This place is very good for couples. Great place to relax and refresh. Awesome staff.

The team is really awesome. They were prompt, attentive and empathetic. The location is a bit secluded - main Ubud centre is about 25 minutes away. I liked the peace and quiet. The breakfast was good - not great, but decent. Not the best place to be with kids - this is more of a romantic getaway.

Mosquitoes was a major issue.

We had a wonderful stay at Asvara Ubud. The staff were consistently warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always greeting us with a smile. A particularly touching moment was the unexpected birthday surprise—a small chocolate lava cake—which was simple, thoughtful, and genuinely moving. The rooms are immaculately clean, spacious, and very comfortable. While the villas are clearly designed with couples in mind, the staff were accommodating and made our stay as a family feel effortless. The spa experience deserves special mention: treatments are done in the privacy and comfort of your own room, which elevates the entire experience. Having a private pool right next to the room, complete with a jacuzzi, along with an outdoor shower where privacy levels can be customised, was exceptional. Enjoying a hot shower under the moon and stars was unforgettable. Overall, Asvara Ubud strikes a rare balance between luxury, privacy, and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommended.

It was ok, but it seems like they mostly cater to Indian tourists

The staff are amazing. Very friendly, supportive, polite, kind, helpful.

1.) outdoor sun loungers are old and need updating 2.) no full length mirror 3.) mostly caters to Indians, food & entertainment option, which is great if you are Indian. 4.) walls are thin, I had to ask for staff to ask neighbours to turn their volume down. Not great if you are trying to relax. 5.) quite a few gaps in the windows/doors so the bugs will get in. 6.) you need to clean out behind side tables. Not a great thought to find condom wrappers next to the bed im sleeping in.

Beautiful property with friendly staff and amazing rooms.

From start to finish, this resort did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and very well-kept and the staff went out of their way from the moment we arrived. My only small complaint (and not a reflection of this property or staff) was that the location falls within a no-go zone for the Grab (and other) taxi services. You’d still be able to catch a ride about 1 block away if you simply walk outside of the no-go area but for this reason it can be hard to hail a cab on outbound trips. There were no issues whatsoever with return trips via cab-service to the front entrance of the resort as drop-offs are unaffected by the zone limitations. We hope to come back soon!

Not worth money

The staff were kind and accommodated my late checkout, but that’s about the only positive. The villa was disappointing—nothing like what was advertised. The pool was dirty, and ants were everywhere, making the stay unpleasant. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Definitely not worth it—don’t stay here.

Never going there again.

Nothing to be liked as such.

We had to change our Villa to La Vie Villa in Seminyak, The whole process was very troublesome. We wanted to do a drone shoot in the Villa and it was not mentioned anywhere on their website that we could not do it. But after paying the money, they told us we could not do it. We asked for a refund but there was a straight no. You are trapped once you have paid. Air Cons in the room was not working properly, Tech came a few times to fix it but to no avail. It only cooled down after the sunset. During the day we were sweating inside the room. The pool is quite deep with no stairs to go in and out of the pool.

We stayed for three nights in this beautiful villa with private pool and jacuzzi, very welcoming staff and beautiful sur

Beautiful spacious villa with private pool and jacuzzi. The all glass windows slide open along the pool, connecting the room with the pool area nicely. Bed was comfortable. Two separate air conditioning units indoors and ceiling fan is also available. Unlimited filtered drinking water available on request. Staff super friendly and helpful. Location-wise beautiful area with smaller rice terraces around, but one needs a scooter to get around. Hotel rented us the scooter as well which was very convenient. It’s about 15-20 min scooter ride to Ubud town, lovely cafes and restaurants along the road. Much more peaceful than Ubud town. There’s a restaurant pretty much connected to the property, however not part of the hotel, with nice outdoor seating and pretty good menu with western/Asian dishes. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

It can get noisy at night if loud bikes are passing by or if the neighbours are playing loud music /talking loudly outside, as the roof is very thin, made of bamboo we presume. Nothing a pair of earplugs won’t solve. The breakfast is delivered to the room. Sometimes it was a little cold by the time it arrived.
