Very comfortable apartment in a perfect location

The apartment we rented was the perfect size for a couple. It was very comfortable with the bedroom in the loft area. The location was also excellent in the heart of Desenzano on a quiet street. We were able to walk to the lake, the train station and all over Desenzano. The host was fantastic and was so accommodating with our early check in. He provided suggestions for the area, including the Tuesday morning market which cannot be missed (he even sent a reminder Tuesday morning!) We would absolutely rent the same place again on our next trip to the area.

Great stay subject to clear alignment and luck with the neighbours

The location is perfect to immerse in Desenzano life: everything is at the doorstep and at the same time no disturbance from the nightlife. Bakery, grocery store, bike rent just outside the door. Train station is 15 min fast pace walk away. Buses and ferries are around the corner. Common spaces and the apartment are very clean. Kitchen has lots of equipment and fridge has a freezer. Bathroom is spacious and there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are good quality and enough. Wardrobe is spacious and plenty of hanging space. There's a laundry horse and an ironing board. Lightning is good, enough mirrors. Easy contact with the manager via WhatsApp. Straightforward check-in upon arrival at the nearby office. WiFi and air-conditioning are working fine.

The apartment we got only had windows facing the common area, outside patio, so no privacy: curtains closed and lights on. Patio is first come first serve basis and it's allowed to smoke there. So keep your expectations timid. We were not lucky with a family taking several other apartments, they stayed outside chain-smoking and talking pretty much all the time. We didn't cook, but there's no work surface in the small apartment in the kitchen. I can relate to the other reviews about the mattress. Beware there are "house rules" not listed in the description; so align your expectations/needs with the management beforehand and avoid surprises. Overall this can be a great stay.

Wonderful restful stay!

Beautifully presented apartment in the heart of Desenzano. Immaculately clean and elegantly furnished, it offers every facility you could need for a comfortable stay. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, and the perfectly tuned air conditioning ensures a restful night’s sleep. Tiziano is a wonderful host—attentive, responsive, and always happy to help. He even arranged a taxi for us when we checked out. Overall, it was an excellent experience that we would be happy to repeat.

Fantastic location for exploring Desenzano and Lake Garda

The location in Desenzano couldn’t have been better. Everything was only a few minute away (tourist sites), with restaurants, cafes on your doorstep. The train station was about 15 minute walk away (uphill), and the harbour less than 5 mins. Great location to explore other parts of the lake We also done day trips to Milan and Venice, which was great but exhausting.

The only thing missing was an outdoor space to relax, but the apartment (Violetta) was bright and airy

Beautiful apartment, perfect location, amazing appliances (iron, washing machine and hair dryer) and all the extras like soap (even for the washing machine), cooking needs (if you feel like cooking) and beautifully decorated with a floral theme.

We are a senior couple and read there was an elevator but it was not functioning during our stay. The host did help with our bags, which was appreciated.

Great apartment in a great location .. happy holiday 😊

The location was perfect for accessing all the restaurants, bars and shops in Desenzano. A few minutes walk to the ferry, made travelling to many of the other towns around the lake, easy. Tiziano, our host, was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.. I would have no hesitation to return or to recommend it to a friend. 😊

Our stay was delightful

The location is right in the centre of the town’s historic heart. The apartment is absolutely spotless, very well equipped and maintained to a high standard. It’s run by Tiziano who is attentive and very friendly. This is a vibrant friendly area, full of life. The pretty old dock is just a stone’s throw away and beautiful walks along the lakeside are within 5 minutes walk. Plenty of really great restaurants and bars nearby. The boat terminal is ten minutes walk away and has routes to everywhere on this huge lake. Buses to inland villages run nearby and the train station is a short walk away. On Wednesday there is a huge fascinating market right along the lake front.

The location of the apartment was exceptional. It is located in the middle of the city centre with a beach, supermarket and terraces nearby. Also the host was really friendly and always ready to help or answer any questions we had.

Central and perfect for enjoying the shopping, restaurants and shore.

Our apartment was very clean and comfortable for our week long stay. Close the the beach and town and many great restaurants. We loved the little courtyard outside our room. Great place to enjoy a cool breakfast or smoke or have a chat with company.

The spiral staircase was a challenge for my 88 yr old father, but he managed fine.

Owner Tiziano is fabulous, welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful, recommended a few places to go for our weekend trip, he did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. Apartment is so clean, comfortable and big, it has everything we need. Location is great as it is a few minutes walk to the lake shore, we jumped on the ferry on Sunday which was about £68 for both of us, this allowed us to hop on and off whenever we like for that day, visited Sirmione, Lazise, Bardolino and Garda, Shame that we did not have enough time to visit the rest of places around the lake. Lazise is a beautiful place to visit and we loved the long lakeshore walk to Bardolino. Monday we walked from apartment to train station which was about 18 minutes walk, went to Verona, definitely worth a trip there, on the way back, we got off the Peschiera, had a wonder around, a few hours there were enough. All places are beautiful around the lake. Tuesday’s local market was fabulous, watching locals, tasting cheese, meat and fruits, that kept us busy for a few hours :) All in all, it has been a great weekend trip, definitely recommending the apartment and would love to go back.

The only tiny thing we would pick was the noise on Saturday night from outside, as the apartment is right in the centre, Saturday night was so busy, we could hear the noises outside from bedroom until 3 or 4am.

Excellent location right in the centre with the bakery and grocery shop directly accross the road. Lots of excellent restaurants near by and walking distance to the ferries. Fantastic facilities in the appartment and so clean . Great place for family vacation. Excellent host always there to help at any time . Will definitely return.

everything, Ronny was excellent, helped organise transport to the apartment from airport. the apartment was very nice and Ahmad everything you would need and more. the location is central and within very very short walk to the lake. loads of very nice places to eat which our host was happy to recommend. would have no hesitation with recommending to family and friends looking in the area.
