Villa style in Ubud Bali

Very unique and a total vibe. The place gave me the feel of Balaniese living. The staff was on point and very attentive. Dodie was the best, he said we felt like family to him.

The stairs to the wooden villas weren't mentioned in the description. This should be highlighted because we had guest who had trouble with the stairs. There were also a few slip and falls because of the mats on the outside of the villias, I think if they have more durable mats this will help alot . This issue is a quick fix but very dangerous if overlooked. The air conditioners in the main villia worked fine but in the second room they weren't cool enough. Also in the wooden room they cold have been a little cooler.

The entire experience was wonderful, beautiful gardens and nature with lovely tall palm trees, a small jungle, and rice fields. The swimming pool was amazing. The banana pancakes were very good and the fresh juices and fruit in the morning. Very friendly staff. I loved the authenticity of this accommodation, that it remained traditional Balinese. Alos good location, close to everything but not in the centre, and there was lots of space . and two restaurants right there.

Just the noisy road if you are staying in the top wooden houses you can hear all the noise from the road like the scooters.

Very friendly and helpful staff

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The wooden rooms were noisy. We found it hard to sleep because of the road traffic. But we were moved and upgraded (with payment) for our final night and that was much quieter. Definitely get the villas rather than the wooden hut rooms. The breakfast was basic but good for the price, fruit salad, choice of eggs or pancakes or traditional breakfast, tea/coffee and juice.

Seen better days

Close our friends at Warung Bintang Bali and out of the busy heart of Bali. Nice big room and bed comfortable. Staff were friendly and remembered us when we stayed there 3years ago.

The sheets, pillow cases and towels had all seen better days, as they were tattered but were replaced when i pointed it out The deck near swimming pool was dangerous -;rotted through. Needs some TLC. Breakfast not included

Very small breakfast ( but that’s 95% the same in Bali) Location was perfect for us. Taxi to Ubud town cost £3.00 each way.we didn’t mind paying this. So not a minus for us. But could be if on a tight budget.

I book for 5 rooms for my friends and family. One of the room has an open bathroom and toilet, most of my group are seniors and they find it hard to use the toilet coz the floor is pebbles and at night they got scared coz its open. But overall we are happy and enjoy our stay.

Great place to stay!!

The villa with pool, is very spacious, with large fridge and small kitchen, staff are very attentive, full of smiles and helpful, room cleaned and serviced fantastic. Asked for breakfast in villa and delivered on time. Breakfast options are adequate offering. Scooter hire also avaliable through them at good price too. Arranged taxi transfer to airport, prompt and good service too.

A wondeful, paceful and very convinient place to visit Ubud and its surroundings, highly recommended

The environment is really beautiful, the villa is amazing with the private pool, and with a wonderful and beatiful design. The breakfast and the dinner are also wonderful and you can have it at your room. The staff is the best, they are very professional and really kind and if you have any problem, make sure they are going to make everything to resolve it. Adi, the mannager, is an incredible man, always with a smile in his face, he arranged for us several transport and a diving package in record time for one day trip and everything was perfect. Kadek, our driver was also very helpful and really nice and funny with us, we learned and enjoy a lot with him and all the staff are very kind. In summary, a worth place for staying, if you go, you will not regret it. We will repeat for granted.Suksma Dupa Ubud.

The only thing was that there wasn't a hand towel, but when we asked for it, they provided with two, so, no complain.

Lovely location with beautiful rooms - we got upgraded without request and had everything we possibly needed organised for us. Extremely pleasant staff that were always willing to help. Beautiful pool and room setup.

The location is a short ride out of the main area of Ubud - easy ride on a scooter which suited us but just something to be aware of.

Relaxing stay in the rice fields

Staying in Dupa Ubud Villa felt like a mini paradise, being surrounded by the beautiful nature and rice fields. It is a relaxing place where you can spot workers in the fields and climbing the coconut trees. The breakfast was freshly made and delicious. The contact with mister Ariadi made our stay extra special. He was very helpful with arranging anything we needed for fair prices, such as a scooter, taxi and ferry tickets. He is a genuine man who supports the local community. He went above and beyond making sure we could catch our ferry to the Gili Islands, that he booked for us last minute.

The roosters were quite loud at night, good to bring ear plugs.

In the rice fields with all comforts

loved being next to rice fields and the gully, the pool was lovely overlooking the jungle. Room was spacious with windows on 3 sides and good curtains. Bathroom was enormous and good having separate toilet. Breakfast was substantial but you have to say what you want the night before. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a great warung just across the road - Bintangbali for lunch and dinner. Didnt want to leave. We stayed in the cottages without private pool, but had the shared pool all to ourselves.

No drinking water in the room or glasses. They did fill our bottle when asked at breakfast. The end room near pool could be noisy as there is a poultry farm nearby.

Beautiful villas with clean, spacious rooms on a very scenic view.

The property was great! The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful and always ready to help, even providing food for the fish pond to the kids. We traveled with multiple families and got to use both private and community pools which were beautiful and deeper than they looked. The location was great because it was out of the business of Ubud but still had many restaurants and spas within walking distance, while still being able to get to Ubud with a quick car ride.
