ONYX PARK RESORT Ubud

Huge complex with lots of places to relax, restaurants and cafes, a spa, away from the intensity of central Ubud. Most staff were trying their best and made an effort to smile and greet you. Staff even created an offering and put it in my room upon request. Overall they were quick with responding to requests via Whatsapp and fulfilling requests.

The first room I was in, submarine the neighbours above me were noisy. Sound insulation is not good over there. They upgraded to a very large room with a private pool. However, the cleanliness could have been improved. Separately there are gaps in the windows and doors so insects get in easily. There are a lot of children in this hotel, which is fine, but sometimes the staff need to monitor noise levels at night or early morning. At the reception, I noticed I often had several people serving me at once, this was a bit odd. The english levels at reception could be slightly better, very often they did not understand me.

The property was beautifully presented with everything I needed. The grounds very clean and staff friendly. I was upgraded to a Penthouse upon request and was one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve stayed in.

The only thing I could fault was that there were some very rude people staying at the complex. Rude to staff and not considerate of other guests. This was no fault of the complex but a shame to have this dampen my trip.

The townhouse we stayed in was set out beautifully, and the surroundings were very nice and peaceful

We had a full kitchen in our townhouse, but no pots and pans nothing to cook with no utensils. Kitchen couldn’t be used.No microwave we had to pay for meals to be delivered every night because there wasn’t a lot of option to take children or for kids to eat there. Nothing in walking distance
