a great place to stay in, great location, wonderful breakfast and a home away from home

The location is wonderful - a walk away from the center and the lake. There's also a supermarket 1 minute walk away. The breakfast is delicious - many of the items are homemade by Roberta. Roberta is lovely and very observant, and made us feel at home. The communications with her were easy and she really went above and beyond to make the stay as perfect as can be.

Delightful Desenzano!

Fantastic room in a lovely location, 5 minutes walk from the lake, bars and restaurants. The host was very warm and welcoming. The WhatsApp instructions on how to find and access the property were very clear, with photographs included. Discounts for local restaurants were left by the host. The mini bar was varied and very cheap. I didn't book breakfast, but it did look excellent. I was offered coffee on my final morning, but I was rushing to catch the train to Verona. I would definitely stay here again when visiting lake Garda. Thank you again to the fantastic host, apologies for my very basic Italian! I won't be in so much of a hurry next time.

The shower was a little compact, but then I am 6'3, so won't be an issue for most guests.

The contact regarding self check in was very good and made it very easy. The location, room and parking were all very good.

Lovely apartment very close to the lake and ferry port.

The apartment is in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the main lake front area. It’s spacious with great aircon. Beds are comfy. It’s quite a quiet apartment. The hotel owners were lovely. The hotel is a 5 minute walk up the hill if you need them.

There was no toaster and limited towels, with the balcony area being a bit small to sit out on.

Can't fault La Villa Desenzano

Considering we needed a place that had car parking availability you could not get much closer to centre of the old section of town. Roberta was an excellent host and went out of her way to make sure we were happy during our stay there.

Roberta was so kind and generous. Whenever we had any questions, she would always respond in a timely manner. It is a ten minute walk from the boat.

The breakfast was lovely and there was a good choice. Roberta was very friendly and sent us details of how to enter the property. It was a short walk to the lake which had lots of restaurants around.

A fantastic place to stay!

Roberta was very helpful and welcoming. Very accommodating and friendly. She was the nicest host we have had staying in Italy and made us feel at home, always helping, asking if we had a nice day and making sure we had everything we needed. The room and the whole place were very comfy and cosy, a home away from home. The rooms are lovely and clean, a great size with a comfy bed, a good modern TV. The little outside space for each room was lovely, too. The bathroom was an excellent size, and the shower was very satisfying, and very relaxing after a day of exploring. The breakfast was delicious! Lots of lovely choices. The coffees were amazing. The location was easy to find, close to food places, bus stops, and a short walk to the train station. We couldn't recommend it enough and would love to revisit.

We loved our stay at the property, had everything we needed from onsite parking to smart tv to cute little balcony. We enjoyed a night in town and a night in the hotel both of equal enjoyment thanks to facilities and comfort of the room. The staff are also extremely pleasant, helpful and welcoming! Would love to return and highly recommend.

The only suggestion I could make is the mattress is a little springy, so depending on what type of bed you like may be a little uncomfortable.

Roberta was such a great host and couldn’t do enough for us. The location was also fantastic, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and only 5 minute walk from the main area in desenzano. We had a lovely room, very spacious also with a balcony. Roberta was so easy to communicate with upon both arrival and departure and all times in between
