The setting is superb if you want quiet, restful space in beautiful gardens in the countryside. No traffic noise, no crowds, Roosters crowing at dawn, and the music of bird and insect and frog sounds. The staff were amazing and special mention to Maha, who was more than helpful in resolving some issues, which I will mention later. Mia gave me a beautiful massage and body scrub, and I recommend a booking with her if you stay here. Scooters and vehicles are clean and well maintained. Oka was the best resort driver I have had in Bali. He took me for coffee at an amazing place, dropped me to the temple, was very patient, and considerate of my physical limitations. I learned on checking out that he is the owner. So I am very glad that I got to discuss the things that weren't so great.
There was no place in the room to fill a kettle with fresh water. So you have to go outside and walk about 75 metres to fill up. There was tea and coffee in the room, but it was not restocked at all in our 5-day stay. There was no milk and none available on the premises. The nearest store is about a 15-minute walk for an able bodied person. The mini bar consists of 4 cans of soft drink and 2 x 350ml bottles of water. In the deluxe room there is a huge bathtub that looks amazing, however there is only enough hot water to fill it to about one tenth of its capacity, which barely covered my backside, and I weigh less than 50kg. The cleanliness is not what it should be. Make sure you have food with you, because other than breakfast, there is nothing available here.

The view was beautiful and walking around the property was a dream. The spa services were also next level amazing and super affordable, I’ve ever been so relaxed after a treatment! It was so nice having a small fridge to use and a large communal breakfast area for bigger meals. I sadly didn’t use the pool but it looked really nice. The location is a bit far out but so peaceful and easy enough to get around by Grab or Gojek.
Perhaps the biggest disappointment was that 80% of why I booked the bungalow was for the huge bath but it didn’t work my entire stay. Even when the kind man working the front said he fixed it, sadly it was not actually fixed. It was more an issue with the hot water never lasting more than 5 minutes and no one wants to take a cold bath, that’s what a pool is for. They offered to change rooms but the other 20% was for the view which I would lose and it was only on the last day so it seemed a hassle to move everything for one night. Another issue is the bungalow, although beautiful, has a lot of cracks where various bugs and creatures could get in so that was a constant in the room though I was not terribly bothered by it personally it’s just good to know. Also, the breakfast was very limited and the noodle dish does not mention that it has meat in it so I sadly had to send it back when it arrived. The lady at the desk seemed really annoyed and although the rest of the staff were super sweet, she in general could not care less and it showed. Also the dogs next door were crying and barking all night every night and due to the cracks, I could hear everything clear as day.

Good views
Air conditioning worked very poorly. During the day the place was very hot and the AC was not cooling the room
