Really great find . Beautiful property in a great location just round the corner from the lake .Room & en-suite ( fab shower ) were beautifully decorated & spotlessly clean . Great breakfast . Sylvie was a great host . Highly recommended

Perfect B&B in the centre of Desenzano

This B&B is just perfect. First of all, Serena, the host, is super friendly and makes you feel welcome from the start. I felt comfortable here during my entire stay. The B&B is located in a beautiful old villa, the rooms are fine, the bathrooms modern, everything is super clean. The B&B is located conveniently close to the centre of Desenzano. The old harbour is just a 5 minutes walk away, as is the lakefront, and within a 10 minutes walk you reach the pier where the boats for the lake leave. Breakfast was wonderful. It's an Italian breakfast with fine croissants and cakes from the local bakery, but there's lots more as well, including musli, bread, cheese, fruit, joghurt, even scrambled eggs. Everything is tasty and fresh. There's a fridge in the hall that all guests can use, which is very convenient. The whole place is calm and friendly, and generally very quiet during the night, so you get a good night's sleep. Overall, everything was fine, and I'm so happy that I chose this B&B for my stay at Lago del Garda.

The location was excellent being right in the old town. The host was really friendly and helpful. The room was attractive and had everything we needed and the building was a beautiful old staging inn. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Perfect!

We loved our stay here, the pictures don’t do it justice. The room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely modern bathroom. The breakfast area was great and the breakfast was delicious - scrambled eggs and bacon to order plus fruit, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt and granola, and fresh pastries and cakes. Serena was a wonderful host, really friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect, in the old town surrounded by restaurants and a 10 min walk to the beach. Even closer to the ferry port. We’d definitely stay again!

Delightful and perfectly located.

Simply, but tastefully designed and organised. Everything you need is provided, and if it isn't, the lovely host, Serena, will do her best to get it for you. The room with the balcony is quite spacious, as is the bathroom. The wardrobe is just the right size, with plenty of hangars. Bed and pillows are very comfortable - and I am very fussy! The location is perfect, 10 mins walk from the beach and 5 minutes walk from the ferry stop. The train station is a little longer, but it's a downhill walk. Even the uphill walk going back was fine in the heat with a refreshment stop on the way on the corner between Via Bergamo and Via Irta. There are also taxis. Serena can help with this too. I would have preferred less sweet cakes and biscuits, and more cereal ingredients, such as dried fruit and nuts at breakfast. But that's a personal preference. There was a good selection of everything from sweet to savoury with freshly cooked breakfast on offer.

A little disappointed the view from the balcony was limited by the trees having grown. However you are so close to the lake, it's not a big deal, and it was a bonus to have the small private outside space.

Corte Trento is a hidden gem on the shore of Lake Garda.

Serena, the hostess, is incredibly kind, accomodating and helpful. In addition to the buffet breakfast, a freshly cooked breakfast was also on offer. The cappuchinos served at breakfast were delicious.

Very good accommodation in pretty Desenzano del Garda.

We liked being close to the lakefront and harbour, around the corner from many restaurants and bars. It was quiet at night with well sealed windows. the room and bathroom were very nice. Serena was a friendly and helpful host, who prepared a delicious breakfast, including scrambled eggs and bacon. The little balcony of our room had a sideways view to the lake.

We stayed during a heat wave and we were too hot at night. The under floor cooling was not enough and some air flow was needed. The crowded Tuesday market in the square outside the building would make it hard to arrive or depart with luggage on that day before mid-afternoon, when they pack up. Beware that taxis to and from the station in summer are hard to get and you might need to book a private car.

Corte Trento Charm

Our hostess Serena is a reminder of living life with joyful energy and kindness. The accommodations were not only comfortable, cute and quaint in a historical building, but step out the entrance turn right to cross the street reaching breathtaking Lake Garda. The location was perfect for us couples with walking proximity to experience the town, ferries, lakeside beaches, shopping, restaurants and train station. We were lucky to time our stay with the airshow and weekly street market. To top off each morning Serena provided a beautiful start to the day with a wonderful presentation of breakfast items to savor. Don’t skip over it and enjoy the stay!! Hope to be back one day and will stay here again.

Serena the host was something else adorable. I think I never met such a wonderful host. My 50th birthday was one of the days and she came singing out of the kitchen and surprice with a cake with a candle and a song. Also when you come home in the afternoon she has put a crossant for you in the lobby to enjoy. I don’t have met before such a great host.

Superb stay from a Superb Hostess

The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was amazing, the location was central to everything and our hostess was the friendliest B&B owner we have ever met. she made us. feel very special. We couldn’t get a taxi to the Railway Station after she was on the phone for ages, so Serena decided to drive al 5 of us and suitcases using. two trips to get us there, and for that we will be eternally grateful. A special lady she is.

Pleasant

The Corte Trento B&B is a pleasant place in the heart of the old town in Desenzano. It is close to the lake. The owner, Serena, is nice and she tries to make her guests happy, which we appreciated. The breakfast is basic, but tasty.

Unfortunately, there were some elements because of which we felt disappointed. First of all, in the offer there was an information that the room has a view to the lake. The truth is that the view from the only window is to another building, which is opposite the small square. When you lean out far from the window you can see a small piece of the lake, but it does not mean that you have the lake view from the window. Therefore, the information in the description is far from the truth, which we really did not like. Moreover, the building opposite the Corte Trento has a part of the air-condictioning outside the building; the noise from it was horrible and the machine was working 24h round the clock, so it was difficult to rest. At the end, we asked the owner for calling a taxi for us; she did not do it on time, so we almost missed the train to Milan and to the airport, which was very annoying and stressful.

Especially liked the home baked cake with the pastries. Good selection of continental breakfast foods -lovely fresh fruits, cheese. Lovely breads and cakes. All served with lovely coffee.
