Very good hotel near Desenzano old city center.

Great location, parking in front of the hotel, tasty breakfast with a beautiful lake view, but the absolute best was the smell in the room. The subtle scent of freshness was stunning.

Great location 5mins to station via taxi. They have their own bar and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a shame I went in December as the pool and terrace were closed for obvious reasons. Great place to stay and 5min walk to centre of town

View from the bedroom and dining room. The outside bar/restaurant was very nice. All of the staff were helpful and very pleasant.

Was a little scruffy and tired in places. The outside boarding over unused windows looked very poor. This is from the from the lake side walkway.

I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for the centre of Desenzano and train station. Perfect views of the Lake. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms a decent size and the hotel was very clean.

Some of the decoration was a little tired but nothing a few coats of paint couldn’t remedy. Maybe consideration should be given to moving away from dark grey paint!

A beautiful lakeview.

The views of the lake from the terrace, and also from the breakfast room.

The decor on the outside could be better. From the breakfast room, there cobwebs, the windows looked as if they hadn't been clean. Also, our terrace looked scruffy. The tables were rusting , and the chairs too. The hotel needs a complete overhaul.

Perfect location with great facilities and staff

Pool area is lovely and right on the side of the lake. Rooms are a decent size. Good air conditioning. Location is perfect. Less than 5 minutes to bus stops, ferries and the centre of town. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Decent range of food for breakfast and the view from the breakfast room is beautiful.

Beautiful location convenient for town. Bar staff are a hoot, drinks and nibbles brought to your poolside sun lounger. Wonderful bars and restaurants in town in easy walking distance. Just a great spot for a holiday.

This is an excellent hotel!

The hotel is very pretty and the location is excellent. There is a path just off to the side that leads to the walkway along the water and all the restaurants and shops. We parked our car once and didn’t move it until the end of our stay. The breakfast was substantial and had a variety of foods.

Great location and super staff

Great location and super friendly staff. Excellent choice at the breakfast buffet. Only a short walk alobg the Lake into Desenzano del Garda with access to the ferries. Staff on reception very helpful and the team on the bar outside great.

We were in room 4, large room and fantastic view across the lake but the shower (which was excellent) was in the bath so a big step to get in and out.

Great hotel if a little tired.

The room was an excellent size with space for a large bed as well as a table and chairs. The bathroom was fine, but tired. All toiletries were provided and regularly replenished. Tea and coffee in the room as well as a small fridge, but no milk. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice of hot and cold food, cereals, fruit, meat and cheeses etc. The only issues were the hot food wasn't very warm with no microwave available, and the machine coffee was foul, although cappuccino and espresso could be ordered from the bar and were much better! Location excellent, a short stroll to the main town with lots of shops and restaurants. Right on the lake with great views from the breakfast room and pool area.

Although we didn't want to use them, we weren't told that the restaurant and the pool would be closed due to the low season. The bed was very high, someone short or with poor mobility would struggle. There was some noise from the public area and the lift, which I imagine would be more of an issue in high season.

Enjoyable

The location was fabulous. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Francesco also Julia who even offered to bring us to the train station by car as taxi service was busy. The household staff and breakfast waiter were very obliging at all times. We would have liked if the restaurant offered sandwiches such as panini’s. The view of the lake from our terrace room which is actually on the 1st. floor was great. I would recommend terrace rather than balcony room as same are very small. The hotel is rather quaint which we liked but it’s more like a 3 star from our experience. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Desenzano for restaurants and ferry service. There is a lovely lakeside walkway with access right next to hotel.

The pool was icy cold so we couldn’t enjoy this facility which was very disappointing as its location is fabulous overlooking the lake. One cannot swim in lake either in front of hotel. When we did swim in the lake at Padenghe beach is was actually warmer than the hotel pool.

The perfect place in a perfect town!

The location is fantastic. It is 100mts from the city center and an 8-minute walk downhill from the station. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very professional and courteous. The hotel is very comfortable. The bathroom is clean with all amenities and good supply of hot water. The lift is nice and big. The breakfast is perfect with a superb viee too! I was impressed that they had enough vegetarian options and also some warm food in the morning. I was fed up eating breads and cheeses. As an Indian I do need something warm in the mornings. The staff gave us an adaptor; we were so glad they had a universal one.

Excellent location with a beautiful view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Thank you. Only points I would make is that the room was exceptionally warm, uncomfortable to the stage we had to open the balcony doors in the middle of the night, which didn't suit as we were at the front of the building next to the roundabout and too loud. From an interior perspective, rooms were nice and the bed very comfortable, but the bathroom could do with an overhaul.

Pleasant

Good location, only 400m from centre of town

The hallway had a smelly water odour lingering unfortunately. One of the people we were travelling with had a room to themself and said the wall between their bed and next door bathroom was paper thin. The guy making coffee at breakfast and the morning receptionist had attitudes, not sure if it was too early for them or not but not a great way to be treated after the lady who checked us in was so nice.
