning, the rooms were spacious and very aesthetic ! The bed was comfy & had a tv :)

The only thing is - the bathroom was a little damp, and the location is a little out of the way.

Best value for money

Property was actually a bit positive surprise, when we booked we were looking for a budget accomodation, but surprisingly, the room was spacious, bed comfortable, the aircon was pumping and made the room comfortable even with the extreme heat, they had bikes to rent at the entrance, water to refill, breakfast included and a pool. Considering we paid in off season/ wet season $26 per night, with breakfast included, for a couple, this was surreal.

Quiet place, far from the Ubud's center. The breakfast is good, we can choose various package.

The floor was dirty, and the water is less than warm. The stairs are so small and steep. It was on renovation project and it still working until 9pm.

Not entirely as advertised. Could be better!

We liked the view from the balcony, this was a nice area to sit. The beds were comfortable and the mosquito net worked well. The tours were good value for money (although there were some hidden costs so I would ask for clarification before you go on one).

Unfortunately we were quite disappointed overall with our stay. This was largely due to the pictures and description online not matching the reality. Firstly the bathroom was nothing like advertised. it was dirty, had concrete/dirt floors that didn’t drain so flooded easily. This caused pools of muddy water in the bathroom— flip flops or sandals had to be worn at all times. Picture attached of what the bathroom actually looked like— of course we can’t comment on other rooms but we had room no.4. Even with flipflops on, we still left the bathroom with dirtier feet than when we entered. Secondly, whilst the bedroom was superficially clean (I.E. clean bedsheets and towels), the room needs to be deep cleaned. There were stains on the curtains, dust and dirt on the floor and on surfaces. This property has the potential to be a great place to stay, however not enough care has been given for this to be the case and we were unfortunately disappointed with the standard of the Villa.

A cost effective stay compatible for the solo travelers / backpackers only not for the family.

It is located in the midst of a calm and peaceful society. Small but nice swimming pool. Fascinating vernacular architecture of the property. The open balcony in each room is the USP of this property.

The location is too remote. It would be very hard to access even basic needs like restaurants, groceries, etc. unless you have rented a bike. The host is missing most of the time. You can't expect any room service anytime. The restaurant doesn't work in a conventional way. You will have to make an advance request for food & beverage. Don't fall for the name "SPA" if need spa you need to make an advance request to the host and then the host will make a request to a nearby massage parlor. Hence the name of the property is misleading.

A very cute wooden hut with a 4 pillar bed that hung with sheets which made it feel cozy. Bathroom was unique

Each hut has a bottom room and a top room and you can hear everything between the rooms as if you were sharing the same room. Kept us awake a lot of the time. Photos were slightly misleading

Location close to rice fileds

At 3 am they checked in a room above us. They woke us up and it was horrendous. The roof is made of wood and you can literally hear every step someone takes, imagine this plus 2 suitcases rolling. Shameful that they would provide this type of accommodation
