Other than being a bit noisy and the curtains not being blackout I think this turned out to be a great hotel. There is only one staff member working reception and bar so don't expect anything special or fast there. The room was really clean, air con wasn't too intrusive, balcony did slope but totally fine, bed was comfy. We used the terrace multiple times including renting it one evening, it was lovely.

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The reception area was pristine. We had arrived late in the evening but check in was fast. There is a lift in the building to all the floors. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic with hot and cold food, breakfast was from 7 am to 10 am so no need to rush. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great as it’s in the centre of town but was also very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were always on hand if needed and was knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do in the town and the local area. We are already planning our next holiday and will stay in Hotel Bonotto, highly recommend.

Friendly staff. Parking is at a nearby garage, you pay the hotel and they give you a card that lets you drive in and out of the garage as often as you like. Good breakfast (much better than most in Europe) on the rooftop. So nice morning view across the lake. Desenzano de Garda was a pleasant surprise. A very nice town with lots of places to eat, drink, shop or just walk around.

A wonderful intimate hotel in the center of Desanzano. The hotel is on the main street, but the room has peace and quiet. Rooms clean (cleaned daily) and very spacious. Although we were with 2 children, the size of the room was enough for us. The breakfasts are very tasty and varied. A wonderful lady made us very good coffee every morning. The hotel has an sun roof with sun loungers, from which there is a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding area. The hotel staff is very helpful and helped us solve the problem with the broken car. We loved the stay! I would highly recommend!

Hotel was okay, not sure why all the excellent reviews as it is just an average hotel. The view we had was horrible so I would request a high room. The balcony was one of the worst I have ever seen, full of rust. The hotel is in need of renovation. Breakfast area was nice and breakfast was good, scrambled eggs looked horrendous. We had a problem with the parking, it never worked the hotel said it wasn’t their fault but the garages they need to get these things right for their guests. Apparently there is free parking nearby but we were not told about this . Overall good location, hotel just ok. We stayed in a lot nicer for the same price around Garda.

Very good buffet style breakfast selection with fantastic views over the lake and available until 10am. Two minute walking distance to the promenade and five minute walk to shops and restaurants.Stunning views from the roof terrace across town and up the lake.

Not Good valeur for the money. Unpolite staff, really bad breakfast and the hotel doesn’t have the standard that was expected for the price. Overall this is a very touristic town and I would not recommend anyone to go here. Go to Trento instead!

The hotel has fantastic views of the lake from the breakfast terrace, and is well located for the lake, and only a short walk from the town centre. We were very pleased with almost all aspects of our stay; the only negative one being that our room was a little small for four people.

Good location, easy walk to town and downhill from train station (but recommend a taxi back). The hotel itself is nice, clean and the views from the breakfast terrace make it worth it. Only niggle is that the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours and the air conditioning was very noisy (the heat made it unbearable without it).

The hotel is located very near to the beach and is in the city center. The staff speaks really good English + little bit of German. The cleaning service was excellent and so was the breakfast on the terrace. My family loved the breakfast. Only negative point was the WiFi access. We were located in the corner room on third floor and had major problems connecting to the wifi.
