Great host, a lovely stay ❤️

We loved this quirky B and B. The rooms were exactly as the pictures on the website showed - fabulous down to the last splendidly decorated detail! Our hostess Federika was outstanding. She was so welcoming and friendly, she made the effort to remember our names, and helped us with taxis when needed. Breakfast was good, especially the eggs. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including a corkscrew and a couple of wine glasses for sitting out in the evening! Thank you Federika 😊

The road by the property was quite busy late into the night but this was balanced out by the proximity to the lake and local restaurants.

A wonderfully colourful place

Everything about Frederica is colourful and flamboyant, from her happy personality, her pretty Italian dresses to her whole hotel. Everything is neat, clean and adorned in decoration & flowers. We really enjoyed staying here and chatting with her every morning. She is always smiling and wants to make everyone happy. The breakfast is an amazing spread, new things every day from cheeses and meats to fruit and cakes. We arrived hot and tired and she immediately greeted us with a drink and a sit down in her dining area. She was helpful in many ways and we had lots of laughs as she encouraged us to roll our R's when trying to speak Italian phrases. We left the hotel on our final morning with smiles on our faces.

An excetional interior decoration with great attention to detail. We enjoyed our stay, a very frienly landlady and a breakfast accompanied by Italian opera tunes. Very close to the town centre, waterfront and tourist boat pier.

All was fine for us on holiday. Travelling on business, I might be slightly overwhelmed by the interior.

Quick overnight stay on our way down by car from the UK to Italy, would love to stay longer next tim

The room was really comfortable and the aircon whisper silent (literally couldn't hear it). The place is a stone's throw from the beach on the lake, and breakfast was incredible - I have never tasted honey like the one the hostess gave us.

Stylish House of the Fairy Tales

Excellent! Wonderful! Very stylish theme hotel. The name of the hotel speaks itself: "the House of the Fairy Tales". For ones who love rococo style, who wants to get back (or to the future - who knows🙂) to the childhood, who loves evenly stylish design - strongly recommended. Breakfast - wonderful

I recomend to change the address in Booking system. My two navigations (car and phone) and google maps made me driving in the city forth and back, round and round for searching via Signori, 1. Just phone call to the hostess helped with getting exact address

A room and experience fit for royalty

This property is gorgeous! Our room was ornately decorated with antique furniture and quaint artwork and decorations everywhere. The room seriously had the look and feel of a palace bed chamber! The hostess absolutely makes this B&B experience! She was fantastic, lovely, wonderful! The breakfast was over-the-top enjoyable. A full European breakfast buffet with a myriad of options and wonderful service. The location is in the heart of Desenzano, a short walk from the main piazza and the pier from which one can catch a boat to Sirmione. This property was everything that can make a Bed & Breakfast wonderful!

probleme principal : la rue passante est tres bruyante et l'insonorisation est insuffisante. enfin on nous a refusé de manger notre petit dejeuner sur la terrasse alors qu'il faisait tres chaud dans la salle non climatisée. pas ideal pour les familles. Pas indiqué que l'etablissement ne prend pas les VISA ...

Una meraviglia di posto per vivere come in una fiaba

La "Maison delle Favole" rispecchia perfettamente il proprio nome. Ambienti, sia camere che sala da pranzo che richiama decisamente lo stile provenzale, ma con tocchi da parte della titolare la Sig.ra Federica che ne raffina e valorizza l'aspetto. Camere bellissime arredate con gusto che ti fanno sembrare di essere in una stanza regale. Sala per la colazione in cui mancano solo Alice e il cappellaio matto. Per 5 euro in più viene offerta una colazione a buffet, che nemmeno con 20 euro avresti. La signora Federica gentilissima ti dà un pass giornaliero per il parcheggio di fronte che ti fa risparmiare ben 14 euro dal prezzo di listino, in più avendo noi parcheggiato nel medesimo autosilo, ci ha fatto annullare il costo delle ore precedenti. Che dire un posto meraviglioso, consigliatissimo e sicuramente ci torneremo. Grazie 🙏🏻
