Magical!

The villa was massive and just had everything you needed and so much space. The staff and service really exceeded our expectations / they were just so lovely! My family and I loved it here!

I think the only downside is that it is not really walking distance to the centre of Ubud. But is really easy and cheap to get taxis everywhere.

Perfect Ubud

Absolutely loved my stay here. They allow pets and I brought my dog and she loved running around the grass. Although it was rainy, we still enjoyed our stay with the perfect garden view. Highly recommend and I’d stay again. Perfect place for pets. Hot shower, mosquito net, breakfast included, garden, pool, staff easy to communicate and WhatsApp

Accomodating, clean & comfortable!

All of the rooms were gorgeous, amazing waking up to the sounds of the forest in the most comfy bed imaginable. Staff were extremely kind and accomodating to our needs. If we wanted food or spa treatments we only needed to give min 1 hour notice and they would be at our door ready to begin service! We kept regular contact with staff of our comings and goings and when we would leave for the day we would come back to a fresh and clean space. We experienced some wildlife at the villa that made it fun and fascinating for us (geckos, frogs and lizards) however if you are worried about these encounters I wouldn’t recommend this place. We had such an amazing experience during our stay, and if we return to ubud, we will stay here again!

Beautiful Villa

The pool was massive and a highlight for us, and the rooms and washrooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout our time. We travelled as a family with an infant and a 5-year-old, and both of them had a wonderful time. They especially loved watching the fishes, swimming in the big pool, and spending time in the beautiful seating area. Overall, it was a good family-friendly place to stay.

The kitchen was unfortunately not in good condition. It was dirty, and even the cookware wasn’t properly cleaned. The overall kitchen setup felt very run down and poorly maintained, and to make things worse, I even saw a large rat in the area. This made it very difficult and uncomfortable to use the kitchen during the stay

We received top tier service here. The villa was stunning and the staff were amazing, particularly our girl Devi who welcomed us when we arrived late, took us through everything we needed to know and organised dinner for us at 8:30pm! She gave us her WhatsApp number and was available at all hours answering us within minutes. I would highly recommend staying at Ubud Virgin Villa and we would definitely stay here again if we come back. Outstanding service!

Only thing (tiniest thing) it is approx. 15 minutes maybe 20 by car to the city centre, as traffic is usually bad. But the Villa itself is beautiful.

Ubud virgin villa is more suitable for a group of friends rather than families.

It was open and the pool was nice. There was a lot of options for breakfast which was good especially for the kids. The staff were lovely and were there to help with anything. Mosquito coils and bug spray were provided which was nice. The pond around the bedroom was cool. The kids enjoyed looking at the fish and found frogs in the lily pads.

It wasn’t very toddler friendly, ok for older kids. One room had an open spot in their bathroom that was accessible from outside the property. Another bedroom had a broken bed. The property is definitely a little run down compared to the photos. We had electricity issues during our stay (not blackout related) but the staff were really helpful in getting it sorted.

we don’t recommend at all this property until they do some major maintenance fix and deep cleaning

the layout. the location

the villa was disgusting. never cleaned. bedsheet and towels were clean everything else was disgusting. microwave dirty, kitchen sink never cleaned, shower head was unbelievably dirty, electric cable hanging in the clothes cabinet, everything was in a very very bad conditions of hygiene and security. the outdoor sofas pillow greased as never been ever cleaned I guess. No mosquito net (it costs literally 5 USD to buy a bed mosquito net...), no coffee machine, 3 dirty plastic hangers per person, toilet cover broken, and there was a massive mouse in our room that let her excrements on our bedsheet...

The location was great, very calm area if your looking for something more relaxing totally worth, the villa it self is very nice the beds are very comfortable and very spacious rooms and bathrooms the pool was nice as well

The bed cushions had a funny smell and the villa in general had a strange smell like bleach or some sort of chemical smell, the glassware was pretty limited there weren’t many glasses and a way the things are storage was very odd like the cutlery was kept in a plastic box, All of the 4/5 couches were very uncomfortable. Also the last day we were there and did the check out none of the staff helped us to bring the bags out, we did not mind it but seeing how the villa floor is made is was pretty hard to carry a 35k bag from the living room to the entrance

Fabulous return visit 🤍

It was our second visit, we liked everything. We did spilt stay in pool villa and garden. It was fabulous. This time we travelled with toddler 1 year and we could not ask for more. The staff went over and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable. They were always ready to assist when needed with smile on face🤍 They have the best team

