Absolutely suggested.

Everything was amazing. The property is a super cute homestay, my room was big enough with AC, clean toilet and hot and cold showers. You can also get amazing massages for like 10 AUS. The family was super lovely. Plus, the most lovely dog of the whole world lives there.

The breakfast was ok, not special but more than fair for the price.

Gorgeous patio, peaceful and central

Loved my stay at Arsa Homestay, a lovely family. My room was just perfect, comfortable bed, hot shower, and a great patio over looking the garden to sit on. Extra bonus the breakfast was super delicious and it’s only a 6 minute walk to the Yoga Barn (if you use the back entrance) central access for temples, tours, cafes etc.

Another Pleasant Stay at Arsa

This was my second stay at Arsa, a very nice family compound development. The architecture is traditional, and very appealing. The bed was comfortable, bathroom functional, and wife fast and reliable. Breakfast of eggs or pancakes was served on the verandah, basic but tasty. A BIG plus for me is coffee making facilities!!

No aircon, but I knew that when I booked, so it's not a negative, just a heads up for people looking to book there. It's easy to overlook.

Awesome location, great breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very nice (and so were their dogs!). The room was clean and breakfast was yummy. Great location. But we got a room without AC, which was our mistake as it was very hot.

Tranquili stay in the city.

Our stay at Arsa was perfect! Our room was a gorgeous traditional style building, with a comfy bed, big bathroom and lovely terrace area. We got tea and hot water every day, and a gorgeous homemade breakfast.

Awesome budget accommodation

We stayed in the deluxe room close to reception & the kitchen. The room was comfortable. The family was super friendly & helpful. We were particularly grateful they refilled our water bottles regularly. Enjoyed watching the offerings being made to the numerous temples & watching the giant koi in the pond. Plenty of hot water left in a thermos for cuppas. Virtually next door to Atman Kafe & across the road from KAFE. The location on Hanoman was perfect for our stay. We will be back, thank you 🙏

A fan would have helped with air flow in the actual room.

This is a good clean Homestay in a great location - simple living - easy and cheap.

The central location and the link with Balinese heritage and culture was much appreciated. Also, the breakfast was very good.

The shower hardly delivered any water at all.

What a dissapointment

If you like to stay in the centre, it's nice. Comfortable cottage.

I really don't understand the high grade. I was glad to leave. The family is not friendly at all, let alone helpful. Not even greeting. The check in was literally just handing over a key. Breakfast is a joke: just one very thin pancake. I asked therefore for 2, and at the check out the manager had the balls to ask additional money for that (while it also says on the menu that it's for 2 persons.) There is a very old lady, very confused, walking at the back of the compound moaning early in the morning, which woke me up every night. Also: lack of privacy, being in the first cottage right in front of the reception. There were hairs in the bathroom when I entered it for the first time. Gross :(

Exceptional

Arsa homestay is a little oasis in the madness of Bali. Close to all the restaurants and main street of Ubud, but off the main road so you aren't kept up by road traffic noises. Our room was very comfortable with both a fan and air con, and a really soft bed. The family who run the hotel are so accommodating. Whenever we sat out on our terrace, we were offered a large thermos of hot water for tea. Such great value for money. You also get breakfast which is delicious! We had the omelette and pancakes, both were so good and you each get a huge plate of fruit as well. Really comfortable stay, with everything you need for a good night sleep. The garden is beautiful too, with koi ponds and lots of plants. A wonderful stay, thank you so much!

Good

The staff were nice. They had coffee free on tap all day long for guests. There was a UK adapter left in the plug for guests use. The location was perfect.

The bedsheets hadn't been changed, they were full of other people's hair. When we discreetly asked for clean sheets, they changed them but made an unnecessary big issue about it bringing the whole family to look which was rather embarrassing. The bathroom smelt like iron-man had taken a dump.

Such a lovely authentic homestay

We stayed for two weeks at Arsa Homestay and had such a great time!! It’s a lovely authentic Balinese homestay with super sweet owners. The room was perfect, the bed was comfertable, there was hot water and a fan (as it’s a bit colder in Ubud it was totally fine). Breakfast was good, there were multiple options like pancakes or omelette with juice or fruit. We also got hot water throughout the day. The location is perfect, there are many good restaurants when you step out of the homestay. Also, the wifi worked great!

The only thing we didn’t like was that we could hear the neighbors very well, especially when they where in the bathroom. The walls are a bit tin. Though, during our stay we only had neighbors for 2 nights so that wasn’t a problem at all. But we can imagine if you have neighbors for two weeks it can be a bit annoying.

Alloggio tipico balinese proprio al centro di Ubud, ottimo come qualità prezzo e ideale per coloro ai quali piace vivere la vera essenza del luogo. La famiglia che ci ospitava è disponibile e gentile. La proprietaria sa fare ottimi massaggi a poco prezzo e se avete bisogno di un driver giornaliero che vi accompagna nelle escursioni chiedete di Momon (il cognato) gentile ed economico.

Il bagno potrebbe essere un po' ristrutturato

Die Lage dieser Unterkunft ist sehr schön, die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, das Frühstück ist gut, das Bett ebenso. Für junge Leute ist dies vermutlich absolut ausreichend bzgl. Komfort, für uns (57 und 56 J.) war es letztendlich etwas zu schlicht

Très très bien !

Le logement est très bien placé. La famille qui nous a reçu est très gentille et serviable. Literie confortable. Nous avons passé un très bon moment là bas.

Il manque une clim ... sans faire nos "bobos" . A ubud température ++ en pleine ville. Et les nuits sont étouffante ( même en mars )...
