Lovely place in a lovely place.

Villa Martina is a beautiful place. It is tucked away in a fairly quiet little nook between the two very touristy areas of Sirmione and Desenzano town. Nevertheless there are several good places to eat within a few moments walk if you don’t want to have to drive or travel. The apartment we had (1st door, 1st floor) had pretty much everything you could ask for in terms of amenities. We took the breakfast option one morning and it included the best coffee we have had on this trip and gorgeous pastries. The ladies that look after the place were absolutely lovely.

The apartment we were in had an uncomfortable sofa. Could use a couple of cushions. The main bed was very firm, not terrible but worth knowing about in advance. Also worth noting that the temperature gushes on the wall are VERY bright. We put an ironing board with a T-shirt hanging over it to cover it up in order to sleep.

Excellent location and friendly staff

I liked the location (very close to the lake) and the staff who were extremely friendly and cordial. The apartment was also very clean and had all amenities.

The air conditioning was not very powerful, which was ok for the days we spent in the house which were not so hot.

It was a great experience. Great location - cleanliness was top class - Apartment was unbelievable and extremely beautiful. I have never seen it. Will stay again - Staff (Woman) was really nice. Love you guys - we’ll come back

Modern apartment with great location.

The apartment was very nice, modern and clean. We had two air conditioners and it was super useful in the 36-40 degrees. The location of the apartment is brilliant. Beach is very closed, such as the centre of the small town with nice restaurants and gelato shops. Sirmione is about 15min by car. Paola, the owner was so welcoming and super friendly!

wine glass set would be nice, but I’m sure Paola would give us if we asked.

living room with the TV was great. Air con was perfect for the hot weather. bathroom was amazing as-well very stylish.

Cozy holiday

Good location near the beach and restaurants. The apartment was very modern and clean and had a private parking. Friendly hostess.

The balcony was very narrow and could only fit two chairs and a small table. Adjusting the air conditioning temperature was a bit tricky at first.

Paula. Paula was an excellent hostess, she was so welcoming and ready to help. The bathroom, so modern and spacious. The beds were very comfortable

It is a nice villa consisting of 6 apartments. There is a private convenient parking. We stayed in the apartment with 2 rooms and a living room. It was a really nice stay for a reasonable price.

The construction is ongoing next to the villa. With closed windows it was ok and most of the time we haven’t heard any noise. It was a bit unlucky when they decided to make some noisy part of work at 7.30am, finished at 8am and then were doing some other silent work. There is no one part of the door in the shower (looks like it was there but was broken and removed). The dishwasher will be a great addition to the nice kitchen. Towels were quite old - it will be great to renew to make the experience even better.

liked layout of accommodation and size of rooms. particularly liked the outdoor space. also staff very friendly and helpful ideal spot for the lake

it is tucked away in a side street and it’s not easy to find if driving. a little sign at the end of the street would help

We'd like to come again

Paula, the host, was there for us all the time, the place is clean, the shower is great (very big), warm floors. Location is good, 10 minutes by car from Sirmione, there are some good restaurants very close by, a grocery shop 7 minutes away by foot, a private parking space

The apartment was amazing, I guess recently refurbished, the right size for a couple to be comfortable. Location is good, in a small town near Desenzano. The lady who welcomed us was very kind
