A little gem at Lake Garda.

This is an amazing hotel, with clean and spacious rooms, comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful interiors, very good breakfast and super friendly and supportive staff. The view from our room was breathtaking to the Garda lake and the pool with Christmas lights.

The place fantastic. We loved the staff, the beautiful gardens, the breakfast, the location, the hot tub, the views.

The room was small but it had a balcony that looked to the garden and one of the pools so all in all was fabulous.

A fantastic holiday in a beautful hotel with excellent service

All the staff were efficient, helpful, friendly and treated us as honoured guests. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of items Our panorama room was very comfortable,, spacious, well appointed, and as a bonus had a spa on the balcony. The hotel grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. and we benefitted from two swimming pools in the garden and a rooftop spa. The stroll into Desenzano alongside the lake takes 15 minutes and is flat. The hotel restaurant is good, there is a pizzeria ristorante and a Japanese restaurant within 50 metres as well as the many other eateries in town.

A quaint and beautiful boutique hotel ideal for a weekend away

The restaurant food was incredible and one of the best Amatriciana's ever eaten. The breakfast was fabulous. Would not charge guests for egg dishes. Our room was modest. We received an alternate room on the top floor on the last night which was fabulous.

We had a security issue in our room, the night porter was unskilled in dealing with the issue but greateful to the owners and staff who assisted us late at night to resolve the matter.

Very lovely hotel, room itself did not meet expectations.

The grounds of the property are beautiful, the the terrace where breakfast is served is gorgeous. The rooftop terrace is also lovely. Breakfast was great and staff were wonderful.

The family room requires updating, it smelt a bit musty and damp.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location with wonderful staff

The rooms were a decent size and were well-furnished. The hotel building is beautiful as well as the gardens and pool areas. The rooftop jacuzzi is fantastic and is a must for couples, especially at night when the sun is setting. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Benjamin! The breakfast was delicious and full of choice.

Relaxing and exciting!!

Such a beautiful spot. Very nice spacious common areas . The restaurant, bar and outside pool area are comfy with lots of trees and greenery . Rooms are roomy, we had a view of the mountains behind the hotel . 2 balcony’s. Breakfast was always delicious and the coffee and juices were fresh. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. We would come back for sure

Calm, peaceful and lovely

The property was so cute. The grounds outside were so lovely and calm. Loved all the trees, and greenery. The room was great, good bathroom. Loved the dining area and of course the area at the back of the hotel, which was like a big beautiful living room.

Nothing. The lift happened not to be working when there, which isn’t ideal, but these things happen and taking the stairs is probably the exercise needed :-)

Piccola Vela is an outstanding boutique hotel. Our room was very comfortable with lovely linens and air con which worked well in extreme conditions. The whole hotel was tastefully decorated , the gardens were beautiful and the staff were without exception charming and helpful.The food in the restaurant was of high quality and the pools were well maintained and very welcome.

Fab hotel for families travelling with toddler. Great food and service. Close to main village and marina.

We travelled with a 2 year old and had a family room. It was on the ground floor by the rear pool so we could eat on the terrace in the evening after our kid went to bed. Staff were super friendly to us as a family, including cooking kids portions of basic pasta and eggs off menu (good for fussy toddlers!).

We had a lovely stay and would come back again.

Great location a stones throw from Desenzano centre, felt private and sheltered with lovely garden and pool facilities. The furnishings and decoration made it feel like luxury. The breakfast was great with options for hot and a great buffet selection, particularly the pastries! Lastly the staff were amazing, they went the extra mile every time and helped us have a great holiday. Cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff

The staff were extremely friendly throughout the stay and made us feel welcome. We travelled with a 4 year old who loved the heated pool. The gardens were lovely for relaxing in and well maintained. Breakfast by the pool each morning was perfect. Close to the lake and town, with a great little playground nearby. Would highly recommend and would return.

Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Piccola Vela. The facilities were great, the pool and jacuzzi were a highlight! The grounds were lovely. Comfortable rooms and balcony. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful with any and all requests. Breakfast was delicious.

The electronic door wasn’t working but was fine to lock with a key. Also not sure if the air conditioning was working but staff provided a fan to use.