Lovely traditional villa out of the hustle and bustle of central Ubud

Gorgeous little villa around a 10 minute drive into central Ubud. This was a lovely, peaceful haven and a great place to chill and spend time. Pool was lovely and cool. Ample space to chill in the communal area. What you would need in the kitchen if you wanted to cook. As you enter there is a lovely fish pond outside of the first two rooms. Both rooms were modern, clean and comfortable with large bathrooms. The other room is separate and by the pool, again very comfortable. Some nice traditional decor. You can order breakfast to be cooked in the villa. Staff are super nice and helpful. One of the mirrors fell down during our stay and they promptly came out and fixed it. They put us in touch with a local driver called Nyoman who was a lovely guy and made himself available any time we wanted taking or picking up from anywhere. Hotel a few doors down with good food and a lovely setting if you don’t want to venture far. Would recommend.

Wasn’t really a problem but just be mindful that this villa is in nature, surrounded by jungle or fields. So you will have various wildlife coming to visit. We had a few frogs and lizards and strangely even a crab. Not a problem for us, but some people might not like it.

This accommodation is really set up for servicing the large villa options, the cabins are neglected.

Staf were very friendly and accommodating, apologising profusely for the problems with the old address still being featured on Booking.com and google maps, and for the misinformation r.e. access to pool.

Information on Booking.com is outdated and incorrect. Cabin was adequate but musty, tiles in bathroom cracked. Food was ok. Location was a fair way from most attractions.

I loved how close it was to the city center. The villa also offers a complimentary ride every day which was a nice perk. My private villa was very quaint and accommodating. The staff were attentive and always readily available when needed. The complimentary breakfast was great, well prepared. Kudos to the staff here, they’re very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful villa for a very relaxing stay in the nature

Amazing room at very affordable price. The breakfasts are catered to each guest. We had a room by the pool, so the view is great, and the environment overall was very peaceful relaxing. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, they'd remember the name of guests and make sure everyone's needs are met. Highly recommend!

The location was a bit far from the Ubud city, and there was not much in the neighborhood. There was a shuttle to the city but no shuttle back, and the shuttle only worked until 5pm. We had to order a cab otherwise. In terms of food and drinks, they only had limited things to offer, but it was enough to enjoy the stay.

We really like the design of the villas and the style. The size of the room was awesome and the bathroom was fantastic massive outdoor bathroom. Loved the interior style and the whole hotel area layout with the pool. Very nice pool.

Food was really bad. No taste. I choose scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast and I got 2 small triangles of dry bread. No butter, no jams, nothing. Just the dry hardly toast bread. Since it was 2 triangles it was just one slice cut in 2. So one dry slice of bread. again, no butter no jams...nada. The scrabbled eggs was a very small portion and had no taste and there was no option of adding salt and pepper since there was no salt and pepper. So no tasting scrambled eggs at very small portion and one dry slice of bread with no option of putting anything on it. No restaurants near by that we know of so we had no option. Like prison food and we were starved when leaving. Un acceptable for a star hotel. The room was dusty. Pity with the food and dusty room since I have always dreamt of living in such a nicely designed villa with an outdoor bathroom. With such a nice looking natural hotel/resort, if the food was good I would come back. but this was really the worst food and for us food is pretty important.

We were automatically booked into Ubud Virgin Villas 2 and the description of that property does not match reality at all! 1. Description says: We can accommodate “Special diet menus” - We are vegetarians and in reality other than the 3 things they had in the menu, they refused to do anything else. 2. description says “we have a spa” in reality if you would like a massage, someone would come to your villa and give the massage in your room/villa 3. Description says “We have a coffee shop” - Ubud Virgin Villa 2 does NOT have any restaurants or coffee shops. 4. Description says - “We have private pools and rooms with garden views” - They need to be specific here. if you book a room with a private pool you can use it, for guests who book rooms with garden view, there is NO shared swimming pool for guests at the property. while the location accurately says 4 kms from the center, it does not say how desolate this place is. there is absolutely nothing around the property and unless you hire a scooter/cycle there is nothing you can do! Full payment is promptly taken As Soon as you arrive leaving you with little room to change plans later on. We ended up staying there for the 3 nights we had booked (they were happy to refund if we cancelled the booking and checked out when we complained) but left the property by 10 AM and promptly got back after 9PM.
