If you are a fan of calm environment, natural beauty and don’t mind bugs, reptiles etc, then this is the place for you.

The only part are the hosts, who made us good vegetarian breakfast.

Property is not more than a 3 star. 2 rooms not connected, open bathroom full of lizards and bugs and red ants. The location is bit isolated, low on lighting.

Beautiful villa in the heart of nature

We stayed in Laba Ubud villa for 10 days and overall liked the place a lot. Service provided by Dewa and his family was top notch. He was always responding quickly and was at the villa to welcome us when we arrived after midnight. What we really liked was the central location of the villa, the pool which was clean and just the perfect size, comfortable beds, daily cleaning facility, air conditioning as it was quite hot in Nov, the beautiful views of rice fields around us, proximity to restaurants and spas within walking distance. While the villa doesn’t have a washing machine, dewa organised laundry service for our clothes at a very reasonable rate.

What can be improved is the breakfast which has v limited options for vegetarians (we only opted for it once), WiFi which kept dropping during the evenings and the pots & pans in kitchen need to be replaced as they look really old & worn out. The mattresses and pillows looked clean with the covers but we discovered they were quite stained underneath, they need deep cleaning. Be mindful to always keep the room doors closed as otherwise bugs and lizards would surely wander in.

Great villa, great location and superb staff!

Lots of space and great for a family. The location was excellent, a few places within walking distance for food and a circle K three doors away. The owners were very helpful, polite and lovely. The breakfast was cooked in the villa for you when you wanted it and was delicious. Cleaned the villa daily. £2-3 each way via a cab to Ubud. Would highly recommend!

The main door of the villa was hard to open and to close as you need to use the key. Some of the windows doesnt have locks which we somehow feel unsafe to leave our things.

Great location and hosts, it was a perfect way to experience Ubud and the surrounding areas

The hosts were very helpful and kind, did their best to help us with every question we had. Breakfast was amazing, freshly prepared and very tasty. The location is a very good one, close enough to Ubud city to get there easy but also far away enough to be quiet and not so crowded. Also there were many eating and spa options nearby.

Amazing!

Staff was amazing! Wayan took great care of us during our stay. The villa is situated nicely in the rice fields, which makes for an amazing spectacle of fireflies hovering over the rice fields at night. The location is great, a five minute taxi ride North of the center of Ubud. The villa is clean, well maintained and great value for money.

The pool could have been a bit cleaner even though it has an active cleaning system.

The house is a short drive from the center of Ubud and located in a quiet area surrounded by rice fields, while being walking distance from restaurants. Hosts were great and made us feel like home, with special mention to the daily breakfast they prepare on site.

fabulous villa with expectionally kind hosts

A bit more tucked away from the busiest parts of Ubud this was just the place we needed. We had the villa for ourselves with the lovely pool and Dewa and Kadek went out of their way to help with organising trips and rides to the monkey forest, quad biking etc. We will definitely come back.

Laba ubud villa was beyond my expectations. the whole villa was so much bigger. big pool with a small kiddy pool for the kids. the plants surrounding the villa and the rice field just next to the villa gives such a nice view and calm ambience. there is no noise from outside so the place is very peaceful. we took breakfast everyday and the quality and portion of the breakfast is absolutely amazing! but most of all we highly appreciate the attention to detail, time and hospitality provided to us by laba ubud villa team! from making breakfast at the villa every morning to helping with laundry, arranging tours, helping us with every little hiccup as well as being available for us throughout anytime of the day is truly appreciated. thankyou for the kindness you have shown to my family especially my kid. we enjoyed every minute and laba ubud villa truly felt like a home away from home! Clean and very comfy. Was well equipped with whatever we needed. The Hosts, Dewa and his wife together with his family took turns to make us feel very comfortable. Breakfast was top notch.

A bit furher away from town so it is more quiet. We love the pizza float for the swimming pool. The host and hostess were very nice and accomodating, we came with a welcome drink. Also helped us send and pick up our clothes from the laundry. The bathroom with open shower is so beautiful. No compains at all. Truly recommend.

Hostcouple was very helpful and happy. All we need, only had to asked them and it's done. Breakfast was nice. If you want quit and be your self this is the right place. It's a only villa in the middle of the rice fields with private pool and privacy. There was a few restaurant nearby, and many cafe. Nice place to stay and relax.

Beautifull property and wonderful hosts - Dewa & Kadek

We were met at the airport by our very friendly host, Dewa and transported to the villa. At the villa we were met by Dewa's lovely wife, Kadek. As we arrived late, our hosts arranged for dinner from the local Warung in the area (which turned out to be about 100 m from the villa). Furthermore, we arranged with our hosts Dewa and Kadek to be served with breakfast on our first morning at the Villa. They really went out of their way to serve us a Western Breakfast, starting with delicious local fruit. We loved the quietness of the area, the lovely views of the rice fields and the close proximity of a Spa and Warung. We were privileged and delighted to have Dewa as our local guide and driver for our duration of our stay at the villa. What a wonderful experience! We cannot wait to return!

4 relaxing nights at Laba Ubud Villa

The villa is very nice, surrounded by greenery and the location is perfect to avoid the hustle of the city center, but at the same time it’s 5 minutes by car. Dewa and Kadek are the most kindest people that I ever met, they can provide for any services: car rides, massages at the villa, day trip around Bali, laundry, etc. Every morning breakfast type and time can be chosen. The villa is also one of the most cleanest place that I saw during my travel around Indonesia, the bathroom towels are replaced every day.

I would prefer a closed bathroom by window instead of the open air, some lizards came during the night, they are part of the location though.

The villa was absolutely beautiful and was immaculately kept. Kedak and Dewa provided a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast each morning and were very kind and thoughtful hosts, going over and above to ensure we had a great stay. We were travelling with two young children and the facilities were perfect for our needs. The cot even had its own mosquito net provided. The views from the villa were beautiful and serene.

The location was a little far from the city center of Ubud which meant that we had to go by car anytime we wanted to go out. However, this was a very minor issue for us and the benefit was that we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the location. Also, Dewa was extremely accommodating and was happy to transport us wherever we needed for a small fee, which made getting around easy.

Great villa to relax in

The property was very nice and clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Kadek catered to our dietry requirements. She and her assistant came and cooked the food in the villa every morning at our requested time. The pool was clean and Dewa also gave us a pool toy as requested. We loved the outdoor bathroom. There was limited mosquitos despite being next to a rice field. Kadek and Dewa offered one free trip to and from Ubud centre daily.

Although Kadek was nice, at times we felt she was a bit overbearing. She would constantly offer additional servcies at extra costs despite mentioning we had arranged them. This was a minor thing. The villa was 10 mins away from the Ubud centre and couldn't be walked so we had to arrange transport everytime we wanted to go to the centre.

We loved everything about our stay at the Laba Ubud Villa. Starting from the facilities to the ever pleasant host. They made sure to recommend things to do. Had breakfast ready on time and such a lavish spread. Checked in with us every evening to make sure everything was Ok amd we were comfortable. Just loved the stay. Will definitely go back there.
