Booked for 4 nights but stayed for 1 night and left

Breakfast was fine and location was very close to the monkey forest

Room was dirty, run down, no fridge, no sofa. Tea and coffee facilities meant a kettle and cups only (no tea, coffee, spoons). Kettle had to be put on the floor to reach the power point.

Seeing the monkeys every time, great space for the room and toilet too

It could be more clean, There was a lizard inside the toilet bin, and there was a cockroach as well. I have to say when I went to a member of staff to ask for help to take the cockroach they did it very fast and very well, I appreciate that

Peaceful stay off Monkey Forrest Street

For us this is a gem off the Monkey Forrest Street. We had a deluxe room, cleaned every day, with comfortable bed, good air-conditioning, good wifi, mini bar, spacious bathroom, nice pool, beautiful gardens maintained every day. The hotel has a handy parking. Unlimited drinking water is provided. Now, the gardens: butterflies, birds, flying lizards, water monitor (varan) in the creek and the amazing, entertaining monkeys! Breakfast is great, guys try the noodles (yum). The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful, communicate well and make your stay memorable. We would happily come back.

Some people could be afraid of the monkeys that regularly visit gardens. We loved them and were waiting for their daily visits.

Pleasant Stay Near Monkey forest.

Location was on spot. everything was at 5-10 mins walking distance. Shopping center, restaurants, super markets, atms, tourist spots, travel guide company. Property was full of trees and monkeys. It was beautiful. Wifi was working fine. there were different connections for reception area and our rooms. Breakfast was not included in our room package so i can not say anything out it.

1. They gave us room which was located very end of this property. There were problems with door locks and gaps in between main door. there were too many monkeys since it was located at the end of the property. 2. Our room has lot of smoky smell. like previous guest just smoked 10 packs of cigarettes. we asked them to put room freshener and they did. 3. They asked for upfront payment while check-in.

The rooms Are not clean. We had to ask to get our room cleaned twice after we checked in and there was still spots on the sheet and dirt on the floor

Monkeys and Meditations

We stayed for one night as a last minute booking. Really good value for money and right next door to the Monkey Forest, so we had little visitors each time we went out or returned to the bungalow. They weren't very scary, but I wouldn't walk around with food. The lady at reception was really accommodating, and they have Chakra and Yoga classes that if we had stayed longer then we would definitely book them. Location couldn't be better.

Apart from location there is nothing in this property

This is a great location but has very poor facilities and staff service. Reception is unmanned from 7 pm to 7 am and more so there is no one to take responsibility for situations. I had trouble with the heater and my neighbour had trouble with Aircon.

I was disappointed with my stay the room did not have TV refrigator or kettle. None of this was mentioned while booking the property

The staff even refused to provide water. Tap water from kitchen while your listing stated that kitchen is shared. They refused entry to kitchen the bathroom was dirty

The room and breakfast were ok and good value for money.

We had some problems with monkeys. The bungalows are very close to Monkey Forest and the monkeys come all the time in the garden. In general are cute and fun to watch but at breakfast they tried to steal food and became very aggressive. It is better to have breakfast in your room or terrace, at least not near the pool because the monkeys are used to wait there in the morning.

if you are looking just to sleep is a fair room. it is closed to the centre. it has a place to rent a scooter just outsi

air conditioning was good, bed was good, staff friendly.

we understand it is a tropical country, but our room was full of ants, we saw the other rooms and it didn’t see any. however we did not complain or ask to change as we were going to stay to sleep. the shower was not good.

Friendly staff. Accommodated our request to change rooms. Second room was much more comfortable and attractive. Great location to the hub of Ubud.

First room was uncomfortable. There was a strange leak on the floor and it just wasn’t a nice room at all. It was clean, but we just wanted something nicer and more comfortable which they gladly accommodated.

The location is fantastic, the grounds are beautiful and there is a nice pool, beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly. The included breakfast is basic, but nice.

The wifi was TERRIBLE. We travel and work, and while I dont need fast internet, I need some reliable internet. It was very slow and would simply go away periodically. When we complained, staff said they upgraded the internet, but it only improved from completely unusable to unusuable on like half the days. We ended up working at Yogurt Republic, down the street, many days. They have beautiful fast internet! The breakfasts were very slow to come out, which is common in Bali, but we had two little kids who would absolutely melt down waiting for it. I wish they could have even just brought out the fruit quickly, which would have helped a lot. Our room had a bathroom that had open windows - they were high up, with an ornate covering so that large animals couldnt get it, but a screen to keep out mosquitos would have been really nice. My sister had a room that had those same open windows in the actual room. Her air conditioning could never quite keep up. I recommend they cover these windows with a fine screen or net in the bathrooms, and cover any completely that are in the actual room. There is a FREE BUS that runs a loop through the town all day long. We stayed a month paying for taxis, which are pretty expensive in relation to the prices of everything else there, before they finally mentioned there was a free bus. I cannot tell you how much easier and better it would have made our stay, how many more things we could have gone and done and seen had we known about this. It is incredibly hot and walking even 5-10 minutes is very hard. When we asked why they hadn't said anything earlier, they answered that we hadn't asked. HOW WOULD WE KNOW TO ASK? Please let your visitors know about this free bus, maybe as part of your check in process.

The hotel is located at the monkey forest and the Main Street of Ubud, full of stores and supermarkets! Staff is super friendly! Everything cleaned on a daily basis!!! WiFi good! The hotel has a pool and a big garden.

Although the breakfast was fresh cooked the portion was small, still tasty!

La localisation de l’hôtel est top, la piscine et son environnement est sympa, il y avait du choix au petit dejeuner.

Établissement vieillot, le personnel m’a mis la pression 10 minutes avant l’heure du checking pour que je rende la clé, le petit dej était light (on en a payé un en plus c’était hors du prix par rapport à ce qu’on a reçu (un oeuf, une tartine et un jus pour 50k)

Pour le prix c’est tout à fait correct. Le mieux c’est l’emplacement, idéalement situé pour profiter d’Ubud à pied.

Je n’avais pas d’eau chaude, et vu le prix que j’ai payé j’ai cru que c’était normal… finalement un technicien a réparé et j’ai pu avoir l’eau chaude.

Läget, trädgården och de flesta i personalen var fantastiska.

Dåligt städat. Det räcker inte att sopa golv och bädda, man måste tvätta gardiner ibland oxå, skrubba badrum, handfat och dusch. Byta trasiga lampor och möbler. Det var dålig respons ibland vid frukosten, en gång blev jag ombedd att vänta då personalen åt frukost.. aporna störde nåt fruktansvärt, ibland gick inte att vara ute på sin balkong eller vid poolen. Personalen borde se efter och jaga bort aporna bättre. Hela stället behöver en uppfräschning. Det var dåligt med belysning på kvällen vilket kan vara direkt farligt med alla trappor.
