Clean and quiet relaxing stay!

The hosts were so friendly, the stay was relaxing, quiet and comfortable. And it was so clean!! Beautiful room! Very simple and in a great location not far from monkey forest and many great yoga shops, cafes and restaurants. I’d stay again.

One night stay in central Ubud

We stayed only one night in Mahaguna as our original hotel didn't have any vacancies for our final night in Ubud. The original hotel had been on the outskirts of Ubud whereas Mahaguna is right in the beating heart of the town- and it was really interesting to also have this experience. So first of all I liked the excellent location, a stones throw from cafes, restaurants, shops, monkey forest and other attractions. Also your room at Mahaguna is part of the traditional Balinese house which has absolutely stunning architecture. I could have taken endless photos! For this reason, the building was very memorable. The rooms itself was a standard room set up with wet rooms en suite, ample storage and was very very clean. Overall, for the price, this was great value for money.

Please note, due to its central proximity, you can hear the town at night.

Amazing place, amazing host!

The host was the best person. I'll never forget such goodness in this lifetime. He helped us when our phone got lost, also helped us even 2 days after the booking was over when we got sick and he and his wife took us to the clinic. They also have a cute dog named polo! Very friendly ! The breakfast was decent, the omelette was nice. I'll stay here again when I come back. The rooms were clean and had a nice view as well. People in bali are friendly but this host was exceptional!

Ontbijt op het balkon aan de straat superleuk! De kamers waren ruim, schoon en mooi ingericht. Heel fijne bedden. En mooie tempel. Aardige mensen. Niets te klagen!

Bel endroit propre et typique en centre ville

Petit chambre, cadre original au sein d'une propriété balinaise centré sur un petit temple domestique. Au centre ville (hyper centre à 10-15 min). Partage de la vie de la famille. Literie très bonne déco neuve agréable. Hôtes sympathiques!

Petit déjeuner (sur la rue) : un demi toast avec l(omelette (très bonne par ailleurs) et on propose de payer pour avoir un toast de plus... dommage, mais seule fausse note... Odeurs d'humidité assez forte dans la salle de bain et forte dans la chambre

Perfetta casa balinese

Il nostro soggiorno a Mahaguna è stato unico! Se cercate un'esperienza autentica e la vera atmosfera di Ubud, Made e la sua famiglia sapranno regalarvela! Le stanze sono inserite in un contesto familiare tipico balinese, ma allo stesso tempo sono moderne, pulite, rifatte ogni giorno, dotate di aria condizionata, lenzuola profumate, piccolo frigo, bottigliette di acqua ogni giorno. È stato un bellissimo soggiorno.

Questo lo scriviamo come consiglio ai viaggiatori: se avete il sonno leggero preferite alloggiare nelle stanze in fondo a destra, poiché la stanza sulla sinistra per quanto caratteristica purtroppo dà sulla strada ed il rumore del traffico può disturbare il riposo. Per fortuna noi abbiamo potuto spostarci in un'altra stanza, Made è stato molto gentile in questo.

Erg prettig en veilig.

De familie die de acommodatie runt is heel aardig. De eigenaar had mij aanbevelingen gegeven voor eten. De oma vroeg elke ochtend en elke avond wat ik ging doen. Er was een leuk hondje die graag aandacht kreeg. Dit vond ik erg prettig aangezien ik voor het eerst alleen op reis was.

De wifi was niet altijd even goed, maar dat gelde ook af en toe voor mijn data. Hier had ik sowieso op Bali meer last van dan in Surabaya, dus ik weet niet of het aan de acommodatie ligt.
